Mar, I know that's Asian. 2:07 Speaker 1 That doesn't come from like China, does it? 2:09 Speaker 1 I don't think so. 2:10 Speaker 1 Cause you know what, they're not coming from Baltimore 2:12 Speaker 1 cause they're not in season. 2:13 Speaker 1 So I'm guessing they're coming from Florida. 2:15 Speaker 1 Cause we're. 2:16 Speaker 1 That's right. 2:17 Speaker 1 I saw an Asian chick that she was like fresh out of China. 2:21 Speaker 1 And she was talking about, 2:22 Speaker 1 she's like how she goes to Asian markets and stuff in the US. 2:24 Speaker 1 And she's like, I don't ever buy anything from China. 2:27 Speaker 1 It's nasty, it's bad. 2:28 Speaker 1 The CCP make it terrible. 2:30 Speaker 1 but I'd never buy a food from China. 2:32 Speaker 1 I'm like, I'm not fucking buying crab shit from China either. 2:35 Speaker 1 I try not to buy any food made in China for the most part. 2:38 Speaker 1 I buy shit, you know, it doesn't really matter. 2:39 Speaker 1 I mean, if it breaks, I mean, it breaks, you know. 2:41 Speaker 1 Oh, you mean actual items? 2:44 Speaker 1 Oh, yeah, not Chinese people shit in a box. 2:48 Speaker 1 No, so we were walking into H. Martin, 2:50 Speaker 1 Meghan or Savannah looks at me and she goes, 2:52 Speaker 1 I feel like they judge me. 2:54 Speaker 1 And I said, why? 2:55 Speaker 1 Cause you're not as smart. 2:56 Speaker 1 It was, it was like a good little, 2:58 Speaker 1 and she's like, stop it, stop it. 2:59 Speaker 1 It's because I'm white. 3:00 Speaker 1 I said, they're not judging you because you're white, right? 3:03 Speaker 1 So we get up to the cash register, 3:04 Speaker 1 we got all of our blue crab, Meghan got all this seasoning, 3:07 Speaker 1 all this Asian stuff, she got some Asian beer, 3:09 Speaker 1 she got all this Asian stuff. 3:10 Speaker 1 We get up there in Savannah had, 3:12 Speaker 1 like I don't know what it's called. 3:13 Speaker 1 It's ice cream that's in the shape of like pears 3:16 Speaker 1 and peaches and all this, but it's ice cream. 3:18 Speaker 1 And Savannah gets up and she puts it up to the cash register. 3:21 Speaker 1 And the Asian lady goes, oh, good choice. 3:25 Speaker 1 You actually eat this? 3:26 Speaker 1 And Savannah goes, yes, I actually eat it. 3:29 Speaker 1 like that and Lady goes, oh, that's very surprising for you. 3:32 Speaker 1 And she goes, why is it surprising? 3:34 Speaker 1 And the lady's like, I mean, it's just very surprising 3:36 Speaker 1 that little white girl get this type of ice cream, right? 3:39 Speaker 1 So we leave H. Martin, she goes, God, 3:42 Speaker 1 I feel so like racism's real. 3:44 Speaker 1 And I was like, yeah, if that's your racist story 3:48 Speaker 1 that you gotta tell the rest of your life, congratulations. 3:50 Speaker 1 Yeah, don't cry about that one too much. 3:52 Speaker 1 I mean, it's just the Asian ladies, 3:53 Speaker 1 oh, you eat up that ice cream. 3:55 Speaker 1 You would like an ice cream, 3:56 Speaker 1 I eat ice cream too, same kind. 3:58 Speaker 1 is that he's from China though. So he sheet is she is a bad he's a no good but uh yeah so we got the red lobster for Mother's Day 4:06 Speaker 1 uh at 12 which my grandma was supposed to meet us there 4:10 Speaker 1 it's going on 130 we can't find her get a hold of her my oh Jesus Christ grandma went missing so 4:15 Speaker 1 uh we tried to find her couldn't find her eventually she uh got her phone working apparently for some reason after church she went to the public's 4:22 Speaker 1 parking lot to wait for us. I mean why would you sit in the public parking lot and not the restaurant parking lot that we were 4:28 Speaker 1 going to. So that way, there's a shade tree over here and I didn't know how long y'all 4:31 Speaker 1 be. I'm like, what, how long did she sit there? 4:35 Speaker 1 hour and a half. Oh my God. And you guys were at Red Lobster this whole time. 4:40 Speaker 1 Yeah, we're sitting outside like waiting on her, you know, like where's she at? And we 4:44 Speaker 1 couldn't get a hold over that morning. Her phone like lost service for some reason. So she 4:49 Speaker 1 was trying to send text messages, but it wouldn't work. We're trying to call her. So that maybe 4:52 Speaker 1 she went to her house, check the house, what in there. And then I went and checked Coles and 4:56 Speaker 1 Ross over there would just check that area why Coles and Ross, you know old ladies just like to go shopping at 5:04 Speaker 1 Like grandma's missing and you and your family get together and go okay 5:08 Speaker 1 You need a top 10 list here. Where could she be and you're like 5:12 Speaker 1 Coles duh 5:15 Speaker 1 She went somewhere under her own free will it be like Coles Ross Belk or Lowe's more likely 5:19 Speaker 1 I forget about public stuff. I didn't know that was like a safe haven for over there 5:22 Speaker 1 I was like a home base. 5:24 Speaker 1 Like I would have went to a dollar general. 5:26 Speaker 1 Yeah, I don't think she likes those people there, 5:28 Speaker 1 but that's like her FOB, right? 5:30 Speaker 1 The Publix is her in the city forward operating base. 5:34 Speaker 1 Like from her home. 5:35 Speaker 1 That's where she stations everything from. 5:37 Speaker 1 Like how far is that from the Publix? 5:39 Speaker 1 Like I don't know, three minutes probably up the road. 5:41 Speaker 1 Did she know you guys were going to Red Lobster for dinner? 5:44 Speaker 1 I see picked the restaurant. 5:45 Speaker 1 So why didn't she just go there? 5:47 Speaker 1 I don't know, because she couldn't get a hold of us 5:49 Speaker 1 because her phone wasn't right. 5:50 Speaker 1 I was like, why would you say in the public parking lot? 5:52 Speaker 1 Where none of us agreed to meet at, 5:55 Speaker 1 why would we meet you there first and go, 5:56 Speaker 1 oh, she must be sitting here. 5:57 Speaker 1 We found you, let's go over to the Red Lobster. 5:59 Speaker 1 Like why didn't she just go to the Red Lobster? 6:01 Speaker 1 So after an hour and a half of waiting at the publics 6:04 Speaker 1 with no one answering her because she never actually 6:06 Speaker 1 sent us any messages, she's like, 6:08 Speaker 1 I guess I just decided I'd go over to the Red Lobster 6:10 Speaker 1 and see if y'all were there. 6:12 Speaker 1 But yes, we've been here for an hour and a half. 6:14 Speaker 1 Who all was it? 6:16 Speaker 1 Me, my grandma, my dad and his wife. 6:19 Speaker 1 How business was your dad? 6:22 Speaker 1 He wasn't super mad. 6:23 Speaker 1 He was just kind of like, what the fuck? 6:24 Speaker 1 What are you doing? 6:25 Speaker 1 So then once we get them there, 6:28 Speaker 1 then it was packed out by then. 6:30 Speaker 1 So then we had to wait 45 minutes for a seat. 6:33 Speaker 1 And you know, red lobster is already slow as shit anyway. 6:36 Speaker 1 So then we get in there. 6:37 Speaker 1 And we were there from 12 to four, 6:39 Speaker 1 is what I did. 6:40 Speaker 1 The middle part of my day was at a red lobster. 6:42 Speaker 1 So, and then I go to eat the food 6:44 Speaker 1 and I'm about to throw up because it tastes disgusting. 6:46 Speaker 1 I don't know if it's fried seafood. 6:48 Speaker 1 I can't do anymore or what because I had, I had a, 6:51 Speaker 1 the Wild West shrimp at Longhorns like three or four days ago. 6:54 Speaker 1 I ate like half of that. 6:55 Speaker 1 That was perfectly fine. 6:56 Speaker 1 And then I had a seafood boy up at my buddy's house like three weeks before that. 6:59 Speaker 1 And I was perfectly fine. 7:00 Speaker 1 So maybe it's fried, fried seafood or it might just be red lobster. 7:04 Speaker 1 Cause the last time I was there two years ago, I also had that problem. 7:07 Speaker 1 Yeah, red lobster's gone downhill. 7:09 Speaker 1 I mean, I think all of them have olive garden, all of them, 7:11 Speaker 1 they're going to be out of business soon. 7:12 Speaker 1 It's, it's no, there's no. 7:14 Speaker 1 It's no good. 7:14 Speaker 1 You like Longhorn? 7:15 Speaker 1 Yeah, Longhorn's good. 7:16 Speaker 1 I don't, I don't, I don't throw long horn into that like little. 7:19 Speaker 1 So the four sum is very specific. 7:21 Speaker 1 It's Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback and Caravas. 7:27 Speaker 1 Those four are all somehow connected because I got a gift card one time. 7:31 Speaker 1 And I was able to use it for all four. 7:33 Speaker 1 And that's when I realized this is a crappy gift card, right? 7:36 Speaker 1 This is, this is the four that you think you're rich. 7:38 Speaker 1 Like you think you've made it when you go out to eat there, but you didn't. 7:42 Speaker 1 They're just not that good. 7:43 Speaker 1 It's like fast food, but fancy with candlelight. 7:46 Speaker 1 Yeah, that's what I bought one funny enough. I bought one of those gift cards for my dad and his wife 7:51 Speaker 1 Back in for Christmas and then we use it today. So look at that 7:57 Speaker 1 Dinner today, I didn't even eat or lunch. I don't even know what I'm calling it 8:00 Speaker 1 I started at 12 and I finished it for I don't know what the fuck that is 8:03 Speaker 1 I don't even know I'm supposed to eat dinner again tonight or what I just had a lot of broccoli and mashed potatoes and 8:08 Speaker 1 Biscuit and a little bit of scallops. Did you call your mom? Yeah, I did yeah, I talked to her about 20 30 minutes 8:14 Speaker 1 We talked about horse racing and stuff like that 8:16 Speaker 1 Did you tell her happy Mother's Day? 8:18 Speaker 1 Oh yeah, yeah, that's what I led with. 8:20 Speaker 1 Yeah. 8:21 Speaker 1 Did you send her anything? 8:22 Speaker 1 I sent her my love in my voice across. 8:25 Speaker 1 Did you didn't buy your mom a gift? 8:28 Speaker 1 No, I feel like if they're out of town, 8:29 Speaker 1 you don't have to do that. 8:30 Speaker 1 You just call them and tell them, 8:31 Speaker 1 hey, I love you and talk to them for 30 minutes. 8:33 Speaker 1 Does she know that you bought new tires for a freight liner? 8:38 Speaker 1 I don't think I told her that part. 8:39 Speaker 1 No, that's also a part why I couldn't get her a gift. 8:41 Speaker 1 Spend $700 on tire. 8:43 Speaker 1 Oh, we'll get into that here in a minute. 8:44 Speaker 1 But no, so, but she was happy to talk to her. 8:48 Speaker 1 You know, she's got plenty of money. 8:49 Speaker 1 She's fine. 8:50 Speaker 1 And anything I get her, 8:50 Speaker 1 I mean, she's already God. 8:52 Speaker 1 I don't even know what she needs. 8:53 Speaker 1 I don't know. 8:54 Speaker 1 Flowers, chocolates, a card. 8:57 Speaker 1 A car? 8:58 Speaker 1 Good God. 8:59 Speaker 1 She got a card. 8:59 Speaker 1 A card. 9:00 Speaker 1 I was like, Jesus Christ. 9:03 Speaker 1 I said, you buy your mom car 9:04 Speaker 1 over your mother's name. 9:05 Speaker 1 A card. 9:06 Speaker 1 No, but no, everything went well. 9:07 Speaker 1 It was a good time. 9:08 Speaker 1 It was fine. 9:09 Speaker 1 We all, you know, talk, everything. 9:11 Speaker 1 Everything's cool. 9:12 Speaker 1 So, but yeah, you bring up the bus situation. 9:14 Speaker 1 So let me think about this. 9:17 Speaker 1 What have I told on the shows? 9:19 Speaker 1 I think I went up Friday, right? 9:20 Speaker 1 So Friday Brandon's on his way up to get the bus. 9:23 Speaker 1 Everything, well, you get the title done 9:25 Speaker 1 and get everything done and all that. 9:26 Speaker 1 So he's like, hey, man, I'm hitting the road. 9:28 Speaker 1 I said, sweet. 9:29 Speaker 1 I wanna have to remind you. 9:30 Speaker 1 I wanna have tried. 9:31 Speaker 1 So I'm sitting here and I'm going, man, 9:33 Speaker 1 me and this D can have not been on the same page. 9:36 Speaker 1 Like at all, right? 9:37 Speaker 1 I mean, if there was any confusion that could take place, 9:40 Speaker 1 it's me and this guy. 9:41 Speaker 1 Now I'll be honest with you, 9:42 Speaker 1 I don't think he's a listener of the show. 9:43 Speaker 1 So I'm just gonna say this. 9:46 Speaker 1 He's, you know, if a good batting average is 333, 9:50 Speaker 1 he's batting 102. 9:51 Speaker 1 You know what I'm saying? 9:52 Speaker 1 That's all I'm gonna say. 9:53 Speaker 1 So he reaches out to me, I didn't text him, unprovoked. 9:58 Speaker 1 He reaches out to me 10 minutes after me 9:59 Speaker 1 and Brandon get off the phone. 10:00 Speaker 1 And I said, Brandon, I'm not reaching out to this guy 10:02 Speaker 1 until after you sign the title 10:03 Speaker 1 because he's really dumb. 10:05 Speaker 1 And I don't want to mess this up. 10:07 Speaker 1 So he reaches out to me and he goes, 10:08 Speaker 1 Hey man, just to confirm Mr. Thrashers coming up to do the paperwork, 10:14 Speaker 1 I just want to make sure you're going to do all that work that we talked about 10:17 Speaker 1 for a thousand bucks. 10:18 Speaker 1 And I'm thinking, I'm looking, I'm looking, I've looked at everything. 10:21 Speaker 1 It's, it's a $4,000 estimate. 10:24 Speaker 1 And I said, okay, I've looked at all the estimates. 10:27 Speaker 1 Here are the numbers. 10:28 Speaker 1 I'm giving you $1,000 off. 10:31 Speaker 1 So it'll be $3,050. 10:34 Speaker 1 And dude, I get blasted, right? 10:38 Speaker 1 You're not a man of your word. 10:39 Speaker 1 Who do you think you are? 10:42 Speaker 1 We're doing this for you. 10:43 Speaker 1 We're giving you these buses and you're doing this. 10:46 Speaker 1 And so I text Brandon, our call Brandon and I go, yo, dude, I'm like, 10:50 Speaker 1 this point is yelling. 10:51 Speaker 1 It's like, fuck that motherfucker. 10:53 Speaker 1 You're like, you pay him $1,000. 10:55 Speaker 1 And then I'm like, what pay him $1,000? 10:58 Speaker 1 I don't know. 10:58 Speaker 1 I just put the cash in the bank to pay for the toe. 11:00 Speaker 1 What are you talking about? 11:01 Speaker 1 He's like, what? 11:02 Speaker 1 So I said, I will sell you $500. 11:05 Speaker 1 Give him a thousand and I'm done. 11:09 Speaker 1 Like I'm out. 11:09 Speaker 1 Like there's a zero chance I'm gonna do this job. 11:11 Speaker 1 Just give him a thousand dollars and be done with it 11:13 Speaker 1 and don't act and don't tell him you know me. 11:16 Speaker 1 Just act like we just met on the street or something. 11:18 Speaker 1 So for the next 15 minutes I'm driving in my heart. 11:21 Speaker 1 Now I gotta find a fucking bank 11:22 Speaker 1 and then 50 minutes later here calls Chuck again. 11:24 Speaker 1 And then what do you tell me? 11:25 Speaker 1 So after I met, he calls me. 11:27 Speaker 1 Right? 11:28 Speaker 1 I said, we get each other on the phone. 11:30 Speaker 1 And he goes, he goes, Mr. Chuck, Mr. Chuck. 11:33 Speaker 1 He is what I'm saying. 11:36 Speaker 1 The estimate was for $4,000, 11:38 Speaker 1 but we don't want all those trees down. 11:41 Speaker 1 So I need you to take the trees out of the estimate. 11:44 Speaker 1 And we're still gonna give you a thousand dollars. 11:47 Speaker 1 And so I look at the frickin' estimate 11:48 Speaker 1 without the trees and it's $2,000, 11:52 Speaker 1 which means 500 from Brandon, 500 from me, 11:55 Speaker 1 takes it down to a thousand, they pay 1,050, or good. 11:58 Speaker 1 But I go, wait dude, when did this whole like four trees 12:03 Speaker 1 We're just gonna be left and nobody wanted to tell me that and he goes. Oh, that was that now that was part of the deal the whole time 12:08 Speaker 1 I mean, you know that right and I'm going dude. What is going on? So I said, okay, so you're gonna give me a thousand dollars and 12:16 Speaker 1 $1,050 12:17 Speaker 1 He's getting the buses and I'm doing the church parking lot and I'm taking four branches over your pastor's house 12:24 Speaker 1 And you'll oh yeah, that was that was the deal the whole time mr. Chuck 12:28 Speaker 1 And I'm like, what? 12:30 Speaker 1 He acts it for this guy, but it's hilarious. 12:32 Speaker 1 Fochorn, laehorn. 12:34 Speaker 1 Well, he was like, hey, I'll miss a chuck. 12:37 Speaker 1 We're going to get those four branches. 12:39 Speaker 1 And I'm like, what is going on? 12:40 Speaker 1 So finally, I'm like, OK, so we're good. 12:42 Speaker 1 And he goes, yeah. 12:43 Speaker 1 And then he goes, I want to general apologize. 12:46 Speaker 1 If you wouldn't mind apologizing because you misunderstood 12:49 Speaker 1 the agreement. 12:50 Speaker 1 And I'm like, dude, I'm walking into the school 12:52 Speaker 1 because I'm going to teach kindergarten. 12:54 Speaker 1 So I'm busted. 12:55 Speaker 1 I'm hauling, right? 12:56 Speaker 1 because you, you're an idiot. 12:58 Speaker 1 And I tell Brandon, hey man, I'm walking to the school 13:00 Speaker 1 to teach and he's like, oh cool man, 13:02 Speaker 1 I'm going up to do the, the, the title and stuff. 13:05 Speaker 1 I said, okay. 13:06 Speaker 1 I can't claim you're not the bees. 13:07 Speaker 1 Yeah. 13:08 Speaker 1 And I'm like walking to the school and he's like, 13:09 Speaker 1 let me tell you, dude, let me tell you about the bees man. 13:11 Speaker 1 It's so crazy. 13:12 Speaker 1 So the, I'm like, dude shut up. 13:14 Speaker 1 I'm walking into the school. 13:15 Speaker 1 Well you'd, you'd call me and then like, 13:17 Speaker 1 the 15 minutes after you'd be like, fuck this guy, 13:19 Speaker 1 just get the buses and get the fuck out of there. 13:21 Speaker 1 15 minutes later, trust my, 13:22 Speaker 1 hey, we're cool man. 13:24 Speaker 1 Everything. 13:25 Speaker 1 What are you thinking? 13:25 Speaker 1 Hey, knows you're coming. 13:27 Speaker 1 Go ahead and get the bus, get him signed, 13:28 Speaker 1 and I'll be out there after we get the buses out. 13:30 Speaker 1 I'm like, all right, thank God. 13:31 Speaker 1 I was like, so no money. 13:33 Speaker 1 No, I said he didn't want any money. 13:34 Speaker 1 He didn't want any money transfer, am I? 13:36 Speaker 1 Thank God. All right. 13:37 Speaker 1 Yeah, so we're good there. 13:38 Speaker 1 So I'm sitting there, I'm in kindergarten Friday at two o'clock. 13:42 Speaker 1 It's two o'clock in the afternoon, 13:44 Speaker 1 and my phone starts ringing. 13:45 Speaker 1 It's Brandon. 13:46 Speaker 1 Look, what are you doing, dude? 13:47 Speaker 1 I text him, I'm like, hey man, I'm teaching kindergarten. 13:49 Speaker 1 It's never too early to teach him 13:51 Speaker 1 about the birds and the bees. 13:52 Speaker 1 I'm like, do what are you talking about? 13:54 Speaker 1 And he's like, no, no, he said, yeah. 13:56 Speaker 1 Yeah. 13:56 Speaker 1 You say it's never to really tell them to stay off drugs, right? 13:58 Speaker 1 All this stuff. 13:59 Speaker 1 They off. 13:59 Speaker 1 I said, teach them about drugs, the pros and the cons of drugs, 14:02 Speaker 1 how they can help you and how they can ruin your life. 14:04 Speaker 1 I don't understand what you're calling me. 14:06 Speaker 1 You know I'm working in kindergarten to four o'clock. 14:08 Speaker 1 I've never heard kindergartens get out of school at four o'clock. 14:11 Speaker 1 They always got off at two thirties when the elementary schools get out. 14:13 Speaker 1 What's your school? 14:15 Speaker 1 Do you send your kids to where they're getting off at four? 14:17 Speaker 1 It's three 30. 14:18 Speaker 1 And then you got buses. 14:19 Speaker 1 So I got a freaking room full of buses, bus kids, 14:22 Speaker 1 that just sit there and just terrorize me for 30 minutes before they get on that bus. 14:27 Speaker 1 And there's always a late bus. So there's always kids there. 14:29 Speaker 1 And I don't get to leave until the last kid leaves. So anyway, that was all stressful. 14:33 Speaker 1 But Brandon got the title. Yeah, Brandon had to buy tires. 14:36 Speaker 1 Because I go up there, right? And I got there early. 14:40 Speaker 1 I got there at one and I was supposed to meet the deacon at two. 14:43 Speaker 1 And I'm like, Oh, shit. All right. Hopefully everything's fine. 14:45 Speaker 1 No, so I texted me. All right. I'm about 15 minutes away. 14:47 Speaker 1 We're starting taking a video of the buses pictures, whatnot. 14:50 Speaker 1 He comes over and is like, all right, well, I got to go over here. 14:54 Speaker 1 And I got to get the paperwork signed with the preacher and then we'll come back over here. 14:58 Speaker 1 He's like, make sure, make sure you give them the right accent. 15:00 Speaker 1 Now, he's like, now would you, would you want to come to the church with us? 15:04 Speaker 1 Or would you want to stay here? 15:06 Speaker 1 And I felt like he wanted me to go to the church. 15:07 Speaker 1 I'm like, I got to call a tow company man and get some more information on these buses. 15:11 Speaker 1 If you just want to run over there and do it, that'd be great. 15:15 Speaker 1 So he ran over there and the preacher came back with them. 15:17 Speaker 1 And he's this this hill is all preacher. I'm like, hey, nice to meet you. Yeah, she's she's relatively attractive, isn't she? 15:24 Speaker 1 He's nice. I 15:25 Speaker 1 Wouldn't say relative attractive. She's nice lady. That's for sure 15:29 Speaker 1 But I shook her hand top to her saying they're talking about it. She's like, so what you planning on doing the buzzes? I'm like 15:34 Speaker 1 Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna wrap them and we're gonna like give out food to the homeless. That's 15:41 Speaker 1 Like 2% of what we're doing, but I figured I tell them that part 15:44 Speaker 1 It's not why that was going to be doing full time. 15:46 Speaker 1 You know, we're going to have like drugs and strippers and shit. 15:48 Speaker 1 Oh, no, we're not. 15:50 Speaker 1 Yeah, we're not for a little bit, but I won't. 15:53 Speaker 1 I won't be a part of that. 15:54 Speaker 1 But, uh, and then he's like, so, uh, so what Chuck is going to come out 15:59 Speaker 1 Monday and cut down all these trees, right? 16:01 Speaker 1 And I'm like in my head, I'm like, all right, what am I supposed to tell this guy? 16:04 Speaker 1 Do I know Chuck a little bit or not? 16:05 Speaker 1 Or what? 16:06 Speaker 1 I'm like, Oh, yeah, he's good guy. 16:08 Speaker 1 I've had him do some work for me too. 16:10 Speaker 1 And he does a pretty good job. 16:11 Speaker 1 So that's always said of that. 16:12 Speaker 1 I was just trying to get out of there quick. 16:14 Speaker 1 I'm like, dude, yeah, I was worried about what you were going to say. 16:17 Speaker 1 Cause I am going there tomorrow. 16:18 Speaker 1 So well, as of this recording, I'm going there today to do it. 16:21 Speaker 1 And the problem is the buses are still there. 16:25 Speaker 1 Yeah, don't drop it on the fuck above. 16:27 Speaker 1 All right. 16:27 Speaker 1 So then then I, I, I, I taught to the tow company, right? 16:30 Speaker 1 So I taught to them. 16:32 Speaker 1 It's a Friday when I'm up there, I call them about two to go ahead and schedule 16:35 Speaker 1 everything. 16:36 Speaker 1 Um, their lead driver got hit on the side of 285 the day before. 16:41 Speaker 1 So he can't work right because he's all fucked up, which I understand. 16:46 Speaker 1 And then they had a few other things going on. 16:49 Speaker 1 They had some skeleton crews running so they didn't have full crews. 16:53 Speaker 1 And then they're shut. 16:54 Speaker 1 They shut down 285 for the whole fucking weekend. 16:57 Speaker 1 I mean, that was fucking madness. 16:58 Speaker 1 They shut down two miles of 285 both sides. 17:01 Speaker 1 I know that. 17:02 Speaker 1 I know that. 17:03 Speaker 1 It was like on the left side in the middle. 17:05 Speaker 1 I don't know what it is. 17:06 Speaker 1 Exit nine. 17:07 Speaker 1 Okay. 17:08 Speaker 1 Okay. 17:09 Speaker 1 Left side in the middle that doesn't make any sense. What the fucking circle? 17:13 Speaker 1 285 so the left side of the circle in the middle of the circle. Oh, I 17:19 Speaker 1 Thought you hit the left side of the road 17:22 Speaker 1 Like one of the lanes, but on the left side so like the third and fourth lane, but in the middle 17:27 Speaker 1 You know, I mean oh no no no. I'm talking about that's 285 as a whole as a whole. Okay. Yes. Yeah 17:35 Speaker 1 Who cares only affects six flags yeah, so then 17:39 Speaker 1 which I 20's right there and it fucking backs everything up. 17:42 Speaker 1 Um, but anyway, so I called the company. 17:44 Speaker 1 I'm talking to Mallory. 17:45 Speaker 1 She's very nice. 17:46 Speaker 1 Thank you. 17:47 Speaker 1 Uh, and she's like, okay, we can get the four 50 picked up and delivered on Monday. 17:52 Speaker 1 Okay. 17:52 Speaker 1 Sweet. 17:52 Speaker 1 That's everything's going nice and smoothly. 17:55 Speaker 1 It's working well. 17:56 Speaker 1 Uh, and then we get to the big bus and she asked me, she's like, oh, so how, you know, they're trying to figure it out because they're, they, I thought they're going to put it on a trailer. 18:04 Speaker 1 They're not. 18:04 Speaker 1 They're doing what you thought they were going to do, which is pull it behind. 18:06 Speaker 1 And remember I was talking about I was like well that doesn't make any sense because the tires dry ride they're gonna blow out anyway with them 18:12 Speaker 1 So then they called me and they asked I was like well, you know the batteries aren't in there 18:15 Speaker 1 And we the tires are dry ride it. So even we got it running. We don't want to drive it down there 18:19 Speaker 1 It's like oh 18:20 Speaker 1 Tires are bad. I'm like, uh, yeah, that's why I need y'all to fucking tow it 18:26 Speaker 1 It's not like I got a fucking you know a gallon again 18:29 Speaker 1 I don't have any fuel in it. I want you to tow it two hours away. I can't fucking drive it 18:33 Speaker 1 They got no tires. It's like, Oh, yeah, that's not going to work. 18:35 Speaker 1 Cause we're going to tow it behind a, another vehicle. 18:38 Speaker 1 What the fuck? So, and the Chuck's like, mine, you should just not told them about 18:43 Speaker 1 the tires. I'm like, oh, yeah. 18:44 Speaker 1 Then they get up there Wednesday and they're about to load it up and they're like, 18:47 Speaker 1 Hey, these tires are fucked. 18:49 Speaker 1 And I got to find tires then at that point in the middle of a Tuesday, 18:51 Speaker 1 probably at like 1 p.m. That had been a fucking nightmare. 18:55 Speaker 1 So I get home and I find a tire guy, a tire guy say he can go out there and 18:58 Speaker 1 change tires. Four of them on site, $1,700. I said, all right, 19:02 Speaker 1 That's not a terrible deal. 19:04 Speaker 1 I mean, the tires themselves are fucking probably a thousand just for the backs of 700 labor. 19:08 Speaker 1 I'm guessing. 19:09 Speaker 1 Well, then it gets out there Saturday morning, right? 19:12 Speaker 1 And I'm get a call. 19:13 Speaker 1 I'm expecting him to be like, Oh, Mr. Crusher, your, your bus got tires on the back. 19:17 Speaker 1 Everything went good. 19:18 Speaker 1 The plate opposite. 19:19 Speaker 1 It went absolutely terrible. 19:20 Speaker 1 All right. 19:21 Speaker 1 So I get a call. 19:22 Speaker 1 Somehow there's, I started with one person, this one late. 19:25 Speaker 1 And now somehow I've got three or four people with this company calling me. 19:28 Speaker 1 I think it's a company wide problem at this point. 19:31 Speaker 1 they're calling me. They're like, yeah, my my technicians out there right now. And the lug nuts 19:36 Speaker 1 are just rounding off, man. He's got his machine on there. It's just rounding them off. And I'm thinking, 19:42 Speaker 1 Oh, Jesus Christ, like did they not spray him with anything like no PB blaster or try to, you know, 19:47 Speaker 1 break the plugs loose or anything like that? So then the other guy, then the guy actually out 19:52 Speaker 1 there calls me, he's like, Hey, man, I got my tool on there and everything. It's just spinning them. 19:57 Speaker 1 I started to break them. And then it just slipped and started spinning them. And I've been 20:00 Speaker 1 and baiting on them, he's like, 20:02 Speaker 1 show what we're gonna have to do is we're gonna have 20:04 Speaker 1 to get you the new lug nuts. 20:06 Speaker 1 I'm gonna have to cut these ones off, 20:08 Speaker 1 which means I'm probably gonna have to put new studs 20:10 Speaker 1 on here too. 20:11 Speaker 1 I'm like, Jesus Christ. 20:12 Speaker 1 I was that your fault? 20:15 Speaker 1 Well, it's not, but in order for him to do the job, 20:18 Speaker 1 he's gotta put new ones on. 20:22 Speaker 1 If not, I'm gonna have to call someone else 20:23 Speaker 1 and they're gonna do the same fucking thing. 20:25 Speaker 1 So, at the time this is released, 20:29 Speaker 1 I am waiting on a quote from those people to tell me how much new lugs studs and nuts are gonna be I hope 20:34 Speaker 1 It's not more than 350 on top of what I already oh yeah, I can't imagine more than 350 20:39 Speaker 1 I was gonna say 200 because that's something they should have pretty standard right that they can just do 20:44 Speaker 1 Yeah, I see the problem is I don't know 20:46 Speaker 1 I mean that does that is a massive fucking rig and they've been sitting there for 15 years 20:50 Speaker 1 So but I don't know if they tried like pd blaster or they tried by writing it or anything or if they just he just went up there 20:56 Speaker 1 and try to use this, say they use this torque multiplier, 20:58 Speaker 1 which I know what that is. 20:59 Speaker 1 It's a massive fucking like right angle gun. 21:02 Speaker 1 They're supposed to break them loose, 21:03 Speaker 1 but I mean, sometimes you need a little vibration 21:05 Speaker 1 or a little bit of heat on them, get that shit. 21:07 Speaker 1 So I'm sure he didn't use any of that, but. 21:09 Speaker 1 I don't know. 21:10 Speaker 1 Well, hopefully it doesn't cost a lot to the show's budget. 21:13 Speaker 1 Uh, yeah, well, the show's budget's at zero already. 21:16 Speaker 1 Now we're into my budget. 21:19 Speaker 1 So I think so far I, okay, so 2000 for the toes 21:23 Speaker 1 And 1,700 for tires that aren't even on there yet. 21:26 Speaker 1 I paid half of that. 21:28 Speaker 1 So that we're looking at probably 4,500 right out the bat. 21:32 Speaker 1 And they're not even here yet. 21:33 Speaker 1 But the guy that took the lean to gave you some cash, 21:38 Speaker 1 I am chipping in 500. 21:40 Speaker 1 I'm chipping in 500. 21:42 Speaker 1 So that's $3,200 where you're at. 21:45 Speaker 1 Well, why don't you just keep that 500? 21:47 Speaker 1 Because if not, I was going to have to just give you $500 back, 21:50 Speaker 1 right? 21:51 Speaker 1 No, I'm putting in 500. 21:52 Speaker 1 you're putting in 500. 21:55 Speaker 1 On top of my 3800 already. 21:58 Speaker 1 What's up. 22:00 Speaker 1 Let's see how fast the guys can get done with the job tomorrow or Monday. 22:04 Speaker 1 If they, I'm going to try to get them in and out in 30 minutes. 22:06 Speaker 1 And then that was pretty quick. 22:08 Speaker 1 They're just, they're just doing the shit that's leaning over the parking lot, right? 22:10 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's drop, drop, drop dude. 22:11 Speaker 1 I'm in and out. 22:14 Speaker 1 It's going to be such a short job that I need them to call me back and be like, yo, dude, 22:18 Speaker 1 what did you do? 22:19 Speaker 1 You cut down two trees. 22:20 Speaker 1 I'm like, what? 22:21 Speaker 1 Well, really? 22:21 Speaker 1 Oh, this was crazy. 22:22 Speaker 1 But we'll see how it goes. 22:24 Speaker 1 But yeah, so that's good. 22:25 Speaker 1 So Brandon's going to be able to get the bus all together. 22:27 Speaker 1 We're going to be able to have this thing hopefully for the event June 7th. 22:30 Speaker 1 It'll be completed on what? 22:31 Speaker 1 Yeah, fuck now. 22:32 Speaker 1 Good God. 22:33 Speaker 1 The whole plan was to buy tires for the fucking 451st. 22:36 Speaker 1 So I could go ahead and get the couches and everything in there and get that bitch renovated 22:40 Speaker 1 and go ahead and get that bitch sent up to Paul or somebody to rap. 22:44 Speaker 1 And then we could have that bitch rocking a roll it. 22:46 Speaker 1 But now I had to put tires on the other fucker. 22:47 Speaker 1 So now I got to get I mean, as soon as they get here, I got to spend like fucking 10 grand 22:52 Speaker 1 on tires and inside shit. We got this. We got this. Don't worry about it. We'll take care 22:56 Speaker 1 of it. All right. You want to be a sponsor also. All right. We and you want to be on the 23:00 Speaker 1 bus. You want your your shit. You're long sponsors. All right. We're doing year long sponsors on 23:04 Speaker 1 the bus. $2,500. All right. You want those $2,500 be on the back of this bus. Your year 23:09 Speaker 1 will start when the bitch starts driving. All right. How about that? But let me know. 23:13 Speaker 1 We $2,500. So we get this bitch rocking a rolling. We do have a new sponsor that we'll 23:18 Speaker 1 We'll be talking about here this week. 23:19 Speaker 1 I've got to talk to the billboard guy today. 23:21 Speaker 1 So iron out those details, but you're going to like it. 23:24 Speaker 1 Commercial paint, Shepherd Hatfield. 23:25 Speaker 1 He's been around in the group for a while. 23:27 Speaker 1 He's listened ever since the radio. 23:29 Speaker 1 So once we get the info out for him, y'all got to start using them. 23:32 Speaker 1 If you got like a commercial setup where you need to paint it. 23:35 Speaker 1 So yeah, all right. 23:37 Speaker 1 We've also the hobo signs came in like this. 23:41 Speaker 1 Oh, those are nice, man. 23:43 Speaker 1 Those are really nice. 23:44 Speaker 1 I would spend in them earlier too. 23:45 Speaker 1 I mean, they're great. 23:46 Speaker 1 You get your fingertips a little, a little wet 23:48 Speaker 1 and it sticks perfectly to the best. 23:50 Speaker 1 Nice little bit of grip. 23:51 Speaker 1 I mean, you can, you can really like toss them around 23:54 Speaker 1 and shit. 23:54 Speaker 1 You know? 23:55 Speaker 1 Yeah. 23:56 Speaker 1 We'll have to get Mark trained up on the spinning action 23:59 Speaker 1 that we can do a class with the guys. 24:00 Speaker 1 That'd be great. 24:01 Speaker 1 Yeah, yeah. 24:02 Speaker 1 But I think, I mean, I think you can see that 24:03 Speaker 1 from far away, right? 24:04 Speaker 1 I mean, if not, yeah. 24:05 Speaker 1 You're at least at first, you're like, 24:07 Speaker 1 oh my God, what is that over there? 24:08 Speaker 1 And you want to get closer to it. 24:09 Speaker 1 So. 24:10 Speaker 1 If nothing else, it's going to, these guys, 24:12 Speaker 1 I mean, these guys are going to draw some attention. 24:13 Speaker 1 I mean, because they're not, they're not out there 24:15 Speaker 1 going, hey, get me, 24:16 Speaker 1 I need drugs or I need food, you know, or I need work. 24:20 Speaker 1 You know, that's stupid. 24:21 Speaker 1 You are working, brother. 24:22 Speaker 1 You're out there working right now and you're making 20 bucks a car. 24:26 Speaker 1 That's how this is going to roll. 24:27 Speaker 1 You're going to be rolling in. 24:28 Speaker 1 We're going to have homeless people in Atlanta making more money than people in the OTP. 24:32 Speaker 1 Okay. 24:33 Speaker 1 Because they're going to be killing it 50, 60, 70 cars a day, 24:38 Speaker 1 giving $20 a piece on how much that is mathematically, but they are going to be on some good drugs. 24:43 Speaker 1 It's going to be crazy. 24:44 Speaker 1 Super fun. 24:45 Speaker 1 you're gonna be great. Yeah, it's gonna be awesome. 24:46 Speaker 1 Like, cause it's just a snowball effect. 24:48 Speaker 1 Once people start getting in and they start getting 24:49 Speaker 1 these cleaner drugs, they're just gonna work all hours. 24:53 Speaker 1 You know, I mean, there's gonna be a 24:54 Speaker 1 four in that fucking nothing. 24:56 Speaker 1 So I'm worried right now, you know, 24:57 Speaker 1 they can't afford the good drugs, you know. 24:59 Speaker 1 So they're getting the bottom of the barrel of shitty shit. 25:01 Speaker 1 But one thing started for in that premium cocaine, 25:03 Speaker 1 that pink cocaine. 25:04 Speaker 1 Okay, no for a. 25:07 Speaker 1 Mark's gonna show up and be like, 25:08 Speaker 1 Jerry, Jerry, how many hours have you been on this corner? 25:12 Speaker 1 He's like, 72 hours boss, 72 hours, man. 25:15 Speaker 1 I got this, baby. I got this. Jerry, it can't work that many hours. It's a violation of our HR policy. 25:22 Speaker 1 Hey, tell Chuck, man, tell Chuck is cool, man. It's cool. Jerry's out here to work. 25:26 Speaker 1 You know what I'm saying? Jerry's out here to work. Okay. I'll let him know. 25:29 Speaker 1 But what's going to suck if there's a, if there's a dip in like a revenue and they might start 25:35 Speaker 1 getting aggressive with these people. That's what I'm worried about. You know, if they have 25:38 Speaker 1 a good match with the shitty drugs, you know, like they see it slipping away from them, the great 25:41 Speaker 1 life they have with all the good coke and you know, standing on the side of the corner 25:45 Speaker 1 and making this cash. They have a bad month, man. I mean, it might be a riot. No, they're 25:50 Speaker 1 not gonna have a bad month, dude. The freaking, what's the soccer game that's coming here? 25:54 Speaker 1 Oh, World Cup. World Cup's coming here. They're gonna kill it. They're gonna have all these 25:58 Speaker 1 international people giving them money. It's gonna be awesome. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it sounds good. 26:02 Speaker 1 Yeah, I like it. I think it's gonna go well. I mean, I don't see any problems arising at all 26:06 Speaker 1 from this, but, uh, you know, we'll see. I'm gonna be so proud when I drive through Atlanta, 26:10 Speaker 1 You know like once every three months to check on them and I'm like oh 26:15 Speaker 1 And they just they might start making their own signs 26:17 Speaker 1 I don't know they might like have a whole print facility back there and they might just start pumping out t-shirts and signs for us 26:23 Speaker 1 Like really open so what we got to do is me and you have to go down to Atlanta when these signs are out 26:28 Speaker 1 Right when these guys are all working and we need to go up to each one of each one of them in our car and give $20 26:35 Speaker 1 And see if they even know who we are right? 26:38 Speaker 1 I mean, they're literally holding a sign with our face on it. 26:42 Speaker 1 We got to wear the jihad. 26:43 Speaker 1 We'll wear the jihad and everything. 26:44 Speaker 1 And we'll roll up and then we'll give them 20 bucks. 26:47 Speaker 1 And if they don't say anything, we'll just move on. 26:48 Speaker 1 But if they say, hey, man, are you chucking Brandon? 26:52 Speaker 1 You branded and chucked, right? 26:53 Speaker 1 We'll give him a $100 bill right there. 26:55 Speaker 1 I guess we are. 26:56 Speaker 1 Thank you for noticing. 26:57 Speaker 1 Here's a hundred bucks. 26:57 Speaker 1 And then that's what we'll do. 26:58 Speaker 1 So that'll keep these guys motivated too. 27:01 Speaker 1 Like a chucking Brandon roll up. 27:02 Speaker 1 You got to be, you got to call them on. 27:04 Speaker 1 They're like, hey, are you chucked? 27:05 Speaker 1 Are you chucked? 27:06 Speaker 1 Are you branded? 27:06 Speaker 1 Bam. 27:07 Speaker 1 You're not you to play boys on a sad angel. 27:10 Speaker 1 You are playing boys. 27:13 Speaker 1 Speaking of playboys, I got to get this out quick. 27:16 Speaker 1 We got a short episode for you guys because obviously we got war stories today. 27:20 Speaker 1 We have a playboy that needs home. 27:21 Speaker 1 All right. 27:22 Speaker 1 Oh, wait, no. 27:23 Speaker 1 Is that a girl? 27:25 Speaker 1 No, it's a playboy. 27:27 Speaker 1 I sent you a picture of him. 27:28 Speaker 1 Oh, oh, yeah. 27:29 Speaker 1 What is wrong with you? 27:32 Speaker 1 So we got a guy. 27:34 Speaker 1 His name is Diesel. 27:35 Speaker 1 All right. 27:36 Speaker 1 He is what I guess they call an American bully. 27:40 Speaker 1 He is a very expensive dog, 27:42 Speaker 1 ridiculously expensive dog. 27:44 Speaker 1 He is a sweet dog, he's very hefty. 27:47 Speaker 1 He's very cute, he's very cuddly. 27:49 Speaker 1 The only thing I have to tell everybody 27:50 Speaker 1 is that he has what I guess they call food aggression. 27:54 Speaker 1 So when you give him food, 27:56 Speaker 1 you just gotta like walk away. 27:58 Speaker 1 You know what I'm saying? 27:58 Speaker 1 Like don't get near him or he gets a little angry at you. 28:01 Speaker 1 But the good news is he's so fat and so slow. 28:03 Speaker 1 He can't chase you down and bite you. 28:05 Speaker 1 Which is it. 28:05 Speaker 1 This feels like a fucking like a picture he sent home to his family in the 40s. 28:10 Speaker 1 Why is it in black and white? 28:11 Speaker 1 I don't know, dude. 28:12 Speaker 1 That's the I was provided a lot of photos, but I saved them to my phone. 28:16 Speaker 1 And for some reason, it saves in your phone when the picture was taken. 28:20 Speaker 1 So I had to go back. 28:21 Speaker 1 It was like, I had to go back like a year to get these pictures in my in my 28:24 Speaker 1 camera room. 28:25 Speaker 1 Like this is stupid. 28:26 Speaker 1 So I just copy and pasted this one sentence to you. 28:28 Speaker 1 That's what we're going to use. 28:29 Speaker 1 Don't worry about why are you worried about the picture quality? 28:31 Speaker 1 Well, it just looks terrible. 28:32 Speaker 1 You're trying to get rid of a dog. 28:34 Speaker 1 It just this makes him look like it's at a horror fucking film or something. Oh, 28:37 Speaker 1 This when you sent me this picture the first thing I thought was what the fuck is wrong with the bottom half of this dog 28:42 Speaker 1 I hadn't clicked on it, but I saw it was black and white. I was like it's gotta be a mutilated dog or something 28:46 Speaker 1 Click on it. I don't understand what's going on here. Why is it dog in black and white? 28:50 Speaker 1 He said he said he's he's homeless. So so diesel here 28:54 Speaker 1 He is the dog of our our mechanic Mike our boy that's moving to uh, florida 28:59 Speaker 1 He's moved to Daytona. 29:01 Speaker 1 Mike is, he always thinks things through. 29:03 Speaker 1 He's a very smart man. 29:04 Speaker 1 So he's moving into a 40 foot trailer 29:06 Speaker 1 with a family of five, genius, right? 29:09 Speaker 1 So he said, hey, Chuck, I can't take the animals. 29:12 Speaker 1 So I have his cats. 29:14 Speaker 1 His cats are in my backyard right now. 29:16 Speaker 1 They're in the outdoor cats. 29:18 Speaker 1 My kids are playing with them. 29:19 Speaker 1 They're sitting on a couch. 29:20 Speaker 1 They're all playing. 29:21 Speaker 1 Meghan just took them like an entire salmon. 29:23 Speaker 1 I mean, these cats are living their best life. 29:25 Speaker 1 Meghan is very excited. 29:27 Speaker 1 So the cat's taken care of. 29:28 Speaker 1 He gave his pig to a pop belly pig to a pig rescue. 29:33 Speaker 1 Well, then Diesel, the breeder that sold him diesel said, 29:36 Speaker 1 Hey, I'll take him back, right? 29:39 Speaker 1 Well, the breeder has other American bullies. 29:41 Speaker 1 And allegedly yesterday, Diesel got his food given to him 29:47 Speaker 1 and Diesel decided he was gonna flip the F out 29:50 Speaker 1 and attack every dog that was within five feet of him. 29:53 Speaker 1 And the breeder about had a heart attack 29:55 Speaker 1 because these dogs are pretty expensive 29:57 Speaker 1 and diesel with all of them. 30:00 Speaker 1 So say if you have kids, Brian, I get dog for you. 30:04 Speaker 1 I'm not, I don't know, cause Mike has a lot of kids. 30:06 Speaker 1 The thing is, I guess it's just food aggression 30:08 Speaker 1 and you could probably teach him how to not do it 30:10 Speaker 1 if you have the time and you want to. 30:12 Speaker 1 But it's a free dog, it's an American bully. 30:14 Speaker 1 Mike got him back today. 30:16 Speaker 1 He leaves in one week for Daytona. 30:18 Speaker 1 If he does not have a good home and Mike said, 30:21 Speaker 1 the only, this is from Mike, it's not from me. 30:25 Speaker 1 The only two people that are not allowed to adopt diesel 30:27 Speaker 1 is crazy Mark and Josh gives. 30:29 Speaker 1 And that was, I'm not kidding. 30:32 Speaker 1 I'm not kidding. 30:32 Speaker 1 That is exactly what, that's exactly what Mike said. 30:35 Speaker 1 So if you guys have a problem with that, 30:36 Speaker 1 reach out to Mike and get you in touch with him. 30:38 Speaker 1 But those are the only two people 30:40 Speaker 1 that are off the adoption list. 30:41 Speaker 1 So if anybody wants an American bully, 30:43 Speaker 1 which are very expensive dogs, 30:44 Speaker 1 he's a beautiful dog, he's hilarious, he's fat, he's slow, 30:48 Speaker 1 he can be trained any way you want, whatever. 30:50 Speaker 1 He is an indoor dog, obviously. 30:52 Speaker 1 If you want him free of charge, good home, 30:54 Speaker 1 get him to you this week. But please guys help us out. We wanted to go to a good home. We don't want 30:58 Speaker 1 him to have to whatever Mike's next plan is. I don't know what it is. But I don't want to know. 31:02 Speaker 1 I think you guys, we have a good enough listeners that we have somebody here that says, I can take 31:06 Speaker 1 care of this dog and give him a lovey. Yeah, he might have to put him in the circus and that would 31:10 Speaker 1 suck. Okay, I told you about that guy that one of our buddies that lives down lives down here. 31:18 Speaker 1 He's got a wife, right? They're not I think they're just engaged, but she's fucking crazy, right? 31:22 Speaker 1 And she she wanted to invite a girl that she went to high school with 31:27 Speaker 1 Apparently this girl after high school August forgot a day to her for like a week 31:31 Speaker 1 And we went over to house and smoked weed and it was very weird, but he started as soon as I got done with school 31:36 Speaker 1 She joined the circus 31:39 Speaker 1 Got like 31:41 Speaker 1 Right or pimped out by the circus ringleader 31:43 Speaker 1 And then she had two kids with them and then she kept doing the circus for like another year and she's like yeah 31:48 Speaker 1 I don't really like this life 31:50 Speaker 1 So she was trying to move that girl into our buddy's house. It's like a too bad house 31:56 Speaker 1 And he's already got a kid and he's like hell no. I don't want those barnyard kids around my kids 32:01 Speaker 1 What the fuck's wrong with you this fucking circus freaks hell no, I just thought that was crazy 32:04 Speaker 1 It's kind of like this situation like you don't want to join the circus. I don't even know how you're comparing the two 32:10 Speaker 1 Or what's going on with that? He's well has to go to the circus 32:12 Speaker 1 I 32:16 Speaker 1 It's a male dog that you're comparing to a girl you dated that literally joins 32:20 Speaker 1 Oh, no, no, I did not date her you said you dated her for a week. Oh deaf August did oh 32:27 Speaker 1 Didn't make love over did he make love to her I think so it was a long time ago 32:33 Speaker 1 We're like right out of high school or I was still in high school 32:36 Speaker 1 I might have I might have still been in and he just graduated but shortly after that 32:39 Speaker 1 I don't know if the relationship was so bad this year's I gotta go, you know, get pimped out by a circus freak, but really after that she did. 32:46 Speaker 1 Okay. 32:48 Speaker 1 That's a really, that's a really good story. 32:50 Speaker 1 So, hey, because we only got 15, 20 minutes left, I gotta get into this. 32:54 Speaker 1 This is a big deal. What's going on right now? I don't know if, you know, that's all we want around here on the Daily No Show, damn it. 55:14 Speaker 1 It just feels like our hard work's paying off, my God. 55:17 Speaker 1 All right. Just help us, please help us in the light of the end of the tunnel. 55:20 Speaker 1 Thank you very much. 55:21 Speaker 1 Chuck, you gotta think to add that before we get into war stories. 55:25 Speaker 1 I just wanted to apologize for all the vulgarities that Brandon threw out on this episode that 55:29 Speaker 1 had no place to be here. 55:32 Speaker 1 I had to, I had to do it. 55:33 Speaker 1 Because I know you won't, and I know how you actually feel, but you won't do it. 55:37 Speaker 1 Alright, we'll go and get into what the Chuck. 55:41 Speaker 1 When she hates war, good job. 55:44 Speaker 1 I like how you change your wish, good job. 55:46 Speaker 1 I like how you change your wish, good job. 55:47 Speaker 1 So hey, this one's a good one. It was actually about a buddy of mine named Taylor Jeremiah 56:59 Speaker 1 He passed about five years ago 57:04 Speaker 1 But I remember every Friday night we would get drunk like hammered and he would get to the point where he would just you 57:12 Speaker 1 Couldn't even understand it right he would be slurring he would do whatever 57:16 Speaker 1 then we would order dominoes. 57:19 Speaker 1 But he would always be the one. 57:20 Speaker 1 Yeah, there was a dominoes on the base. 57:23 Speaker 1 Like, I don't know if it's still there, 57:24 Speaker 1 but there's dominoes right there on base. 57:26 Speaker 1 And like he would go ahead and order it. 57:30 Speaker 1 He would always be the one ordered it. 57:32 Speaker 1 But you would not, he was like, so like mumbles. 57:38 Speaker 1 And we were like, do they even know what you're saying? 57:40 Speaker 1 And you would just do it. 57:42 Speaker 1 But every time, I don't know if they were just used 57:44 Speaker 1 to the timing that he would order or what, 57:47 Speaker 1 but his order would come exactly the way that he wanted. 57:51 Speaker 1 And it was always the little chicken nuggets, 57:54 Speaker 1 the little whatever chicken tenders they had at Domino's 57:56 Speaker 1 at that time. 57:58 Speaker 1 And he would get the box who'd get two-o, 58:01 Speaker 1 but then they had a ranch dressing and a buffalo. 58:04 Speaker 1 And what this dude would do, he would open them 58:06 Speaker 1 and just look at like literally just stare 58:10 Speaker 1 at the chicken tender and then just dip his whole hand 58:14 Speaker 1 And to each of the sauces, as the sauce is like dripping down, 58:20 Speaker 1 he just would just start like licking it and eating it. 58:23 Speaker 1 You're like, dude, this is like the messiest stuff ever. 58:27 Speaker 1 But yeah, he was something else. 58:29 Speaker 1 Yeah, every Friday night we would just sit there 58:32 Speaker 1 and just, it was just like a show. 58:34 Speaker 1 Like he would get there and you're just like, 58:36 Speaker 1 there you go. 58:36 Speaker 1 He would do it every time. 58:38 Speaker 1 Get hammered in lick ranch 58:40 Speaker 1 and buffalo sauce off of his hand. 58:42 Speaker 1 Yep, and you know, I mean, Marines have a, 58:46 Speaker 1 you know this, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not throwing you 58:48 Speaker 1 under the bus here. 58:49 Speaker 1 Marines have a little bit of a reputation, okay? 58:51 Speaker 1 Every time they're around, there's always something 58:53 Speaker 1 that's gonna go down. 58:54 Speaker 1 I mean, they always find trouble. 58:56 Speaker 1 Being in Hawaii, I can imagine, I mean, 58:59 Speaker 1 how much stuff did you see with Marines 59:01 Speaker 1 that would go off base and do something crazy? 59:04 Speaker 1 A lot. 59:05 Speaker 1 Always it would be, always Marines fighting the, 59:08 Speaker 1 it would always be Marines and army fighting. 59:10 Speaker 1 For some, like that was it. 59:12 Speaker 1 They would find them out and we would fight. 59:14 Speaker 1 Then they would come up with their own little war stories. 59:17 Speaker 1 They would come up with like, it was during that time 59:19 Speaker 1 where everyone was deploying. 59:21 Speaker 1 So everyone was like, oh, I've been here, I've been there. 59:24 Speaker 1 Which one is here? 59:25 Speaker 1 Yeah, all that stuff. 59:27 Speaker 1 And then if someone did like something, yeah. 59:30 Speaker 1 But Hawaii, yeah, it was always that. 59:31 Speaker 1 Then you would have to worry about the locals too. 59:34 Speaker 1 The locals would not like Marines at all. 59:38 Speaker 1 Why is that? 59:39 Speaker 1 Because you guys are out there taking the girlfriend's role. 59:42 Speaker 1 I think it's because of people with attitudes sometimes, 59:46 Speaker 1 drunk, always getting all that stuff, 59:48 Speaker 1 trying to addict swing contests. 59:50 Speaker 1 So yeah. 59:51 Speaker 1 Yeah. 59:52 Speaker 1 That makes sense. 59:52 Speaker 1 I know we almost took a job in Hawaii back in 2009. 59:57 Speaker 1 And I applied for the position. 59:59 Speaker 1 The individual that was hiring was Hawaiian. 1:00:01 Speaker 1 And I had a family at the time. 1:00:02 Speaker 1 And he called me and he goes, hey, man, 1:00:04 Speaker 1 you were the most qualified candidate, 1:00:06 Speaker 1 but I'm not going to select you, 1:00:07 Speaker 1 because you do not want to move here with your family. 1:00:10 Speaker 1 I'm going, what are you talking about? 1:00:12 Speaker 1 He goes, dude, I'm a lion. 1:00:14 Speaker 1 And I'll tell you that Hawaii is one of the most racist places 1:00:16 Speaker 1 on the face of the Earth against white people. 1:00:18 Speaker 1 And he goes, just don't want your kids in these schools. 1:00:20 Speaker 1 They'll be tortured by the Hawaiian. 1:00:22 Speaker 1 And I'm like, what? 1:00:24 Speaker 1 So I'm glad I didn't go. 1:00:25 Speaker 1 And then the cost of living is just exuberant. 1:00:27 Speaker 1 I mean, you can't really afford unless you're making a lot of money. 1:00:30 Speaker 1 Yeah, I try to stay after I got out, 1:00:32 Speaker 1 but it just was the cost of living, everything like that. 1:00:35 Speaker 1 So it's like, no, there was no kids. 1:00:37 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's tough. So talk to me about your deployment. So in what years did you deploy 1:00:42 Speaker 1 to Afghanistan and Iraq and all that? All right, Iraq, I deployed 2007 to 2008. 1:00:49 Speaker 1 Then that was in Karma Iraq during that time. Then my second deployment was to 1:00:58 Speaker 1 Afghanistan that that was, I want to say like the Helmand province, but that was 2000, 1:01:06 Speaker 1 the end of 2008 to middle of 2009. And then my final deployment was 2010 to 2011. That was 1:01:16 Speaker 1 to Treknawa, Afghanistan. So do Marines deploy for six months or a year? 1:01:22 Speaker 1 We deploy for like six to seven months depending on like if you're at Bon or the advanced party 1:01:27 Speaker 1 or not. So yeah. All right. So you so collectively, you know, I mean, you spend at least 18 months 1:01:34 Speaker 1 in a war zone. So in that 18 months, I mean, and dude, I don't want you to limit this to one. 1:01:41 Speaker 1 I mean, I don't know, right? But can you give me some examples of some times that, 1:01:45 Speaker 1 you know, you're in these hot zones or you're in these combat areas, and there were situations 1:01:50 Speaker 1 that happened that you're like, dude, I shouldn't have came home from that, right? I mean, because 1:01:53 Speaker 1 I think there's probably a few of them for you. But can you give us a few of those? 1:01:56 Speaker 1 Yeah, there was one actually, I remember we were getting, it was one of my final deployment, 1:02:05 Speaker 1 we were getting like some incoming, like getting some small arms fire. And all of a sudden it's 1:02:11 Speaker 1 like we couldn't figure out where it was, but we were all in a ditch. And I remember we 1:02:17 Speaker 1 saw where it was coming from, but we didn't see exactly so we can get like real identification. 1:02:22 Speaker 1 So I went ahead, at that time I was a squad leader. 1:02:25 Speaker 1 So I got up and I told my guys, I took a team with me and we tried to flank around. 1:02:31 Speaker 1 So we did something called run the rabbit. 1:02:33 Speaker 1 We're basically it was like 600 meters of open ground, like we were running and ducking 1:02:39 Speaker 1 covering as best as we could. 1:02:42 Speaker 1 And at that time I wasn't thinking at all, like what was going on. 1:02:46 Speaker 1 I was just making sure we got there. 1:02:47 Speaker 1 So finally we had air support come in and get the guys. 1:02:52 Speaker 1 But after I came back and we chilled out, all the guys were saying like, I don't see 1:02:58 Speaker 1 how y'all got it. 1:02:59 Speaker 1 We're still there because every round was hitting near one of y'all. 1:03:04 Speaker 1 All we were seeing were just like this shit just hitting the ground. 1:03:08 Speaker 1 And he was like, it was coming right beside everybody. 1:03:11 Speaker 1 And we were like, we're surprised no one got injured. 1:03:14 Speaker 1 That's crazy. 1:03:15 Speaker 1 Well, you guys are taking the fire as you were running, 1:03:17 Speaker 1 but you guys are just trying to a flank maneuver. 1:03:19 Speaker 1 Yeah, we were just trying to do a flank 1:03:20 Speaker 1 so that at least get some type of identification 1:03:23 Speaker 1 on the person or whatever, the group. 1:03:26 Speaker 1 And about that time, that's whenever, yeah. 1:03:28 Speaker 1 But after we calmed down, everyone's like, dude, 1:03:30 Speaker 1 that was like literally, 1:03:31 Speaker 1 because we were in the wide open. 1:03:33 Speaker 1 It was a 600 meters and it was just like a dead sprint 1:03:36 Speaker 1 the whole time just trying to see what happened. 1:03:38 Speaker 1 And you were the squad leader for all that? 1:03:39 Speaker 1 Yeah, I was a squad leader. 1:03:41 Speaker 1 So in the Marines, I don't know, 1:03:42 Speaker 1 I think it's the same with every branch, 1:03:44 Speaker 1 but in the Air Force of squads 12 guys, right? 1:03:47 Speaker 1 And 13 including the squad leader 1:03:49 Speaker 1 and then you got three fire teams that are with you. 1:03:51 Speaker 1 So in this situation, you just took one fire team with you 1:03:53 Speaker 1 that you take. 1:03:54 Speaker 1 So you just had a four, 1:03:56 Speaker 1 and I'm guessing you had like a 249 gunner, 1:03:59 Speaker 1 a couple in force, whatever. 1:04:01 Speaker 1 And then you guys did it. 1:04:02 Speaker 1 So were they very happy with you? 1:04:05 Speaker 1 And with it. 1:04:05 Speaker 1 Yeah, it was one of the got it. 1:04:06 Speaker 1 It was good. 1:04:08 Speaker 1 I ended up getting a Navy accommodation medal for it. 1:04:12 Speaker 1 So yeah. 1:04:13 Speaker 1 with that for that action? 1:04:15 Speaker 1 Yeah, well, it was several more, 1:04:16 Speaker 1 but that was the one that like really, yeah, 1:04:19 Speaker 1 I had that and then I got, 1:04:20 Speaker 1 that was my second one with a combat beat. 1:04:22 Speaker 1 So yeah. 1:04:23 Speaker 1 Holy cow. 1:04:24 Speaker 1 So you get, so I mean, when these things are done, 1:04:27 Speaker 1 cause you know, we've had other guys on that, 1:04:29 Speaker 1 we actually had a bronze star with valor winner 1:04:32 Speaker 1 and we were talking about after it was over 1:04:34 Speaker 1 and you sit down and you have to write the report, 1:04:36 Speaker 1 you have to kind of say, 1:04:37 Speaker 1 okay, this is the combat action we had. 1:04:39 Speaker 1 And then, you know, that's kind of when you sit down 1:04:42 Speaker 1 And you're like, okay, well, what happened? 1:04:44 Speaker 1 And all the guys are with you and they're going, dude, 1:04:46 Speaker 1 you guys were taking a heavy fire. 1:04:48 Speaker 1 That's your running. 1:04:50 Speaker 1 Yeah, that was like the type of stuff 1:04:53 Speaker 1 because you're at, because your gentleman's going so much 1:04:56 Speaker 1 and you're just too busy trying to coordinate 1:04:58 Speaker 1 that you don't really see the actual, 1:05:01 Speaker 1 you're not tunnel vision, 1:05:02 Speaker 1 but like you just don't feel that other stuff going around. 1:05:06 Speaker 1 You're just ensuring you get that, 1:05:07 Speaker 1 but then it was just like shit. 1:05:09 Speaker 1 And once you calm down and it's like, 1:05:10 Speaker 1 yeah, I could have done it. 1:05:12 Speaker 1 So it's been how long has it been since you got out? 1:05:16 Speaker 1 Going on 12 years. 1:05:18 Speaker 1 12 years. 1:05:19 Speaker 1 I got out in 2014. 1:05:21 Speaker 1 And so you'd mentioned that your buddy, the one that was ordering the Domino's, is no longer 1:05:26 Speaker 1 with us. 1:05:27 Speaker 1 If you don't mind me asking, how did he pass? 1:05:31 Speaker 1 He had his own demons that he fought with. 1:05:34 Speaker 1 So that's he did all that. 1:05:36 Speaker 1 He prayed dude, everything like that. 1:05:39 Speaker 1 He basically, I think he was off, but then taking pain meds, everything like that. 1:05:45 Speaker 1 So it's one of those things and he just one day didn't even wake up. 1:05:49 Speaker 1 See, and the reason I ask is because I've dealt with the same thing, right? 1:05:52 Speaker 1 So I mean, I got a lot of that. 1:05:54 Speaker 1 We actually had another person that did this with me and this somehow, this got brought 1:05:58 Speaker 1 up. 1:05:59 Speaker 1 And I just don't think we talk about it enough, but I just wanted to get your opinion on it. 1:06:02 Speaker 1 So I think, you know, PTSD is real, right? 1:06:05 Speaker 1 And I really do think it's a real thing. 1:06:07 Speaker 1 And I never did, I'll be honest. 1:06:08 Speaker 1 In my early on in my military career, I was like, 1:06:10 Speaker 1 this isn't that bad, right? 1:06:12 Speaker 1 This is awesome. 1:06:13 Speaker 1 I love this stuff, you know? 1:06:14 Speaker 1 But then you get older and you see things 1:06:17 Speaker 1 and you see things that guys go through. 1:06:19 Speaker 1 So what do you think, like is the, 1:06:22 Speaker 1 I guess what do you think is the answer to all this? 1:06:25 Speaker 1 Like how do we stop this from happening 1:06:27 Speaker 1 with the armed forces and the veterans? 1:06:29 Speaker 1 Yeah, I honestly, it's like, 1:06:32 Speaker 1 whenever I first got out, I didn't want to talk to anybody. 1:06:35 Speaker 1 And whenever you're in, you had it, 1:06:37 Speaker 1 but you were continually drinking, you're continually trained. 1:06:40 Speaker 1 You're doing everything while you're in, 1:06:42 Speaker 1 so your mind wasn't really focused on it. 1:06:44 Speaker 1 But once you get out in this civilian world, 1:06:47 Speaker 1 you don't wanna talk really too much. 1:06:49 Speaker 1 You don't wanna, you're holding it in 1:06:51 Speaker 1 because you have that, like, in there like, okay, 1:06:55 Speaker 1 well, people won't understand all that. 1:06:57 Speaker 1 It finally took me going to the VA 1:07:00 Speaker 1 to talk to a psychologist, anything like that, 1:07:03 Speaker 1 to actually, and I had to bring myself to it, 1:07:05 Speaker 1 because I was like that for years. 1:07:07 Speaker 1 I was drinking heavily. 1:07:11 Speaker 1 And it just finally got to me where it's like, 1:07:14 Speaker 1 okay, I gotta talk to somebody. 1:07:16 Speaker 1 No, I agree with that. 1:07:17 Speaker 1 I think that's something that's kind of a stigma. 1:07:19 Speaker 1 It's been stigmatized with a lot of military guys, 1:07:22 Speaker 1 a lot of veterans, because when you're in the military, 1:07:23 Speaker 1 and the one thing that a lot of people don't know, 1:07:24 Speaker 1 and I don't know how the Marines are. 1:07:26 Speaker 1 But I'm guessing the Marines are the same way. 1:07:28 Speaker 1 When you're in and you're on active duty, 1:07:31 Speaker 1 if you go talk to a psychiatrist, 1:07:33 Speaker 1 the first thing that's gonna happen 1:07:34 Speaker 1 is they're going to pull your weapon, right? 1:07:36 Speaker 1 So you go and you tell your leadership, 1:07:38 Speaker 1 hey man, I just need to talk to somebody. 1:07:40 Speaker 1 So what do they do? 1:07:41 Speaker 1 They put you on the weeds and seeds crew, 1:07:42 Speaker 1 they take your weapon and they go, hey, you know, 1:07:45 Speaker 1 Shane, he's not okay. 1:07:46 Speaker 1 He needs to, he needs some time. 1:07:48 Speaker 1 So now you're fighting for the next ever so long, 1:07:52 Speaker 1 whether it be weeks, months, whatever, 1:07:53 Speaker 1 trying to get back to full duty. 1:07:55 Speaker 1 But you've got to prove it, 1:07:57 Speaker 1 which when you're dealing with a mental situation, 1:07:59 Speaker 1 I'm not saying you're crazy. 1:08:00 Speaker 1 I'm not saying that you know, 1:08:01 Speaker 1 you need a psychiatrist, 1:08:02 Speaker 1 but I'm saying you're dealing with some stuff. 1:08:04 Speaker 1 And they say, okay, well now you gotta prove to us 1:08:05 Speaker 1 that you're worthy to come back and join your brothers. 1:08:08 Speaker 1 So what happens, a lot of guys don't do it. 1:08:11 Speaker 1 A lot of guys will go their entire career 1:08:13 Speaker 1 and never walk into mental health 1:08:15 Speaker 1 because they know if I walk in, 1:08:17 Speaker 1 it's gotta be reported to my management 1:08:19 Speaker 1 and then boom, you've lost your weapon. 1:08:21 Speaker 1 So I think, and I've said this before 1:08:23 Speaker 1 to even people that are still in the military, 1:08:25 Speaker 1 the one thing the military has to do 1:08:27 Speaker 1 is they need to make it unstigmatized 1:08:30 Speaker 1 where it's normal. 1:08:31 Speaker 1 It's almost like, hey, we're not gonna give you 1:08:33 Speaker 1 the option, you have to go. 1:08:35 Speaker 1 Everybody has to go, take your five minutes, 1:08:37 Speaker 1 go in there, hang out, talk, 1:08:39 Speaker 1 and let's get this rope, let's get this thing started. 1:08:42 Speaker 1 Because it takes so long and you see it, 1:08:44 Speaker 1 I mean, you just told me a story. 1:08:46 Speaker 1 You have friends that were probably in the same boat 1:08:48 Speaker 1 where they're like, I can't talk to anybody, 1:08:50 Speaker 1 you know what I mean? 1:08:51 Speaker 1 Yeah, I've had a lot of those type of friends 1:08:54 Speaker 1 and it's like, that just, yeah, 1:08:57 Speaker 1 and you sometimes don't realize as you're talking to them 1:08:59 Speaker 1 because they try to hide it so well, 1:09:01 Speaker 1 then all of a sudden it's like, it happened. 1:09:04 Speaker 1 Then you're like, oh shit, it's, yeah. 1:09:07 Speaker 1 It's like you, you don't believe it. 1:09:09 Speaker 1 Cause it's like, you know, he went well, 1:09:10 Speaker 1 but then once you start looking at it 1:09:13 Speaker 1 and it was more of, oh, he just, he didn't want to talk. 1:09:16 Speaker 1 He'd like, oh that. 1:09:17 Speaker 1 And on now as I got older, it's like, yeah, 1:09:20 Speaker 1 you have to like talk. 1:09:22 Speaker 1 You have to be able to talk and like tell, tell what's going on 1:09:25 Speaker 1 because if not, it's just going to keep in you 1:09:28 Speaker 1 and you're going to always have that guilt. 1:09:30 Speaker 1 you're always gonna have something like that, 1:09:31 Speaker 1 especially if someone passes right there in front of you. 1:09:35 Speaker 1 So did you go to Paris Island? 1:09:37 Speaker 1 Yeah, I did. 1:09:38 Speaker 1 Okay, I got at, dude, I have so many questions 1:09:42 Speaker 1 because you see the movies, 1:09:44 Speaker 1 you see all the stuff that they put out there 1:09:45 Speaker 1 about the Marines and basic training in Paris Island 1:09:49 Speaker 1 and how it is by far the worst thing you can ever go to. 1:09:52 Speaker 1 And you're, dude, it's one of the reasons 1:09:53 Speaker 1 I didn't join the Marine. 1:09:54 Speaker 1 I'll be completely honest with you. 1:09:55 Speaker 1 I went to the Marine recruiter 1:09:57 Speaker 1 and I didn't wanna go because of Paris Island. 1:09:58 Speaker 1 They want to go because he was the meanest recruiter out of all the recruiters and I was like, where's the Air Force guy at? 1:10:03 Speaker 1 You know what I mean? So I moved on immediately, but talk to you about Paris Island. What is it really that bad? 1:10:09 Speaker 1 It to me it wasn't it was more of psychological. That's really what that breaks you down to psychological 1:10:16 Speaker 1 Like I remember my drill instructor had the same last name as I did 1:10:22 Speaker 1 So I wasn't allowed. I didn't rate my last name 1:10:26 Speaker 1 So I had to take my bunk mates name the whole almost the whole like time at boot camp 1:10:33 Speaker 1 So I was like what? 1:10:35 Speaker 1 Yes, it was one of those like psychological games. So they wouldn't let you be you? 1:10:41 Speaker 1 No, they wouldn't have my own like out. Yeah 1:10:43 Speaker 1 I would like anytime you're I had to write my bunk mate and I was too I was 1:10:48 Speaker 1 Tates too, I remember. So yeah, through boot camp. Yeah, that's why. So only because my 1:10:56 Speaker 1 drill instructor, his last name was Owen, so I couldn't. That was it. But yeah, but the 1:11:02 Speaker 1 Sand Fleeves are real.
