Love that show. We got some other things to go over. But my name is Brandon 1:09 Speaker 1 Tharsha with the Daily News Show over this Chuck Charles iron. That's how you doing, 1:12 Speaker 1 bud. Yeah, Brandon doesn't know what day it is because today's a Wednesday. But that's 1:17 Speaker 1 okay. We forgive him because he's at a long day at the park. Yeah, it's been a long day. 1:22 Speaker 1 But I say we had the had the Braves game today. We're getting that here in a little bit. But 1:26 Speaker 1 I got like four hours of sleep last night. So I'm very tired. But anyway, yeah, the Flintstones, 1:31 Speaker 1 Were you huge Flintstones guy? 1:33 Speaker 1 I remember watching it on a boomerang channel 1:35 Speaker 1 back in the day, loved boomerang. 1:37 Speaker 1 So I was raised on the Flintstones and the Jetsons. 1:40 Speaker 1 Those were the two primary cartoons 1:43 Speaker 1 that I would go to as a kid. 1:45 Speaker 1 And there for a while I kind of had the hots for Wilma. 1:49 Speaker 1 I don't know why. 1:50 Speaker 1 I guess I was under redheads as a kid. 1:52 Speaker 1 But yes, I watched the Flintstones religiously 1:55 Speaker 1 and then they made a live action Flintstones 1:57 Speaker 1 with John Goodman and Rick Moranis 2:00 Speaker 1 And it was freaking amazing. 2:02 Speaker 1 It was like one of the coolest, 2:03 Speaker 1 it was the first live action movie I've ever seen 2:06 Speaker 1 that was a cartoon. 2:07 Speaker 1 And I was always excited thinking they're gonna do 2:09 Speaker 1 the Jetsons and they never did. 2:10 Speaker 1 Not that I know. 2:11 Speaker 1 Yeah, they, I do remember, I remember that show 2:14 Speaker 1 or the movie, because I remember their, 2:16 Speaker 1 when was roller skating, I think, 2:17 Speaker 1 or what was her friend's name? 2:19 Speaker 1 Barney's wife? 2:20 Speaker 1 She was two. 2:21 Speaker 1 Betty, Betty. 2:22 Speaker 1 Oh, she was hot too. 2:23 Speaker 1 The name, I didn't like the name as much, 2:24 Speaker 1 but she had that slick black hair. 2:25 Speaker 1 And I think she was fucking the neighbor 2:26 Speaker 1 or something like that. 2:27 Speaker 1 But she was very hot too. 2:30 Speaker 1 Especially in the live action series. I remember rolling skating and they fell down and they they busted their ass 2:35 Speaker 1 Yeah, they don't really do a lot of live action anymore though 2:38 Speaker 1 The only the only people that fucking do that shit is 2:42 Speaker 1 Is Scooby-Doo Scooby-Doo did it for fucking a while you remember that live action Scooby-Doo's yeah, they had sir Michelle Geller 2:49 Speaker 1 Yeah, she played Buffy. She played the hot one. Yep. Yeah. Yeah Buffy 2:53 Speaker 1 Yeah, I think I want to say Scooby-Doo 2:57 Speaker 1 Yeah, they had Freddy Prince in it right didn't any 2:59 Speaker 1 Harry, Mary, Michelle Gellert, it was weird because they met on the cast of Scooby-Doo or 3:03 Speaker 1 something. 3:04 Speaker 1 Yeah, I see always get Freddie Prince Jr. mixed up with the guy that played Malcolm in the middle, 3:08 Speaker 1 the Malcolm. What was his name? 3:10 Speaker 1 Okay. They don't know how to do Freddie. 3:12 Speaker 1 Close at age, dude. 3:14 Speaker 1 Yeah, but I think they're also Freddie. And I think they're kind of close at age. And maybe 3:17 Speaker 1 not. I don't know. But I was got Freddie Prince Jr. mixed up with the guy that married. 3:21 Speaker 1 Oh my God, this is terrible that I got to say 15 different ways for you to know who I'm 3:25 Speaker 1 I'm talking about. 3:26 Speaker 1 Machine Gun Kelly's wife that married, that dated somebody else and didn't she drink 3:30 Speaker 1 blood or something. 3:31 Speaker 1 What's her name from Transformer? 3:32 Speaker 1 Megan Foxx. 3:33 Speaker 1 Megan, the guy that she had a baby with, the first one, was it Brian Austin, Brian Austin 3:40 Speaker 1 Green. 3:41 Speaker 1 That's who I always get mixed up with Freddie Prince Jr. 3:43 Speaker 1 And they have three names, which is weird because usually only assassins have three names. 3:48 Speaker 1 Did Freddie Prince Jr. get the role and Scubidoo's just because his name was already Fred and 3:53 Speaker 1 He just getting understand if anybody else called him another name. 3:56 Speaker 1 Why was that? 3:57 Speaker 1 Is that the main character in there? 3:58 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's Fred. 3:59 Speaker 1 Yeah. 4:00 Speaker 1 That guy's name is Fred. 4:02 Speaker 1 Yeah. 4:02 Speaker 1 Yeah. 4:03 Speaker 1 Daffy's a little bit Fred. 4:05 Speaker 1 What the fuck? 4:06 Speaker 1 I'm telling my pussy and stop playing with another whore over there. 4:09 Speaker 1 I don't think that's what she said, but OK. 4:11 Speaker 1 I was to it. 4:11 Speaker 1 Anyway, no, that was a good movie to you. 4:13 Speaker 1 And Scooby. 4:14 Speaker 1 I can't imagine how they did that. 4:15 Speaker 1 Matthew Lillard being shaggy. 4:17 Speaker 1 He was a great actor as well. 4:18 Speaker 1 I just those were the problem, you know, going back real quick, the Buffy, the 4:22 Speaker 1 the Bampiplier Slayer. I think that's when I, um, like, when you start to get, 4:27 Speaker 1 like you can't actually get a boner yet, but like all the feeling still there, 4:31 Speaker 1 you know, you're like, what's going on with me? Like, and it honestly pisses you 4:33 Speaker 1 off. Cause you don't know what's happening. You like, I see that girl. 4:36 Speaker 1 And I just got like a, like an inside boner. 4:38 Speaker 1 Like it was inside me because my wiener couldn't get hard yet. 4:41 Speaker 1 And I'm just kind of like, what's going on here? Like, why do I feel like this? 4:43 Speaker 1 Like I feel completely different about Sarah Michelle Geller than like maybe 4:46 Speaker 1 the girls at school. 4:47 Speaker 1 Not to talk about that. 4:49 Speaker 1 But I kind of think I was able to do that when I was like six on like on command you were getting bonus at six 4:55 Speaker 1 Yes, I think I I mean yeah, and then and then I remember the first time I got it because I was like 5:01 Speaker 1 Watching something I told you this story, but it was married with children. It was Peggy. Oh, yeah 5:06 Speaker 1 Crazy hair that when he started wacking off 5:10 Speaker 1 I think it was it was it was it married with children? It was either that or 5:15 Speaker 1 or what was the other one that really got me? 5:17 Speaker 1 I'll say by the bell. 5:19 Speaker 1 Oh, I thought you like outflated a little weird alien guy. 5:22 Speaker 1 You see that guy's right. 5:22 Speaker 1 Yeah, see we got James down here in the comments. 5:24 Speaker 1 We appreciate it, bro. 5:25 Speaker 1 We got James and I don't know how to say the other name. 5:28 Speaker 1 Alex, I am. 5:29 Speaker 1 I'm not really in my fraud. 5:30 Speaker 1 Oh, I did smoke weed today. 5:31 Speaker 1 I'm about an hour ago and Paul is there. 5:33 Speaker 1 We appreciate it. 5:34 Speaker 1 But anyway, see, he knows what I'm talking about. 5:36 Speaker 1 Like you're trying to get a boner, but you can't. 5:39 Speaker 1 I was surprised you got a boner at six years old. 5:41 Speaker 1 Now, I remember the first time like you sit in the swings, 5:43 Speaker 1 like the swings that had the, we put your legs through, 5:46 Speaker 1 you're like too old for it. 5:47 Speaker 1 We're like, oh, this is funny. 5:48 Speaker 1 I still want to do it. 5:49 Speaker 1 And like your wiener's up there rubbing up against the edge 5:51 Speaker 1 of the swing. 5:52 Speaker 1 And you're like, wow, this feels kind of good. 5:54 Speaker 1 I don't know why you're thinking, I mean, 5:55 Speaker 1 dude, infants can get one. 5:57 Speaker 1 A boner? 5:58 Speaker 1 Yes. 6:00 Speaker 1 I don't think babies can get boners. 6:02 Speaker 1 Yes, it starts when you're born, I think, 6:04 Speaker 1 because you wake up and you just got one, 6:05 Speaker 1 like when you're a year old, it's, it's, 6:07 Speaker 1 you just don't know what it's for. 6:09 Speaker 1 And you're just like, kind of like, what the, 6:11 Speaker 1 but you don't get it. 6:12 Speaker 1 You know, are you happy about it though when you're a baby? 6:16 Speaker 1 Like, you know, I always say that if you get hurt as a baby, 6:19 Speaker 1 you never really got hurt because you don't remember it. 6:21 Speaker 1 But if you get a bonus, a baby, do you know what it means? 6:24 Speaker 1 Like you're just like, oh, no, you definitely don't know what it means, 6:27 Speaker 1 but you have one and you're just, you know, but does it make you, it's just natural? 6:30 Speaker 1 Does that make you happy though? 6:31 Speaker 1 Like, boners nowadays do. 6:33 Speaker 1 I mean, I'd like to think that a baby's happy, you know, they're just like, this is cool. 6:36 Speaker 1 This is new, you know, I mean, there's so many different ways. 6:40 Speaker 1 There's so many questions I could ask you right now, but I'm not going to because I know where you're gonna go 6:44 Speaker 1 And I don't want to go there, but I'm trying to figure out a baby boners 6:48 Speaker 1 I mean you're the one talking about baby boners and I do not think a baby can do that 6:51 Speaker 1 I don't know anybody the chat know of a baby 6:54 Speaker 1 I'm telling you right now 100% yes, they can I'm googling it right now your 6:58 Speaker 1 Because I'm always about to be fun. It's gonna be feds coming to your house. No, I'm not gonna word it 7:02 Speaker 1 I'm gonna word it as 7:05 Speaker 1 Heart on how often do 7:10 Speaker 1 babies. That's any better way to word it. Often the babies get boners dude. We're about 7:16 Speaker 1 to get canceled on YouTube. Look at everybody just stop commenting over here. They're like, 7:19 Speaker 1 hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Okay. Hold on. I'm going to start off with I'm a mom. There 7:24 Speaker 1 you go. That's how you got a word it. All right. Here we go. Shabbos babies babies can get one 7:30 Speaker 1 several times a day. There is no fixed schedule. Duh frequency it varies widely from baby 7:37 Speaker 1 baby, some parents see that they get them almost during every diaper change. That's funny. 7:43 Speaker 1 Um, while others rarely notice them at all, a trigger is something that spontaneously happens 7:49 Speaker 1 during sleep right before or after urination when the bladder is full or from simple touching 7:54 Speaker 1 it and friction during the diaper changes. So see, it's normal, dude. It's just body. 7:59 Speaker 1 I know, man, you said that hard are like you're ready for it. He said trigger. You were just 8:04 Speaker 1 like, man, I can't stop it. Stop it. 8:06 Speaker 1 Trigger a trigger. I just wanted to articulate it and make sure you heard I said trigger. 8:11 Speaker 1 Yeah, I didn't know I'm surprised, you know, your, your knowledge of what age 8:16 Speaker 1 and get boners. I didn't know. Babies should get. I'm telling you, I remember. 8:18 Speaker 1 I remember when I was a boner. 8:20 Speaker 1 Not when I was a baby, but like when I was young, like when I was five or six 8:23 Speaker 1 and I didn't know what to do. And I was like, this is weird, you know, but I mean, 8:27 Speaker 1 I know I had them. I had them all the time because I wore jeans. 8:30 Speaker 1 I never wanted to wear. Oh, so you just like, why my pants always get 8:33 Speaker 1 No sticky and shit over here. What's going on? 8:35 Speaker 1 It didn't. That doesn't happen until you hit puberty. 8:39 Speaker 1 See that doesn't make sense to me. Like, why would you get hard if you can't, you 8:42 Speaker 1 know, shoot the cannon? 8:44 Speaker 1 Why are we talking about this? Why? 8:46 Speaker 1 You brought it up. You're the one that really boners. 8:48 Speaker 1 You brought this up. 8:50 Speaker 1 No, you brought up your life. You get a boner as a baby. 8:53 Speaker 1 I'm pretty sure Michael Germany, if you could check how many times Brandon has 8:57 Speaker 1 said that word on the show, that'd be great because we got stats and I gave 9:00 Speaker 1 baby's boner just boner. Oh, boner in general. Oh, you said 9:04 Speaker 1 boner. Look at that. That not a bad word in your head. I just I 9:07 Speaker 1 can't there's no other okay, I'm sorry, an erection, but that 9:10 Speaker 1 sounds weirder to me. I don't know why you say that it just 9:12 Speaker 1 sounds weird. Oh, I just always think about putting a build 9:15 Speaker 1 up whenever you say erection, like we're killing something. But 9:19 Speaker 1 anyway, now we're we're gonna have old mad dog and big B on 9:23 Speaker 1 here soon. They got some news for us. I don't think it's like 9:27 Speaker 1 bad news for us that like they're like, we looked into 9:30 Speaker 1 some shit and y'all are going to a federal prison. Hopefully that's not what they have 9:33 Speaker 1 to tell us. That'd be great if they didn't. Even more so for Chuck because he's got a 9:37 Speaker 1 job, Marne. He can't even go to the Braves game with me, but we'll get that here in a 9:40 Speaker 1 little bit. Besides the Flintstones today, we also had James Dean died at 24 in a car 9:49 Speaker 1 crash in California. And I'm so glad his brother survived or we would not be able to 9:53 Speaker 1 have those delicious breakfast biscuits. 9:55 Speaker 1 We're not Jimmy Dean is not James Dean's brother. All right. I'm pretty sure he is but you know you want to double check that one 10:02 Speaker 1 I can't 10:04 Speaker 1 You say some things dude just because they have the same last name doesn't mean that there's no way one was a sex symbol 10:11 Speaker 1 One of the greatest actors of all time died at a young agent of car crash and the other one was like you know 10:15 Speaker 1 I'm gonna make sausages. Oh 10:17 Speaker 1 Yeah, they were cousins. They weren't brothers my bad. Okay. I knew they were late it though 10:21 Speaker 1 So yeah, I mean, it's just roles in the family. 10:23 Speaker 1 Now one of them, he said sex symbol James Dean was a sex symbol. 10:28 Speaker 1 Yes, James Dean was arguably one of the biggest sex symbols in the history of America. 10:34 Speaker 1 I don't really even know who the fuck James Dean is. 10:37 Speaker 1 I think he's gorgeous. 10:40 Speaker 1 He's like the most gorgeous guy that ever walked the face of the earth. 10:43 Speaker 1 Yeah, but if you had to choose between James and Jimmy, I mean, I'm going with Jimmy. 10:47 Speaker 1 The breakfast biscuits are just fucking delicious. 10:49 Speaker 1 Well, I mean, of course. 10:50 Speaker 1 Okay, now I got it. Now I got a backtrack. I would obviously choose Jimmy sausage over James's sausage 10:58 Speaker 1 You know what I mean? But I still think it's a trap 11:02 Speaker 1 Did you have a big wiener with the important part what's going on here? No, I'm saying Jimmy Dean 11:07 Speaker 1 Makes sausage for a living. Okay. Yes. Okay. The only sauces James Dean's gonna give you isn't the kind 11:14 Speaker 1 You get for breakfast. You know I'm saying oh 11:16 Speaker 1 Oh, a big old cock. What is wrong with you, dude? Why do you? Why do you? Okay. Jimmy Dean 11:24 Speaker 1 arguably gave more to the back to the world than James did. Oh, yeah. 100%. Yeah. Yeah. 11:30 Speaker 1 I don't know why. What you're talking about blowing James Dean, though. Okay. Can we please? 11:35 Speaker 1 You know what? Let's see what we're all with. Let's see if we would rather have Jimmy Dean 11:38 Speaker 1 or James Dean. Okay. All right. Here we go. Bring in Manny Roy to the stage. We had James 11:44 Speaker 1 James Dean was born to what was named James James James Dean. 11:49 Speaker 1 Dave Dean. Do you know who that is, Manny? Yes, the actor. All right. The time that the 11:54 Speaker 1 time this recording is fucking released. All right. He died. Okay. In a car crash in California 11:59 Speaker 1 on this day back in 1955. I'm saying I'm glad if any of the deans had to die because Jimmy 12:06 Speaker 1 and Jane for cousins, Jimmy made the sausage biscuits James apparently was a text symbol 12:10 Speaker 1 on it an actor. I would say I'm much more happy that Jimmy did not die. I enjoy Jimmy 12:15 Speaker 1 more than I do James. Okay. Sorry. Which one would you prefer if you had to choose one 12:22 Speaker 1 to die? Which one would you have preferred died? The sausage guy probably I like the 12:27 Speaker 1 actors. See I told you and and he likes him. I mean but it's not because just be like 12:33 Speaker 1 you don't like him just because he was a sex symbol you like him because he was an actor 12:36 Speaker 1 right? Yeah, but it's sort of like the cool guy kind of thing, you know, it's before the Marlboro 12:41 Speaker 1 man was a thing and just sitting out there and not giving a shit. Kind of the guy from 90210 12:48 Speaker 1 sort of took his persona before he died in a mysteriously if you remember. Oh yeah, Presley. 12:56 Speaker 1 I don't know what his name was like character was like Luke something or yeah, 13:00 Speaker 1 Luke. Wait, Luke was it Luke Presley? Luke Skywalker shut up. But Brandon tries to make it gay. 13:06 Speaker 1 Like whenever you say things like that, he's like, Oh, well, it's good. 13:09 Speaker 1 You know, it's like, no, we're even said that. 13:11 Speaker 1 You're the one that's talking about the sausage. 13:13 Speaker 1 Cause that's what Jimmy Dean does. 13:15 Speaker 1 He makes great fucking sausage biscuits. 13:16 Speaker 1 I mean, are y'all really going to sit here and argue with me that Jimmy 13:18 Speaker 1 Dean does not make great fucking biscuits. 13:21 Speaker 1 There's lots of good sausage biscuits, but I mean, all you do is put them 13:24 Speaker 1 in the microwave and you're done. 13:26 Speaker 1 Thank you. 13:26 Speaker 1 Thank you. 13:27 Speaker 1 And there will never be another James Dean there. 13:29 Speaker 1 There are 50 Jimmy deans are out there waiting to take his throne. 13:33 Speaker 1 There's not another James Dean. 13:34 Speaker 1 There's never been another James Dean. 13:35 Speaker 1 So what we're saying is he's more important than Jimmy Jimmy 13:38 Speaker 1 Own the fucking throw it. I know it's take them off the fucking throne 13:41 Speaker 1 He'll be king for another 200 years like his fucking breakfast sandwiches will outlive humanity 13:46 Speaker 1 Like we're having nuclear war and you're still be able to find a fucking Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit in the rubble under nuclear 13:52 Speaker 1 Winner, all right, that's just that could you even pick Jimmy Dean out of the lineup if Jimmy Dean walked into a Bob Evans 13:57 Speaker 1 And let's say you're there. You know what he looks like yeah 14:00 Speaker 1 He's got the fucking cowboy hat on and he's like he would be in the morning 14:03 Speaker 1 I never even seen Jimmy Dean. I see him on the fucking package all the time. Are you really? 14:09 Speaker 1 I don't know who Jimmy is. My back's not really there's no picture of Jimmy Dean on the package. 14:15 Speaker 1 Yes, there is. He's sitting there and he's like a silhouette of him as a cowboy. No, it's like that. 14:19 Speaker 1 I would know it was him. I was like, that is Jimmy. Are y'all. Am I like a fucking twilight zone? 14:24 Speaker 1 Like did y'all look in right now? I'm looking right now. I'm looking for a little back in the day. 14:27 Speaker 1 Y'all drive me right by me. Okay. Okay, dumb, dumb. Okay, dumb, dumb. Look, you're telling me. 14:33 Speaker 1 There's a silhouette of Jimmy Dean on that package. That's the new packaging 14:38 Speaker 1 You know they went all gay and liberal and shit because they can't have okay women on there 14:41 Speaker 1 They can't have Uncle Ben on there either. We got rid of them. I don't see y'all y'all don't stand up for them either 14:45 Speaker 1 Damn it. All right, just try to stay away 14:47 Speaker 1 I'm a dad. That's I do too. We've still got a I still got a bottle of serve in my dad's house 14:52 Speaker 1 That I got us in my closet in my room. That's Aunt Jemima is I want to save it to make sure she's not forgotten 14:58 Speaker 1 I've a miss. 14:59 Speaker 1 Oh, God, it's worth that actually had the whole bottle shaped like her. 15:02 Speaker 1 That's talking about this. 15:04 Speaker 1 You remember the hot chick? 15:05 Speaker 1 Now that's way too. 15:06 Speaker 1 Oh, come on. 15:07 Speaker 1 Now you went from like 45 to like 20 sausage. 15:10 Speaker 1 That's for sure. 15:11 Speaker 1 There's no. 15:12 Speaker 1 Oh, I think he's thinking of this. 15:15 Speaker 1 I mean, something like, I'm finding a logo. 15:19 Speaker 1 There's never been a logo with this picture. 15:21 Speaker 1 You're making it up, dude. 15:22 Speaker 1 This is one of those things. 15:23 Speaker 1 What do they call it when you think you remember something like the Shazam movie, but it never 15:27 Speaker 1 happened. 15:28 Speaker 1 never been a frickin Jimmy Dean sausage that had packaged him in this picture. 15:32 Speaker 1 You're making this up because you don't want to admit that James Dean gave 15:35 Speaker 1 mortal America than Jimmy. 15:38 Speaker 1 I don't think so. 15:38 Speaker 1 There was a ring big big big beyond big bees down here waiting. 15:42 Speaker 1 Bring her on. 15:43 Speaker 1 I guarantee you she's not a sausage fan. 15:45 Speaker 1 She does not like sausage. 15:46 Speaker 1 Do you like James Dean Moore or Jimmy Dean? 15:48 Speaker 1 If you had to choose to kill one of them, who would you kill? 15:52 Speaker 1 Um, definitely Jimmy. 15:55 Speaker 1 Oh, okay. 15:58 Speaker 1 I've been thinking I've been Googling for the two minutes I was sitting there because I was thinking it's gonna be my turn to answer next if you had asked me to identify what is on Jimmy Dean I would have said maybe a pig. 16:11 Speaker 1 Would I recognize him in a place didn't know it was a him. 16:15 Speaker 1 Thank you thank you Brandon Brandon that's a picture of a solo of a son. 16:20 Speaker 1 He was 16:22 Speaker 1 It's a commercial 16:24 Speaker 1 The commercial that's what I remember him from he was a friend and said if you walked into a bob Evans 16:28 Speaker 1 He would know it's Jimmy Dean. That's stupid James Dean anybody could recognize even to do hey 16:33 Speaker 1 I'm not going to a bob Evans. Don't even fucking exist anymore. I don't think I don't even know why you thought of that 16:38 Speaker 1 That's not even wrong again. You're wrong. They're all over Michigan 16:42 Speaker 1 Thank you, man. He never goes unless you get sued by some crazy dude actually grandma 16:47 Speaker 1 Anyway, all right. Well, I'm very disappointed y'all not giving a fuck about Jimmy Dean. So 16:55 Speaker 1 Brandon, did you remember the song about Jimmy Dean and James Dean? Do you remember that? 16:59 Speaker 1 The song? No, what was the song? Remember the line that says James Dean? Oh, Jimmy Dean or vice versa. 17:07 Speaker 1 That's part of a pop song. If you Google it, it's there. Somebody Google it for me. 17:11 Speaker 1 I don't know. What is happening? Are you being? Is there really a song that Manny please 17:15 Speaker 1 send it for us. I hear Beth typing away over there. That's just the line at the end. I'm 17:20 Speaker 1 always ready to type away when I'm on here because you're going to ask me about pop culture 17:24 Speaker 1 I know nothing about. So I have to pretend. Is this the song or commercial? 18:41 Speaker 1 It's a song. 18:42 Speaker 1 It's a song. 18:43 Speaker 1 It's a song. 18:44 Speaker 1 It came out in 1950s. 18:45 Speaker 1 Oh my god. 18:46 Speaker 1 What if you're wrong? 18:47 Speaker 1 What if you've got it? 18:48 Speaker 1 Nice. 18:49 Speaker 1 Alright, so, so, uh, Manny, the, the words, Hey, did you rock and roll rock on? 18:54 Speaker 1 Oh, my soul. 18:56 Speaker 1 Hey, did you boogie to did ya? 18:58 Speaker 1 Hey, shout summertime blue. 19:01 Speaker 1 I see the fact against. 19:02 Speaker 1 Um, where's the Jimmy thing? 19:04 Speaker 1 What is going on? 19:05 Speaker 1 Well, you read lyrics still. 19:07 Speaker 1 Yeah, this is there. 19:07 Speaker 1 This is where it mentions it. 19:09 Speaker 1 Still looking for that blue gene baby queen, 19:11 Speaker 1 prettiest girl I ever seen, seeing her shake 19:14 Speaker 1 on a movie screen, Jimmy Dean, James Dean. 19:19 Speaker 1 Right. 19:19 Speaker 1 Cause they're getting the deans wrong. 19:21 Speaker 1 They're going with a sausage man 19:22 Speaker 1 and somebody has to correct him like new. 19:24 Speaker 1 You don't think they're just nick naming James to Jimmy? 19:28 Speaker 1 Cause that's a couple. 19:29 Speaker 1 I can't do that. 19:30 Speaker 1 I think. 19:31 Speaker 1 Yeah, they are cousins and they're related. 19:32 Speaker 1 And I don't think you can do that with like, 19:34 Speaker 1 That'd be like someone nicknamed me Chuck and then it's just like Chuck and Chuck. 19:37 Speaker 1 That'd be bad. 19:38 Speaker 1 It'd make no sense. 19:40 Speaker 1 Manny, did you ever take girls on dates in your car when you were in high school 19:43 Speaker 1 and played them rock on to get them in the mood? 19:46 Speaker 1 I didn't have a car in high school because I wasn't old enough. 19:49 Speaker 1 I mean, it's a reference. 19:50 Speaker 1 It's referencing sausage. 19:51 Speaker 1 I see the innuendo there, you know? 19:53 Speaker 1 Manny's like, hey, you want to hear rock on by David Essex? 19:55 Speaker 1 You're going to love it. 19:57 Speaker 1 It gets to that part. 19:57 Speaker 1 It just turns out like, so what do you like? 19:59 Speaker 1 James or Jim? 20:00 Speaker 1 Do you like that? 20:01 Speaker 1 And this conversation right here happened, fucking 45 years. 20:04 Speaker 1 You know how the lights gonna go. 20:05 Speaker 1 Ha ha ha. 20:07 Speaker 1 Like you are must bring and chicks up the hotel room 20:09 Speaker 1 to watch rocket videos, but. 20:11 Speaker 1 When you have that much money, 20:12 Speaker 1 you can do whatever you want. 20:13 Speaker 1 They'll still be fine. 20:15 Speaker 1 Nice, nice. 20:15 Speaker 1 Well, driving. 20:16 Speaker 1 It sounds like a new version of the mullet, you know, 20:19 Speaker 1 business in the front party in the back. 20:20 Speaker 1 It's like Jimmy in the front, James. 20:23 Speaker 1 Oh, flip it. 20:25 Speaker 1 James in the front. 20:26 Speaker 1 Oh, shut up. 20:27 Speaker 1 Tara's in the car and saying that she loves that song. 20:28 Speaker 1 Don't act like you've ever heard that song you suck up. 20:31 Speaker 1 She's like, oh, man, a good choice. 20:32 Speaker 1 You know you have a favorite song. 20:33 Speaker 1 Nobody has it's been. 20:36 Speaker 1 No way. 20:37 Speaker 1 All right. Well, can I tell you guys something? 20:40 Speaker 1 Yeah, I'm about to say great to have you all both here. 20:41 Speaker 1 It's been a minute. 20:42 Speaker 1 I don't know if you've seen big B in a long time and Manny's very 20:44 Speaker 1 excited to tell us something. 20:45 Speaker 1 So please, man, tell us what's going on. 20:46 Speaker 1 What's different about big B? 20:47 Speaker 1 Look in the picture. 20:49 Speaker 1 Oh my God. 20:49 Speaker 1 You're pregnant. 20:51 Speaker 1 Because I'm glowing. 20:53 Speaker 1 I actually I have a an attorney's glow. 20:58 Speaker 1 OK, wait. 21:01 Speaker 1 I'm not pregnant. 21:02 Speaker 1 Okay, that's all I cared about. 21:03 Speaker 1 I'll just every time somebody says what's new about her. 21:05 Speaker 1 I always say pregnant. 21:06 Speaker 1 Well, Chuck asked me that last week. 21:08 Speaker 1 He's like, I died my beard. 21:09 Speaker 1 Look at it. 21:09 Speaker 1 Except for my chin because it won't work. 21:11 Speaker 1 But, um, dude, I'm sorry. 21:13 Speaker 1 Uh, the Bart sense of pictures the same. 21:15 Speaker 1 I'm looking for something new on the wall. 21:16 Speaker 1 Did you cut my hair also? 21:17 Speaker 1 She just told you she's got an attorney glow. 21:21 Speaker 1 Okay. 21:21 Speaker 1 Well, she just, you know, saying stuff. 21:23 Speaker 1 That's why he said he don't know. 21:24 Speaker 1 That means that's just. 21:26 Speaker 1 Yeah. 21:27 Speaker 1 Brandon, so stupid. 21:29 Speaker 1 I passed the bar. 21:31 Speaker 1 Yeah, look at that. 21:32 Speaker 1 We look at that. 21:35 Speaker 1 We got a pause and we got a lot of common. 21:37 Speaker 1 I was at the bar and you passed the bar pretty much same thing. 21:39 Speaker 1 So congrats, Beth. 21:41 Speaker 1 How did it go? 21:42 Speaker 1 So kind of run us down. 21:43 Speaker 1 How did the preparation? 21:45 Speaker 1 I know I think when we came up at their record, 21:47 Speaker 1 you weren't really doing as much at the office. 21:49 Speaker 1 You were at home studying a whole lot. 21:51 Speaker 1 Just how the process go? 21:52 Speaker 1 I mean, did you go like to a sketchy place? 21:54 Speaker 1 Is it like Bobby Boucher and the water boys 21:56 Speaker 1 got to go in the gym and like do the test or what? 21:58 Speaker 1 Just the whole process just run it down for us. 22:01 Speaker 1 Have you ever been to the convention center near the airport? 22:05 Speaker 1 GWCC. 22:07 Speaker 1 No, I see. 22:10 Speaker 1 G. 22:10 Speaker 1 See, I see. 22:11 Speaker 1 Branding the one downtown by the the old Georgia Dome next to the 22:14 Speaker 1 I am I am seeing in center. 22:16 Speaker 1 I am. 22:17 Speaker 1 Yeah. 22:18 Speaker 1 Uh, no, the one where the Atlanta dream plays the WNBA team, if you know 22:24 Speaker 1 what? 22:24 Speaker 1 What is that? 22:27 Speaker 1 I'm sorry. 22:28 Speaker 1 No love for women sports. I've already talked about men sports before. 22:32 Speaker 1 Okay. Oh, gosh. She passed in the bar. Now she's a feminist. What's going on? 22:36 Speaker 1 No, no, no, timeout. Big B Big B Big B. Name me five WNBA teams. Go. 22:40 Speaker 1 The dream, the wings, the fever, the Falcons, the line. There's no way there's Falcons. 22:51 Speaker 1 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 22:52 Speaker 1 And they all work the stars. 22:56 Speaker 1 Your name and hockey teams and football teams. 22:59 Speaker 1 There's no such thing as the, would you say the Falcons? 23:02 Speaker 1 Well, how would you know? 23:04 Speaker 1 Because I know, because they, I don't think they can do that. 23:07 Speaker 1 They can't steal a real sports names. 23:09 Speaker 1 Anyway, we'll get past women's sports here shortly. 23:12 Speaker 1 Continue at the, that the made up sports team. 23:15 Speaker 1 So where this team plays and where probably a lot of companies, 23:20 Speaker 1 lot of companies have conventions where you have to go fly around from all over the country. 23:26 Speaker 1 And then the only food that served is a pizza hut booth inside the convention center and a 23:33 Speaker 1 Chick-fil-A maybe if it's open. 23:36 Speaker 1 But all 1,200 of us taking the Georgia bar filed into that room sat at folding tables, 23:43 Speaker 1 two at a table packed in there like rats. 23:47 Speaker 1 But we took the bar in there. 23:50 Speaker 1 You asked how studying went studying was pretty terrible, but I am already starting to forget 23:54 Speaker 1 how that felt. 23:56 Speaker 1 Now that I'm in the afterglow of having taken and passed it, I kind of feel invincible for 24:02 Speaker 1 the short period of time. 24:03 Speaker 1 But they seem a lot more confident and a little more mean towards us. 24:07 Speaker 1 You're like, fuck you guys. 24:08 Speaker 1 I'm a real I'm a turkey now. 24:10 Speaker 1 Fuck off. 24:11 Speaker 1 Sorry. 24:12 Speaker 1 Just just wait. 24:13 Speaker 1 It'll it'll fall. 24:14 Speaker 1 I'm sure. 24:15 Speaker 1 Yeah. 24:16 Speaker 1 Is that is the bar pretty much kind of like cramming like six years or seven years worth 24:19 Speaker 1 school in for like one test and then you like forget half of it afterwards and they're like 24:23 Speaker 1 looking stuff up. Yeah, I think so. Nice. And didn't you? And so if I remember correctly, so you 24:30 Speaker 1 you you studied for the bar, you wouldn't took it. And then didn't you like flee the country or 24:34 Speaker 1 something? What'd you do after you passed or you took the exam? Yeah, I was supposed to flee the 24:40 Speaker 1 country. The thing that actually made studying for the bar maybe even worse, so you can feel 24:47 Speaker 1 even more bad for me. My dog got really sick this summer. She is okay now, but she got some crazy 24:54 Speaker 1 bacterial infection. So a couple weeks before the bar, she was kind of on a last leg and then she 25:00 Speaker 1 started to steroid and a steroid will fix almost anything. So that really got her under control, 25:05 Speaker 1 which was good because I was ready to say I'll take the next bar and spend some time with her. 25:10 Speaker 1 but she's good now, but because of that, 25:14 Speaker 1 we had booked a trip to Greece. 25:17 Speaker 1 And yeah, yeah, so we were gonna go to Greece, 25:20 Speaker 1 but we got refundable tickets 25:23 Speaker 1 because we knew that she was kinda sick 25:25 Speaker 1 and we weren't sure about it. 25:28 Speaker 1 So in the future. 25:29 Speaker 1 You canceled your trip to Greece for your dog? 25:32 Speaker 1 We had a dude yesterday. 25:34 Speaker 1 He's paid 9500, so his dog didn't die. 25:38 Speaker 1 It's crazy. 25:39 Speaker 1 you pay for to fix your dogs's bacterial thing? Oh, I haven't 25:43 Speaker 1 added it all up. I stopped counting around 3000. I think 25:47 Speaker 1 what what is she had a surgery? She was popping up lump. So 25:51 Speaker 1 she had a surgery. She got a couple of lumps biopsied. It 25:55 Speaker 1 wasn't cancer. So it was back to the drawing board. Then we 25:58 Speaker 1 thought she had an immune disease of some sort. I became 26:03 Speaker 1 anti-bax for a little while. 26:05 Speaker 1 Um, what's going on? 26:08 Speaker 1 And then it turned out it wasn't an immune disease. 26:11 Speaker 1 It was this bacteria that we found out from doing some PCR tests on the biopsy materials. 26:18 Speaker 1 So that was another $250 test. 26:21 Speaker 1 Um, and that's why I had to stop counting. 26:24 Speaker 1 That's why I didn't go to Greece. 26:25 Speaker 1 That sucks. 26:26 Speaker 1 I was saying yesterday, all our dogs are outside dogs. 26:29 Speaker 1 They lived like 13 years. 26:30 Speaker 1 Do they use a bunch of random dead animals and a bunch of dead? 26:32 Speaker 1 I know a bunch of shit out there, you know, they love horseshit. 26:35 Speaker 1 I think it's good for him to keep them alive and everything. 26:36 Speaker 1 So maybe next time just let them go like a farm and like run around and eat stuff. 26:40 Speaker 1 Yeah, I found out that my dog has almost no survival instinct because we still go 26:46 Speaker 1 on walks and she this bacteria is found in soil and water and it's super rare. 26:51 Speaker 1 But every time we're out on a walk, she's looking for stagnant water and just 26:54 Speaker 1 trying to slurp it up. 26:56 Speaker 1 Nice. Yeah. 26:57 Speaker 1 Let's get a water. 26:58 Speaker 1 I got protein in there. 26:59 Speaker 1 Many of there's been smiling nonstop since Big B's been talking about. 27:02 Speaker 1 Her passing the bar. 27:03 Speaker 1 Manny, how do you feel about this? 27:05 Speaker 1 Well, it helps me out because I had a pretty tough summer going to court more than I ever 27:09 Speaker 1 wanted to in years and not to cover a lot of stuff. 27:13 Speaker 1 But she passed two weeks ago. 27:15 Speaker 1 The results came back and then got sworn in last week. 27:19 Speaker 1 And now we're waiting for the federal court to swear her in hopefully next week. 27:23 Speaker 1 And then maybe we'll just let her off the leash and go by herself to some of these court 27:27 Speaker 1 things. 27:28 Speaker 1 Do you know any because I, you know, I have kids, young kids. 27:31 Speaker 1 And they bring me their homework. 27:33 Speaker 1 And my daughter now is in eighth grade, 27:35 Speaker 1 and I don't really try anymore. 27:37 Speaker 1 I can't. 27:38 Speaker 1 The math and stuff like that. 27:40 Speaker 1 When did you take the bar, Manny? 27:42 Speaker 1 What year did you take and pass the bar? 27:45 Speaker 1 1994. 27:46 Speaker 1 So do you think right now, if we scheduled you 27:51 Speaker 1 to go back and do a retake of the bar? 27:53 Speaker 1 Which I'm guessing you can do, right? 27:54 Speaker 1 Like anybody can pay, and if you only 27:56 Speaker 1 would've been to school, take it. 27:57 Speaker 1 Do you think you would pass? 28:02 Speaker 1 It'd be close. 28:03 Speaker 1 Because you have to learn all this obscure shit about wills and property law and stuff like that that I haven't thought about since 1994. 28:11 Speaker 1 Yeah. 28:12 Speaker 1 But you never know. I mean, we have a curve and, you know, we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings by failing them. So they figure some stuff out. 28:19 Speaker 1 They do. 28:20 Speaker 1 They do curves on the bar exam. So like, if everyone in there's a fucking idiot and they get like 70, like, what? 28:27 Speaker 1 It's not curved. It's it's scaled. It's scaled. 28:30 Speaker 1 Was that bad? 28:31 Speaker 1 Listen to me. She's like it's not sure then I failed guys. I did really good 28:37 Speaker 1 Everybody in the room was stupid except for me. So they scaled it down 28:40 Speaker 1 Okay, we all got 72, but really we got a hundred and five 28:45 Speaker 1 It's a D average is what you need 28:49 Speaker 1 Crazy what do you so what scale mean like is everyone's like doing bad on the test? 28:53 Speaker 1 They're just like we can't have all these people fail. We need to turn so they just bump it up some 28:57 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's like they they take it according to there's two days of bar exam the first day is all essays 29:04 Speaker 1 The second day is the multiple choice day the multiple choice day is the bar that's taken across the country 29:11 Speaker 1 The essay day is just Georgia. So how everybody in Georgia? 29:18 Speaker 1 Scores on the essay day. That's what they scaled the score of 29:23 Speaker 1 the 29:24 Speaker 1 Multiple choice day two. So really it's basically that they curve the essay day and then they scale the multiple choices 29:32 Speaker 1 Like they like if I just can't write shit worth a damn they can select ABC or D. I tell you that 29:38 Speaker 1 Do you do you guys know what you're? 29:40 Speaker 1 Everybody got a 10 across the board they'd all pass because it just gets scaled down 90 points or whatever yet 29:45 Speaker 1 So that's my question with with B like when you graduate when you graduate when you passed 29:49 Speaker 1 asked, did they tell you like, hey, this was, this is your score. 29:54 Speaker 1 And this is what you had to get. 29:56 Speaker 1 Did they tell you that? 29:57 Speaker 1 Mm hmm. 29:58 Speaker 1 Yeah. 29:59 Speaker 1 Okay. 30:00 Speaker 1 So, I mean, you want to know it. 30:02 Speaker 1 I'm just saying. 30:03 Speaker 1 I'm wondering why. 30:04 Speaker 1 Of course. 30:05 Speaker 1 The maximum score that you could get is 400 points. 30:08 Speaker 1 I got 315. 30:09 Speaker 1 Okay. 30:10 Speaker 1 Not the best credit score. 30:12 Speaker 1 the second day I scored a 155 and the first day of 165 or something whatever that comes out to. 30:25 Speaker 1 Yeah he's 200. So all of them combines to make the 400 score. 30:31 Speaker 1 They make it complicated to see even understand if you pass or not. 30:33 Speaker 1 What these are like zero to 100. What the fuck are we doing here? 30:37 Speaker 1 Yeah. 30:38 Speaker 1 SAT does that shit too like oh you can get fucking 1500 points and you get 400 for writing your name because we know 30:43 Speaker 1 You're retarded. So here you go 30:46 Speaker 1 Football team man 30:50 Speaker 1 Started with congratulations, so really I only had to read that much and then I went back and 30:56 Speaker 1 Figured eyes. Oh, it's crazy. It's crazy. So Manny. Do you remember what you had to score? 31:00 Speaker 1 Was it the same as big B or did you have to score higher than her? No, it was I? 31:05 Speaker 1 I don't know, it was like 160 or something like that, or 200 was the max back then. 31:11 Speaker 1 And I took it while I was still in law school. 31:14 Speaker 1 Back then they would let you take it early. 31:16 Speaker 1 So if you graduated in May, you could take it in February. 31:18 Speaker 1 So you'd go to class and then at night you'd study for the bar exam, you know, weekends. 31:23 Speaker 1 And it worked out. 31:24 Speaker 1 So I got my results in April past and graduated in May and started my job at the end of May. 31:30 Speaker 1 Wow. 31:31 Speaker 1 Can anybody in the world, I mean, Americans, can they, can I, can I, can I, can I, can 31:35 Speaker 1 Can I just like go sign up for the bar and just take this fucker? 31:38 Speaker 1 No, you have to have an accredited school or like if you're in California, 31:42 Speaker 1 you've got to do your apprenticeship with some lawyers and stuff like that. 31:46 Speaker 1 You can't just take it because you feel like it. 31:48 Speaker 1 What if you get a Mexico? 31:50 Speaker 1 Oh, Mexican lawyer. 31:52 Speaker 1 Yeah, but if you're overseas, we've had lots of like Ed Emery. 31:56 Speaker 1 They have a lot of international students that are lawyers. 31:58 Speaker 1 They'll come. 31:58 Speaker 1 It's like a one year program they have to do. 32:01 Speaker 1 And then they take a modified version of the bar or if they do well enough, they'll wave them in or something like that. But because you have to know the law here. 32:10 Speaker 1 I mean, I just China, it's not exactly going to make sense, you know. 32:15 Speaker 1 But I could just hang out like your law office, the rural law firm. I just hang out there for three weeks and then I could go take it. 32:20 Speaker 1 Well, it's like a couple of years. If you look up Kim Kran as she tried to do that thing, where you like apprenticeship under somebody for, 32:27 Speaker 1 you know, two or three years, which I don't know how she would do because she's always like 32:32 Speaker 1 in her exercise clothes going to Paris or something. But if you do that in California, 32:37 Speaker 1 you can take the bar. Oh, some California, you really don't have to 32:40 Speaker 1 hardly do anything and you can just do it over there. That's why it's out of the state 32:44 Speaker 1 turned all fuck because all their attorneys are just idiots. 32:46 Speaker 1 There's a lot of smart ones out there. I mean, they do have, you know, Berkeley and 32:51 Speaker 1 Stanford and UCLA and Southern Cal. I mean, there's some good law schools are 32:56 Speaker 1 They fucking suck in football though. I'll tell you that anyway. 32:59 Speaker 1 Before we met in scene, don't play Oregon. It doesn't go well. 33:02 Speaker 1 But they Stanford then worked up on the Georgia Tech Boys. 33:05 Speaker 1 I hated to see that, but they did. 33:07 Speaker 1 I hated to see it, but it's just pathetic. 33:09 Speaker 1 I mean, until we spend some money, we're just going to. 33:11 Speaker 1 And how do you get pretty much? How do you be by fucking trees? 33:14 Speaker 1 That didn't make sense. 33:15 Speaker 1 Three should that be able to type up all? 33:17 Speaker 1 It's like cardinal. 33:18 Speaker 1 I don't know why their mascot is a tree, but it's a Stanford cardinal. 33:23 Speaker 1 Like one. 33:24 Speaker 1 It's one of those trivia questions like how many teams 33:26 Speaker 1 in the tree like it's in the individual. 33:28 Speaker 1 Yeah. 33:29 Speaker 1 There's a cardinal in the tree that we were telling me. 33:31 Speaker 1 If you look, most of us. 33:33 Speaker 1 I haven't seen it. 33:34 Speaker 1 Talk to Mike and shit up. 33:34 Speaker 1 Look at that. 33:35 Speaker 1 I'm trying to get to big B here. 33:36 Speaker 1 You guys. 33:37 Speaker 1 I am too. 33:37 Speaker 1 I am too. 33:38 Speaker 1 I am too. 33:38 Speaker 1 So real quick, because I don't know if you've gotten the case yet. 33:43 Speaker 1 I don't know what your caseload is. 33:44 Speaker 1 You're all from the world law firm. 33:46 Speaker 1 But I do want to discuss one legal case with you. 33:48 Speaker 1 And it is quite possibly the most polarizing case in America. 33:52 Speaker 1 You know where I'm going with this, right? 33:54 Speaker 1 The young lady that killed her three children. 33:57 Speaker 1 Oh, let's be. 33:58 Speaker 1 And you had a hung jury because of the one holdout juror. 34:03 Speaker 1 My question to you, right? 34:06 Speaker 1 If you were defending her, 34:08 Speaker 1 let's say you were on her defense team, 34:10 Speaker 1 now you're the bomb, right? 34:12 Speaker 1 You don't have to listen to Manny 34:14 Speaker 1 because you can do run a case any way you want. 34:17 Speaker 1 How do you handle that situation? 34:19 Speaker 1 Do you try to attack the juror the way 34:21 Speaker 1 that attorney did, do you say, I don't know what to do 34:24 Speaker 1 because this chick is guilty? 34:26 Speaker 1 Like, what are your thoughts on that case 34:27 Speaker 1 and how would you have done differently 34:29 Speaker 1 now that you're an attorney? 34:30 Speaker 1 Don't forget he's a black guy. 34:33 Speaker 1 Well, first, let me say, 34:36 Speaker 1 I am so glad you brought this up. 34:39 Speaker 1 I was hoping you would and that I wouldn't have to. 34:43 Speaker 1 And second, I, that trial was just at the perfect time for me 34:48 Speaker 1 at the perfect time for me that I finished the bar, I didn't go to Greece and I wasn't working yet 34:56 Speaker 1 and I was doing some weekend trips but really I took on the role of being part of the defense 35:04 Speaker 1 team from my own house while I wasn't working. So as a member of that team from the sidelines, 35:11 Speaker 1 I would say how to handle it now. 35:16 Speaker 1 I mean, I think he's doing a great job of handling it now. 35:20 Speaker 1 He's arguing all the ways he can. 35:22 Speaker 1 I do think that the best theory of the case 35:28 Speaker 1 is the insanity defense, so no criminal responsibility, 35:33 Speaker 1 but I think it is good to now say 35:37 Speaker 1 the evidence wasn't sufficient 35:40 Speaker 1 Because there was a mistrial, I think that that's good reason to say, 35:43 Speaker 1 hey, the jury is hung, reasonable people that were selected for this jury, 35:49 Speaker 1 qualified jurors that were selected for this jury were not able to reach a verdict, 35:55 Speaker 1 which is proof that there was reasonable doubt. 35:59 Speaker 1 They deliberated for six or seven days. 36:03 Speaker 1 What, what, what, what is, what is a qualified jerk? 36:06 Speaker 1 They only just pull random fucking people and be like, Hey, 36:08 Speaker 1 You're going to take a month of your life and just listen to all this. 36:11 Speaker 1 Well, yeah, but you get a pool of people who get called your first call and then you're 36:17 Speaker 1 asked a bunch of questions. 36:19 Speaker 1 You're disqualified for certain reasons. 36:21 Speaker 1 If you have bias in the case, if you say you can't be fair and impartial. 36:25 Speaker 1 So it's all of those jurors who were seated plus the six alternates. 36:30 Speaker 1 They answered that, yes, I'm available for this month plus long trial. 36:36 Speaker 1 I will be fair and impartial. 36:38 Speaker 1 I can look at the evidence and wait to make a decision. 36:40 Speaker 1 So that's what qualifies the juror. 36:43 Speaker 1 So take your attorney hat off for a minute. 36:46 Speaker 1 And I'm just curious, do you think she's guilty 36:50 Speaker 1 or do you think that she should have been found insane? 36:55 Speaker 1 Insane. 36:56 Speaker 1 Oh God, damn it. 36:58 Speaker 1 Do you? 36:59 Speaker 1 Oh God. 37:01 Speaker 1 Do you think somebody else did it? 37:04 Speaker 1 No, no, not at all. 37:05 Speaker 1 We think me and Brandon both agreed that she did it. 37:07 Speaker 1 And I just think three meditatively did it. 37:10 Speaker 1 And she was not insane. 37:11 Speaker 1 I just think it's a kind of a slippery slope to say whenever you feel like you're 37:15 Speaker 1 sad or whatnot, you just start killing your children. 37:17 Speaker 1 I just feel like it's kind of a slippery slope. 37:18 Speaker 1 We probably shouldn't, uh, you know, encourage that. 37:21 Speaker 1 Cause ever since the case came out, I think there's been like four or five more 37:23 Speaker 1 cases of women, uh, be like, Oh my God, she lost. 37:26 Speaker 1 I'm going to kill my kid too. 37:27 Speaker 1 You know, and, uh, it makes you almost want to give your kid like a, uh, nine 37:30 Speaker 1 millimeter when he's born. 37:32 Speaker 1 What? 37:33 Speaker 1 Protect what I would have protected 37:39 Speaker 1 Okay, Manny, you mean we are very 37:42 Speaker 1 You're being very quiet up there 37:45 Speaker 1 Okay 37:49 Speaker 1 Shot at the president gentlemen 37:52 Speaker 1 1981 he's talking about he's taught John 37:58 Speaker 1 Was the last time the insanity defense in almost 30 years had worked on just about 38:04 Speaker 1 anything. I've been at this 33 years. I've had two not guilty by reason in 38:10 Speaker 1 Sanderties and they were like batshit crazy. One had just gotten out of the 38:13 Speaker 1 psychiatric facility over her family's objection. She goes home and within two 38:18 Speaker 1 days murders her mom because she thinks the mom was possessed by something and 38:22 Speaker 1 she murdered her in some ritualistic kind of way and then runs into the lake 38:27 Speaker 1 in the neighborhood naked thinking she's gonna cross over to the other side and 38:30 Speaker 1 even the state's doctors who think everybody's competent, you know, agreed. It is incredibly rare 38:38 Speaker 1 to get somebody that doesn't know right from wrong. And so in this case 11 people said she was 38:43 Speaker 1 not guilty by reason, the insanity doesn't mean you go free. You go to a medical, for lack of a 38:51 Speaker 1 better word of prison, essentially you're held there. And once a year the judge reviews the 38:55 Speaker 1 doctor's reports and stuff to see if you're close to being better. And in Hinckley's case, 39:00 Speaker 1 it took him 30 years before they released him and said he would be sane enough. 39:04 Speaker 1 Maybe with this lady, it doesn't take as long. But it was just one guy that held out, said, 39:09 Speaker 1 I didn't believe that she knew what she was doing, but I just can't let it go. 39:13 Speaker 1 And so, you know, there's just that one. 39:15 Speaker 1 As an attorney, 39:16 Speaker 1 Manny, as an attorney, and you can put your attorney hat on or off for this. I have to ask the question 39:21 Speaker 1 because I think when we all found out the hold out juror was a black dude and he was the only 39:26 Speaker 1 person of color on the jury. What was your reaction to that? As an attorney, do you secretly in 39:34 Speaker 1 the courtroom go respect? Like even if you're the defense, good job, baby. You know, like, 39:40 Speaker 1 what is your thoughts on that? Because I think it means a lot. 39:43 Speaker 1 My thought has historically been because we mostly defend African American people or 39:48 Speaker 1 trials. I don't want any older black gentlemen on the case historically for me. They've been 39:53 Speaker 1 the worst. Middle age white women, ideal. There's another big piece of the continent. There's 40:01 Speaker 1 another continent in the country in the world where you don't want those people either because 40:06 Speaker 1 they're very biased against African Americans. No, not Africa. Oh, Mexican Mexico. Mexican 40:11 Speaker 1 hate Africans. That's right. Right. There's nothing else that also dislikes them historically 40:19 Speaker 1 Indian for brother 40:23 Speaker 1 So yeah, I don't want those people on their like older black men have been historically 40:29 Speaker 1 My arch nemesis. I've had more quittles taken away from me by those guys 40:33 Speaker 1 Then I can shake a stick at them. So what is the reason I was just gonna ask that? 40:37 Speaker 1 Yeah, are they jealous or like my kid doing everything I want to do and I got caught and I had to go to prison 40:41 Speaker 1 I want to send this guy to prison. Their position's always been we fought 40:44 Speaker 1 You know to do all this and give you opportunities and you guys are out there 40:47 Speaker 1 talking about hoes and this and that and I'm sorry it's husband right there no no I love 40:56 Speaker 1 what you say hoes man just keep saying that all right all right big B so what I'm hearing 41:02 Speaker 1 from Matt dog Mandy right now is if I commit a crime I immediately need to act as crazy 41:07 Speaker 1 as fucking possible like take a shit like an upper decker in the toilet or do it in the 41:11 Speaker 1 sink or like you'll run around the street naked or just start hollering shit and then 41:15 Speaker 1 I can maybe get off insanity with that help my attorney. 41:18 Speaker 1 Now that there's a black dude on the jury, you have to prove that you were 41:22 Speaker 1 insane or unable to recognize right from wrong at the time. 41:28 Speaker 1 So I don't know, maybe record yourself doing crazy doing something crazy while 41:32 Speaker 1 you do the crime, but you probably shouldn't. 41:35 Speaker 1 I record my credit all the time, but I just, 41:38 Speaker 1 but that's like if you got drunk and you did some crazy, you got to have a, 41:41 Speaker 1 you got to set this stage up. 41:43 Speaker 1 If you want to murder Chuck, for the next two years, 41:45 Speaker 1 just do bizarre, weird shit that people are out there. 41:48 Speaker 1 So when we show up at the Christmas party 41:50 Speaker 1 and you accidentally just stab Chuck in the face 12 times 41:53 Speaker 1 and then run out in the street naked, 41:55 Speaker 1 there'll be a history to show 41:56 Speaker 1 that he wasn't quite competent all the way through. 41:59 Speaker 1 Nah, me and Brandon talked about this. 42:00 Speaker 1 There's no chance that one of us don't die on, 42:03 Speaker 1 like live on the show. 42:04 Speaker 1 We know that's gonna happen 42:05 Speaker 1 and we're just gonna continue the show 42:07 Speaker 1 and then we'll call 911 afterwards. 42:09 Speaker 1 Yeah, I'm worried about getting swatted 42:11 Speaker 1 and getting shot by this window over here. 42:12 Speaker 1 like a crazy fucker because I say a lot of shit online and people sometimes get mad. 42:16 Speaker 1 I'm just playing me for it. Yeah, because Chuck's the only the only real adult here unless 42:20 Speaker 1 Man is here. Now that's a real adult too. She's an attorney. So they're fault. 42:24 Speaker 1 I'm just worried about your backyard with the gasoline in there. I thought you just burn 42:28 Speaker 1 yourself all to a crisp, you know, trying to be funny. They're just talking about me for a 42:31 Speaker 1 second when I do flamethrower. But yeah, Chuck said his whole yard on fire with a flamethrower. 42:35 Speaker 1 So yeah, he got to be with the birds. I think you frying a turkey and killing yourself 42:40 Speaker 1 of Thanksgiving. I bought that stupid infomercial flamethrower for weeds and I got it in the 42:44 Speaker 1 mulch is bad. I'm gonna burn my whole house down stupid. He's got a break my dick and 42:49 Speaker 1 sit out there. And the nephew has one of those like that's supposed to help you start like 42:53 Speaker 1 the fire pit. Yes, that's what it is. That's what it himself on fire at our house like 42:58 Speaker 1 a year ago. And I'm just like you can buy this shit. I mean it is it's like a be crank 43:03 Speaker 1 it up and then he just shoot it. Yeah, it's like a torch kind of thing. It carries it. 43:09 Speaker 1 Hold it. It holds like a whole propane tank like a small propane tank. And it's a long 43:14 Speaker 1 guy. Just jack it up and you shoot it and it shoots flames and he's using it to turn 43:18 Speaker 1 on the grill and all kinds of dumb stuff. He eventually sets himself sort of on fire. 43:22 Speaker 1 Oh, playing with fire. Playing with fire. Awesome. Playing with fire and driving or 43:28 Speaker 1 fun things to do. But you gotta be really careful about it. You know, really. I don't 43:32 Speaker 1 to donate to one of them. 43:33 Speaker 1 But, okay, before you guys get out of here, I just got to know because now we've opened 43:36 Speaker 1 this question to you guys, being attorneys and now knowing about the Clancy trial, the 43:41 Speaker 1 holdout juror. 43:42 Speaker 1 When you guys are picking a jury and you've got to defend, what you're saying is, it's 43:46 Speaker 1 called striking, right? 43:47 Speaker 1 Isn't that what it's called when you get rid of a potential juror? 43:49 Speaker 1 You strike them? 43:50 Speaker 1 It was essentially trying to get white. 43:53 Speaker 1 No, you try to get rid of as many people of color as possible, correct? 43:58 Speaker 1 That would be what you guys would try to do if you want to try to defend somebody because 44:01 Speaker 1 they're typically more likely to say guilty. 44:04 Speaker 1 Is that right? 44:05 Speaker 1 Because that's how I think it is. 44:06 Speaker 1 And I think that's quite- 44:07 Speaker 1 Historically, prosecutors want as many white people 44:10 Speaker 1 on there and they kick off all the black people. 44:12 Speaker 1 And so that's, it's called a batson issue 44:16 Speaker 1 where you're doing it for racial reasons. 44:19 Speaker 1 Historically, the defense lawyers want black people. 44:21 Speaker 1 Minorities are staying on there. 44:22 Speaker 1 The prosecutors want all the minorities off. 44:25 Speaker 1 Oh, defense lawyers want all the white people off. 44:27 Speaker 1 I just don't see it that way. 44:29 Speaker 1 Historically, I don't want older African American males, 44:32 Speaker 1 especially in a couple of the races that Brendan referenced, 44:36 Speaker 1 he might actually have been correct on. 44:38 Speaker 1 I don't want them on there. 44:39 Speaker 1 So. 44:41 Speaker 1 And then, and then the more recent trend is you want 44:47 Speaker 1 guilt ridden liberal white women. 44:50 Speaker 1 Oh God. 44:51 Speaker 1 Oh, cause they feel like they're fault. 44:52 Speaker 1 They're out there like, they're outside like, 44:54 Speaker 1 I want to straighten my kid too. 44:56 Speaker 1 Some more men think clients out. 44:57 Speaker 1 No, I mean, 44:59 Speaker 1 I mean, we feel guilty in we're gonna wear and correct any of our being racist ever. 45:07 Speaker 1 So we're gonna be just... 45:08 Speaker 1 Why are you saying we? 45:09 Speaker 1 Big B don't say we. 45:10 Speaker 1 You're one of them? 45:12 Speaker 1 We as a collective of culture. 45:15 Speaker 1 Wait, are you a little bit racist? 45:17 Speaker 1 What do you say Brandon? 45:18 Speaker 1 I can't hear you. 45:21 Speaker 1 I said, are you a little bit racist? 45:24 Speaker 1 I mean, you have to be at the whole conversation right here. 45:26 Speaker 1 Obviously, we're all a little bit racist. 45:27 Speaker 1 I mean, y'all are striking that. 45:28 Speaker 1 No one does. 45:29 Speaker 1 Yeah, I think we don't want Indians or Mexicans. 45:31 Speaker 1 No, I'm a racist. 45:33 Speaker 1 I'm going to come to that. 45:34 Speaker 1 I'm I'm oh yeah. 45:35 Speaker 1 Internally. 45:36 Speaker 1 Yeah. 45:37 Speaker 1 Yeah. 45:37 Speaker 1 Look at that. 45:38 Speaker 1 See, I'm buying that. 45:39 Speaker 1 I'm going to miss to it because it's not a bad thing. 45:41 Speaker 1 All right. 45:41 Speaker 1 If you treat people bad, that's one thing. 45:43 Speaker 1 But racism, different races act differently. 45:45 Speaker 1 So you got to acknowledge that. 45:46 Speaker 1 And I'm glad manly. 45:47 Speaker 1 Just keep it in here. 45:49 Speaker 1 Just mess this up one trial so far 45:50 Speaker 1 as you could explain the jurors that we had, 45:52 Speaker 1 including the alternates, which happened to be what? 45:55 Speaker 1 an older black guy and how is he going to vote? 45:59 Speaker 1 Gilsey is sent. 46:01 Speaker 1 Hey, like just give her a couple of trials. 46:03 Speaker 1 She'll be a racist as hell. 46:04 Speaker 1 She'll be wearing a rebel flag and everything on here. 46:07 Speaker 1 I don't think she's going that way. 46:09 Speaker 1 I don't think she's going. 46:10 Speaker 1 We're defending African Americans by taking off older African 46:12 Speaker 1 Americans. 46:13 Speaker 1 So does the racism like negate itself? 46:16 Speaker 1 Yeah, I think that's I think that's a good thing. 46:18 Speaker 1 I think what? 46:20 Speaker 1 They kill each other. 46:21 Speaker 1 I don't know. 46:22 Speaker 1 No, he's talking about protecting the younger African Americans 46:25 Speaker 1 by taking off the older African Americans, 46:26 Speaker 1 because the African Americans, the older ones, 46:28 Speaker 1 are gonna find them guilty. 46:30 Speaker 1 So I think that's killing them. 46:30 Speaker 1 Pretty much killing them. 46:31 Speaker 1 He's using it to his favor to get his client free. 46:36 Speaker 1 So no, I think it's good. 46:37 Speaker 1 I just think this conversation is very interesting. 46:39 Speaker 1 Watching the entire thing I did to be, 46:41 Speaker 1 I watched a lot of it once I started seeing it going, 46:43 Speaker 1 I started seeing all this uproar by, like you said, 46:46 Speaker 1 middle-aged white women that are definitely pushing 46:49 Speaker 1 the liberal agenda and they are like, 46:51 Speaker 1 feeling a certain way about the current state 46:53 Speaker 1 of the United States, right? 46:54 Speaker 1 you know, they certainly, the culture that we currently have. 46:57 Speaker 1 So I just thought it was interesting 46:58 Speaker 1 because I think it's gonna change the dynamic going forward, 47:01 Speaker 1 especially with what you guys do 47:03 Speaker 1 and how you choose juries. 47:04 Speaker 1 Cause I think this dude, Manny, 47:07 Speaker 1 this dude just put in the limelight 47:09 Speaker 1 what you've been saying, right? 47:10 Speaker 1 I mean, I can't even imagine being in a room 47:13 Speaker 1 with all those Massachusetts women 47:15 Speaker 1 and holding the line for that long. 47:17 Speaker 1 This dude deserves a congressional medal of honor 47:20 Speaker 1 even if he, whatever way he went, 47:21 Speaker 1 just cause he went through that, I feel sorry for him. 47:24 Speaker 1 But he is my. 47:25 Speaker 1 He's just go with the dickhead middle of honor because I mean, the juror said he didn't 47:28 Speaker 1 think that the lady meant to do it, but he just was not going to let it go. 47:32 Speaker 1 I love it. 47:33 Speaker 1 It's just a lot of belligerent to be belligerent. 47:35 Speaker 1 You know, the guy that drives in the left lane at 45 miles an hour and gives everybody 47:38 Speaker 1 the birds that go around me. 47:40 Speaker 1 Yeah, part of it. 47:41 Speaker 1 And we still give them fucking licenses. 47:42 Speaker 1 Like the same thing with the jury like that's what big B said qualified to really 47:45 Speaker 1 either just random fucking people. 47:46 Speaker 1 They're just hearing stories. 47:48 Speaker 1 They're like, I don't like that or I like this or I don't like that. 47:50 Speaker 1 They're just like, guilty, not guilty. 47:52 Speaker 1 Fuck off. 47:53 Speaker 1 Fuck you. 47:54 Speaker 1 Brandon, that's how we change the system. 47:56 Speaker 1 I'm putting this out there. 47:56 Speaker 1 Anybody that's listening to the show right now, 47:58 Speaker 1 if you get selected for jury duty 47:59 Speaker 1 and you get put on a jury, no matter what, 48:03 Speaker 1 whatever the consensus is, you go against it. 48:05 Speaker 1 And as soon as you change their minds 48:06 Speaker 1 and they all go the opposite way, 48:08 Speaker 1 you change your mind back, right? 48:09 Speaker 1 And you cause hung juries. 48:11 Speaker 1 If we cause enough hung juries, 48:13 Speaker 1 we can all get out of jury duty. 48:14 Speaker 1 That's what needs to happen. 48:15 Speaker 1 We gotta stand up for ourselves. 48:17 Speaker 1 If jury duty's super important, 48:19 Speaker 1 I mean, that's what the whole country's sort of based on. 48:21 Speaker 1 There's like these amendments on it. 48:22 Speaker 1 Just watch 12 every bit. 48:23 Speaker 1 to get paid for that, Manny. How much did you get paid? I get paid a lot. No, how much does it 48:28 Speaker 1 drugs paid? Like $30 a day plus $30 a day, dude. That is criminal. 48:35 Speaker 1 Money's a whole not that it was it was 50 a day in Colorado when I lived there. Criminal 48:42 Speaker 1 criminal. I would I would honestly be on a jury and just like I would hear these people in there 48:46 Speaker 1 and they would say like, I'm gonna lose my house because I can't work because I'm getting $40 a day 48:50 Speaker 1 I'm a hell yeah, but keep this going as long as I can 48:54 Speaker 1 Or they start charging or they start paying you like 500 a day and Brandon gets on a jury and no matter what happens 49:00 Speaker 1 He's like, I'll be honest with you guys. I just cannot decide. We're gonna need to see that evidence again 49:04 Speaker 1 It's like 30 days later Brandon's like I'm gonna need to hear something else 49:08 Speaker 1 I mean that that's the way I would go they need to pay them right 49:11 Speaker 1 Most murder trials last a week or less so it's not exactly a huge deal 49:16 Speaker 1 But we all have to if I can pay six dollars for gas we can sacrifice a little for jury duty 49:21 Speaker 1 Would you try a case would you try a case for $30 a day Manny? 49:25 Speaker 1 I've done it stop about the end. I like how 49:31 Speaker 1 For a couple of cases Beth knows what I'm talking about she's like there goes my race 49:38 Speaker 1 Manny's only paying six dollars for gas because you got to put premium is D wagon alright. That's why yeah 49:43 Speaker 1 That's the problem. Manny's got one of those nice cars 49:44 Speaker 1 The poor so it only takes premium in the G and the jet takes jet fuel 49:56 Speaker 1 We gotta get these fuel prices down these helicopter bills are fucking killing me I try to go to fuck 50:01 Speaker 1 Chick-fil-a then the helicopter and I know where to lay up what the fuck is going on with America 50:04 Speaker 1 So sorry your honor 50:06 Speaker 1 I got a little delayed when I was flying my helicopter to court this morning 50:09 Speaker 1 I apologize and all the jurors were like today. I hate this guy. I hate him 50:13 Speaker 1 I don't know what it was. 50:14 Speaker 1 They're like 50 bucks a day. 50:15 Speaker 1 You three black guys over 50 get the fuck out. 50:17 Speaker 1 Don't touch my helicopter on the way out of either. 50:24 Speaker 1 You know, scratch it. 50:25 Speaker 1 Just bad. 50:26 Speaker 1 What do you need to be a ballet? 50:29 Speaker 1 Anyway, now that he is here as an actual attorney here at the Royal Law Firm, how does 50:37 Speaker 1 her workload differ now that she's I mean, what was she even doing before? 50:41 Speaker 1 where she's just like sweeping stuff 50:42 Speaker 1 and just like running papers and... 50:44 Speaker 1 Yeah, was she even getting paid? 50:45 Speaker 1 She was in our office too, 50:47 Speaker 1 and she would don't want to do 50:47 Speaker 1 and shit when we were there. 50:48 Speaker 1 I thought she was an intern. 50:50 Speaker 1 I don't know. 50:51 Speaker 1 It was. 50:52 Speaker 1 Oh, where are you? 50:53 Speaker 1 You were paid intern, right? 50:55 Speaker 1 Yeah, and there were a couple of semesters 50:57 Speaker 1 where I got school credit too. 50:59 Speaker 1 Oh, sweet. 51:00 Speaker 1 So now you're getting... 51:00 Speaker 1 So now you're getting... 51:01 Speaker 1 It was a good deal. 51:02 Speaker 1 There were a couple of classes I didn't have to take. 51:03 Speaker 1 Did you get a contract now? 51:04 Speaker 1 I mean, are you under contract? 51:06 Speaker 1 Like, Manny sat you down like you're in a fall quarterback 51:08 Speaker 1 and gave you an offer and you were like, 51:10 Speaker 1 Yeah, I'm really. Oh, to your work. Yeah. 51:12 Speaker 1 Manny passed me a napkin on the table and I added four zeros and slid it back. 51:20 Speaker 1 And we have to win. 51:21 Speaker 1 Do you do you guys and Manny, you don't want to, but I'm very curious now. 51:25 Speaker 1 So this is her first like, you know, season, if you will, as an attorney, 51:29 Speaker 1 is there something in her contract where she wins X amount of cases, 51:33 Speaker 1 she gets a bonus or if she loses X amount of cases and she loses money, 51:37 Speaker 1 She loses money just like just like if you were a pro athlete. 51:40 Speaker 1 I mean, is that something you guys do as attorneys or you say, look, I'm going to give you a 51:44 Speaker 1 salary. 51:45 Speaker 1 Do good things. 51:46 Speaker 1 How does that work? 51:47 Speaker 1 It's just a salary. 51:48 Speaker 1 Do good things. 51:49 Speaker 1 If I baked it on wins, most of our wins, you're not going to go to trial and win that off. 51:54 Speaker 1 And it's just a rare, rare thing to get a full on acquittal. 51:58 Speaker 1 So usually if you work really hard, you'll get a sweetheart deal and the case will work 52:00 Speaker 1 itself out occasionally. 52:02 Speaker 1 You'll get a dismissal. 52:03 Speaker 1 So if she was waiting on salary bumps and bonuses for that, there'd be few and four. 52:07 Speaker 1 far between. As long as you can try your best and the clients are happy with you and they 52:12 Speaker 1 know that you did well and I get good reviews owner, then you're going to get 10-15% more 52:18 Speaker 1 every year. 52:19 Speaker 1 Oh wow, that's a good bonus. Do you give it to your Christmas? 52:22 Speaker 1 Well, that's just a salary buck. It's historically what I've done when the firm's doing well. 52:27 Speaker 1 The most of the world gives you like 2% to maybe 3% to keep up with inflation. We try 52:31 Speaker 1 to do like 3-5 times more. 52:34 Speaker 1 Are you are you worried about giving big beat a big case maybe like the dirt trial and then that attorney 52:39 Speaker 1 No, she worked for you, right? 52:40 Speaker 1 And then she went to start her own firm. Are you worried about that? 52:42 Speaker 1 Is there anything in the contracts or anything saying like hey, don't leave me exciting. That's called a non compete 52:46 Speaker 1 That's called a non compete. George. Yeah, I don't I don't know. I want to do whatever 52:53 Speaker 1 In that case, you know, I did the first there case was here with the triple shooter that we got the dismissal 52:58 Speaker 1 She was sort of like meth is 53:00 Speaker 1 Worked for me and wanted to get her name out there. She just 53:04 Speaker 1 social media and did a wonderful job with that. And then after a few years she left and 53:10 Speaker 1 because she's very attractive and you know basically everybody thought hey she was in all the 53:14 Speaker 1 TV cameras and stuff because I wanted her to get notoriety and help grow the firm instead 53:20 Speaker 1 over time people leave and that's okay it's to be expected. And my heart broke because he hired 53:26 Speaker 1 the billion dollar lawyer for the new trial and I was hoping I'd get another crack at it in 53:31 Speaker 1 Los Angeles, but we did not but you wanted you wanted to quit it again 53:37 Speaker 1 Manny's yeah, wait, that's gonna come 53:39 Speaker 1 That's gonna come into the office one day with makeup on and Manny's like whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa 53:43 Speaker 1 Oh, yeah, I'll get that makeup. I need you to look as homely as possible lady. Okay last one of you 53:48 Speaker 1 I hired that looked pretty I lost you okay change your clothes. What are you doing looking all nice? Hi heels? 53:53 Speaker 1 You're killing me so me that's gonna have 53:55 Speaker 1 Yeah, if I start posting, that's gonna be a problem. 53:59 Speaker 1 And he said, how does he figure out how to use Instagram? 54:02 Speaker 1 What the fuck? 54:03 Speaker 1 I've seen this before, damn it. 54:04 Speaker 1 The funny thing is when you say dress nice and heels 54:06 Speaker 1 and stuff, it almost makes you laugh 54:08 Speaker 1 because Beth knows what I'm talking about now. 54:11 Speaker 1 You don't wear heels past isn't happening. 54:13 Speaker 1 No, I do. 54:14 Speaker 1 I was wearing heels today. 54:15 Speaker 1 I was a little incited. 54:16 Speaker 1 Clicky clacking around the court. 54:18 Speaker 1 Do you wear a make up on your office? 54:20 Speaker 1 Do you wear a make up on your office? 54:21 Speaker 1 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. 54:22 Speaker 1 Do I? 54:23 Speaker 1 Yeah. 54:24 Speaker 1 I'm wearing as much makeup as I wear like right now. 54:28 Speaker 1 Oh, okay. 54:29 Speaker 1 It doesn't get more colorful than this for me. 54:32 Speaker 1 She's like, she's like, ah, so you don't really care. 54:34 Speaker 1 She's like, you're not wearing makeup right now. 54:38 Speaker 1 For sure. 54:39 Speaker 1 Wait, that's actually kind of the look I was going for. 54:42 Speaker 1 So thank you. 54:44 Speaker 1 That's good. 54:45 Speaker 1 You didn't start it with you look tired, so it's fine. 54:48 Speaker 1 Well, you just roll out of bed or something. 54:51 Speaker 1 You need a tussle to my mom. 54:52 Speaker 1 I'm not sure you'd say that to you. 54:54 Speaker 1 Chuck did ask if I was pregnant though. 54:56 Speaker 1 So I know that was very rude to him. 54:59 Speaker 1 I mean, he's very misogynist, but. 55:02 Speaker 1 Manny, what did you think though about the dirt case 55:04 Speaker 1 real quick both of y'all? 55:05 Speaker 1 And I know he still has to go to Chicago 55:06 Speaker 1 and face a Rico trial. 55:07 Speaker 1 Has he called you about the Chicago Rico trial 55:09 Speaker 1 or has he still got the? 55:11 Speaker 1 I saw Kevin Steele hopped on and I 55:13 Speaker 1 guess the billion dollar lawyers will. 55:15 Speaker 1 So what's going on with the red? 55:16 Speaker 1 They're both excellent. 55:18 Speaker 1 They're both excellent. 55:19 Speaker 1 I just kind of hurt my feelings that I didn't get the call 55:21 Speaker 1 first after we'd had her. But you know, I don't really keep up with relationships 55:25 Speaker 1 with folks and some of these other lawyers do. I just don't have time to socialize and social media 55:31 Speaker 1 post and all that kind of stuff. But they're excellent people. He got an acquittal, which is 55:35 Speaker 1 remarkable on a tough case. And so, you know, he's in good hands. I like how many's like, I never 55:41 Speaker 1 called him or remembered him or said anything to him, but I'm so really upset he never called me. 55:46 Speaker 1 You know, you know, you didn't say your life. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. 55:49 Speaker 1 Yeah. 55:50 Speaker 1 And they're really, they're ever been, you know, you've represented some, some famous 55:53 Speaker 1 people. 55:54 Speaker 1 Have there ever been famous people that have called you, left you a voicemail and you legitimately 55:59 Speaker 1 didn't even call them back because you're like, yeah, I want nothing to do with that case. 56:03 Speaker 1 Um, well, there was one before he became super famous, a guy named Gucci, um, he had a murder 56:10 Speaker 1 case before he became, you know, before he became famous, if you Google it into cap, 56:14 Speaker 1 there's a murder case that we had dismissed. 56:17 Speaker 1 And after that, you got some trouble glasses. 56:19 Speaker 1 Yeah, the small glasses. 56:21 Speaker 1 Yeah, we go blind. 56:22 Speaker 1 There's that picture. 56:23 Speaker 1 You remember? 56:24 Speaker 1 You guys saw the photo and said we were baller status or something like that from one of 56:30 Speaker 1 the rap magazines. 56:32 Speaker 1 And he's standing with me. 56:35 Speaker 1 This was years ago. 56:36 Speaker 1 I was still a young guy. 56:37 Speaker 1 But yeah, after that, I'd used up so much capital and goodwill with the people saying, 56:40 Speaker 1 you know, this is that, then when he got in trouble again, I just passed it on to somebody 56:44 Speaker 1 else. 56:45 Speaker 1 Now he's you know with other folks and everything exploded after the murder trial of acquittal 56:51 Speaker 1 he got signed with Atlantic Records. I remember you know seeing that with him and then he just sort of move on. 56:57 Speaker 1 Yeah, that's how you look at that picture, right? 56:59 Speaker 1 We go glasses, young extra man. 57:01 Speaker 1 Yeah. 57:02 Speaker 1 No beard still in the military on the weekends and stuff like that. 57:07 Speaker 1 Did you like that intensity? That was just me being one man show back then. 57:12 Speaker 1 I like that. Yeah, it was like, you know, die or live live or die. Try it. Whatever they say. 57:18 Speaker 1 But I've had four hours of sleep. I've been a Braves game all day. Go Braves. Five, three, baby. Yeah. 57:25 Speaker 1 Anyway, anything else y'all are working on before we let y'all get out of here about 57:29 Speaker 1 into the show. Any big cases coming up? I know best excited to start doing actual attorney work. 57:35 Speaker 1 So anything on the horizon. So one of our big cases that's helped me on is these 57:41 Speaker 1 guys, I guess they say they're gypsies, but they have a portable driveway paving business. 57:49 Speaker 1 And so they've been arrested because it's mostly 80 something year old people whose houses they 57:55 Speaker 1 end up at. 57:57 Speaker 1 And they paved the driveways and the people are saying, well, you're doing a bait and 58:00 Speaker 1 switch and you're threatening me to pay more, you won't do it. 58:03 Speaker 1 And so we're fighting that case in three different counties. 58:07 Speaker 1 I didn't know since Brandon lives in the country. 58:10 Speaker 1 He might know, you know, most of those driveways 58:12 Speaker 1 that are drive by now, I see more gravel here, dirt things. 58:15 Speaker 1 People put loose gravels or millings, I guess. 58:19 Speaker 1 Oh, millings are really popular down here, really popular. 58:21 Speaker 1 It's old road, though. 58:22 Speaker 1 Crushed up, you put it under gravel driveway. 58:24 Speaker 1 You almost got pavement, baby. 58:26 Speaker 1 And one of the counties prosecuting them 58:27 Speaker 1 is just one county south of U-brand and from Cowita. 58:30 Speaker 1 Mary Weather? 58:31 Speaker 1 And it's like country, yeah. 58:32 Speaker 1 True. 58:33 Speaker 1 Mary Weather. 58:33 Speaker 1 Oh, I love Mary Weather. 58:34 Speaker 1 It's trying to move there. 58:35 Speaker 1 Mary Weather. 58:36 Speaker 1 They don't even walk out there. 58:37 Speaker 1 Yeah, there it is. Yeah. I want to buy it. 58:40 Speaker 1 All right, and so they would put into millings that are like a dollar a piece and they do a good job and so 58:46 Speaker 1 One guy complained some cop got a corn cob and so the cop took our guy's phone went through it and started 58:52 Speaker 1 Calling everybody they worked with telling them 58:55 Speaker 1 I think you've been a victim of fraud and shockingly people are like I can give my money back and I got a free driveway 59:00 Speaker 1 Yeah, I've been victimized and so now there's 59:03 Speaker 1 dozens and dozens of people 59:05 Speaker 1 coming out of the woodwork and Beth has been helping me. In fact, we argued that case up in 59:10 Speaker 1 Katusa County today and we're going back in two days to Walker County to argue some more. 59:15 Speaker 1 Are you all coming down to Maryweather? Are you with these folks down here? Because sometimes 59:18 Speaker 1 they don't answer the phone. I don't know if they're going to be here, but let me know and I'll 59:21 Speaker 1 check. Yeah, and you're welcome to come. Yes. We'll be Maryweather probably in a month or two 59:26 Speaker 1 for the next round of hearings. Can I sit there and listen and just like rambling, 59:30 Speaker 1 stand up and scream. 59:31 Speaker 1 Objection. 59:32 Speaker 1 You could. 59:33 Speaker 1 Yes. 59:34 Speaker 1 You could have thrown out. 59:35 Speaker 1 You have the right. 59:36 Speaker 1 The judge may frown upon that behavior, but you are welcome in the courtroom. 59:41 Speaker 1 Can he sit? 59:42 Speaker 1 Can he sit third chair? 59:45 Speaker 1 They won't let you pass what they call the bar. 59:47 Speaker 1 It's like the wooden railing kind of between the boys. 59:50 Speaker 1 Even if he's just like an attorney, even if he's just like an attorney. 59:53 Speaker 1 I don't think you're credentials do they? 59:54 Speaker 1 I got my funeral clothes. 59:56 Speaker 1 Yeah. 59:57 Speaker 1 It's just the one I get the there is a crime for pretending to practice law without a 1:00:01 Speaker 1 license kind of thing. And in that case, then maybe you could 1:00:05 Speaker 1 get. I'll be private investigator. Yeah, then you can sit at 1:00:10 Speaker 1 the table with us if you have a private investigator. Would 1:00:12 Speaker 1 you hire me if I was a private investigator? I'll do whatever 1:00:14 Speaker 1 we say. I'll go. I'll go to strip off. I would. You could talk 1:00:18 Speaker 1 to people that I have no ability to talk to. I'd be because 1:00:22 Speaker 1 you come off as non threatening and people will probably just talk 1:00:25 Speaker 1 to you no matter where you are. And you probably get a lot of 1:00:28 Speaker 1 out for me, especially in this case, we would love to have you on this case that we have. 1:00:33 Speaker 1 You said information out. Now, now it kind of sounds like I'm a snitch. Am I being a snitch 1:00:37 Speaker 1 or am I a PI? I guess I'm getting paid, right? And I'm not like getting threatened. 1:00:42 Speaker 1 You're not snitching on anybody. You're just going to interview witnesses at the lawyer's 1:00:45 Speaker 1 instruction and you're getting paid for it. Nice. How hard? I don't know. I heard information and 1:00:52 Speaker 1 I'm like, Oh, that sounds kind of snitchish. I don't need to be that. I need to shot the streets. 1:00:56 Speaker 1 But you're out there looking for the information to help people out. 1:00:59 Speaker 1 So who are you snitching on? 1:01:01 Speaker 1 If you were involved in a crime with Chuck and you ran it in about that snitch versus 1:01:05 Speaker 1 going out to talk to people to figure out what happened. 1:01:08 Speaker 1 I think we should also point out that many of the people you defend Manny are usually 1:01:11 Speaker 1 younger African American males living in areas that Brandon would not be welcoming and Brandon 1:01:17 Speaker 1 being Brandon would be killed very quickly. 1:01:19 Speaker 1 No, I would have to do it three in the morning by a Philly cheesesteaks and random drinks 1:01:23 Speaker 1 out of a dude's cooler. 1:01:24 Speaker 1 It's okay. 1:01:25 Speaker 1 were looking for a prostitute. No, that's when we were going for one bar of the other. I'm not looking for a prostitute downtown. 1:01:30 Speaker 1 And he kidding me? I'd rather take off. 1:01:32 Speaker 1 What are you talking about? Stop, stop. I say my dig in a gutter for I find a prostitute. 1:01:36 Speaker 1 Stop. That's that's that's neighborhood out there. She lives in the hipster part of the city. 1:01:42 Speaker 1 Oh, you got prostitutes out there farting on that? Yeah, all over. 1:01:48 Speaker 1 Oh, are you really near it? 1:01:50 Speaker 1 Like looking for a place downtown and there's some prostitute on the corner and she's like, Oh, my 1:01:55 Speaker 1 God beautiful 1:01:57 Speaker 1 Look look there's prostitutes in the middle of the day 1:02:00 Speaker 1 Yeah, they're so welcome here charged with a crime. Do you have an attorney? 1:02:05 Speaker 1 No, but I'll find on your next but Tony down. Okay, let's get out of here. You crazy. All right, sorry 1:02:12 Speaker 1 Not a lot of sleep, but we appreciate everybody listening. We're gonna go ahead and get on out of here 1:02:16 Speaker 1 Thanks. The Aurora law firm coming on today Matt dog Manny and a big B a big B 1:02:21 Speaker 1 What is it Beth big be noble there we go now attorney? I don't know if you put the ATT in is that what that means the front or does that mean attention? 1:02:29 Speaker 1 That's attention. That's attention which you can also call attention. Yeah, see oh 1:02:35 Speaker 1 Attorney walks in you're like what do what is the what is the abbreviation for attorney? 1:02:41 Speaker 1 money science like why are both of you not 1:02:47 Speaker 1 Easy 1:02:51 Speaker 1 you. Oh yeah. Esquire. I thought 1:02:56 Speaker 1 only a guy could be an Esquire. 1:02:58 Speaker 1 No, escort would be a woman. 1:03:00 Speaker 1 No, I'm saying no, I'm saying I 1:03:01 Speaker 1 thought I thought only a guy could 1:03:03 Speaker 1 be an Esquire. You're thinking 1:03:05 Speaker 1 of squire. I don't know that. 1:03:08 Speaker 1 Jiggle. What's a female? What's 1:03:10 Speaker 1 a female attorney called? Beth? 1:03:13 Speaker 1 It's still like a doctor. No, 1:03:15 Speaker 1 it's like it. I'm talking is so 1:03:17 Speaker 1 best in Esquire. Is that what I'm 1:03:18 Speaker 1 saying? Yes. 1:03:20 Speaker 1 Don't just make that up. 1:03:21 Speaker 1 It's crazy. 1:03:22 Speaker 1 None of us even know. 1:03:23 Speaker 1 I'm just finding out if it's gendered. 1:03:25 Speaker 1 I don't think it is. 1:03:26 Speaker 1 It's gender neutral. 1:03:27 Speaker 1 Yeah. 1:03:28 Speaker 1 Esquire. 1:03:29 Speaker 1 Mm hmm. 1:03:30 Speaker 1 I like that. 1:03:31 Speaker 1 I just thought it was like fucking three or four money signs in front of their name. 1:03:35 Speaker 1 Like, it's a pricey. 1:03:38 Speaker 1 We'd have to find all right. 1:03:39 Speaker 1 It's like the same way that the word or title basketball player is gender neutral. 1:03:45 Speaker 1 Oh, God. 1:03:46 Speaker 1 It's not my fault. 1:03:48 Speaker 1 made an assumption. Oh my god. I 1:03:51 Speaker 1 thought you were pregnant too. I 1:03:52 Speaker 1 can't believe you called your fat 1:03:54 Speaker 1 terrible. Anyway, any guy we get on 1:03:57 Speaker 1 out of here? So I think we've 1:04:00 Speaker 1 sort of covered everything. There's 1:04:01 Speaker 1 nobody safe on this show. Well, 1:04:05 Speaker 1 I'm glad you're racist, but I'm 1:04:06 Speaker 1 really upset that you don't like 1:04:07 Speaker 1 Jimmy Dean Big B who I did not 1:04:10 Speaker 1 think was pregnant at all, looking 1:04:11 Speaker 1 great. Anything where we go out 1:04:13 Speaker 1 of here? Kind of weird that you 1:04:16 Speaker 1 would think I wouldn't look great 1:04:17 Speaker 1 if I were pregnant, but I appreciate it anyway. 1:04:22 Speaker 1 The meaning behind it. 1:04:23 Speaker 1 I'm glad to be back. 1:04:25 Speaker 1 Glad to have the weight lifted 1:04:26 Speaker 1 so I can enjoy things in life again. 1:04:29 Speaker 1 Like talking to you guys. 1:04:31 Speaker 1 So she has some weight on her. 1:04:32 Speaker 1 Chuck. 1:04:35 Speaker 1 Big B, I think you should be allowed to wear makeup. 1:04:38 Speaker 1 And I think all the listeners are gonna agree 1:04:41 Speaker 1 that if you want to wear makeup girl, you do it. 1:04:43 Speaker 1 All right, don't let Manny hold you back. 1:04:44 Speaker 1 Okay, you have a right to look good in makeup. 1:04:49 Speaker 1 Thank you. 1:04:50 Speaker 1 I said that I was trying to be a compliment. 1:04:52 Speaker 1 Brandon, you guys, you guys are stylists made it sound really mean and it wasn't supposed 1:04:55 Speaker 1 to be mean. 1:04:56 Speaker 1 So I just want to let you guys know that was not meant as a jab. 1:04:59 Speaker 1 So now I got to take that back. 1:05:01 Speaker 1 Okay. 1:05:02 Speaker 1 So we're going to go and get on out of here. 1:05:03 Speaker 1 If you take the bar exam, stop coming on the show and being mean to us. 1:05:06 Speaker 1 All right. 1:05:07 Speaker 1 We'll see you later. 1:05:08 Speaker 1 Bye.
