Its accuracy may vary. 0:21 Speaker 2 brewing. I appreciate everybody out here, man. I really do. Thanks for coming. We've never done an event this early, but it's going good. I see some people that look a little confused. They don't know what's going on. We're the Daily Dose Show. My name is Brandon Thrasher. Over here's Chuck Iron Fist. How you doing buddy? 0:33 Speaker 1 I'm just excited that we were able to get you out of bed in here before noon. 0:38 Speaker 2 I know, right? Usually I'm sleeping till this time. You know, I like to recuperate from the day before. I'm more of a night owl, but I got up early just for you guys out here. 0:45 Speaker 1 My favorite, my favorite quote from you today was when we got here and you walked in and you said I need a beer and then you drank it. Well, you drank. Is that the first one? That's my second one and you said you said I don't know if it's making me feel better or worse. 0:59 Speaker 2 Yeah, I had to go throw up in the parking lot a little bit, but it's all good, man. Just had to get it out of there. But we appreciate it. Like I said, we got a lot going on here over the next couple hours. We're here till 1:00 guys, we'll be taking the stage. We'll be telling you about some raffles. Please go get your raffle tickets from the West Foundation. Talk to Tara about beer pong. We're also going to have these posters. I'm sorry, the poster behind me, everybody signs this. 1:17 We got giveaways, we got raffles. It's going to be a great day, Chuck. Is there anything else I'm forgetting to add to that? 1:22 Speaker 1 Not for the actual event itself. I think we need to enlighten people on the events that transpired over the last 48 hours which almost stopped this event from happening. 1:34 Speaker 2 Oh, you're talking about this guy behind us right here. Crazy Mark's 60th birthday. 1:38 Speaker 1 When when we call him crazy Mark, we did not know he was that crazy. And all I'm going to say is, you know, we, we, we, we brought Mark in because it's his birthday. We want to do this event. We wanted to have a great time. And like everything we do, me and Brandon are foolish shenanigans. 1:54 We're always trying to make it more entertaining for people that are listening. And so when Mark said, Hey, I want to come on the show Friday and I want to talk about the event. Did I tell you I was going to let him on the show? I maybe, no, I did not because I knew if I told Brandon I was going to let him on the show, Brandon was going to go, oh man. 2:11 And I can't control him. He's going to do it. And so I said, dude, Mark, come on the show. So he comes on the show. And we floated the idea of waxing Mark on stage to raise money for leukemia research, and Mark was not excited about it. 2:31 Speaker 2 He was not. No, he was. Well, he was. He was a little weary about the idea of a strip down the middle of his chest, and then he hopped off and you suggested we slap stuff on his nipples. 2:39 Speaker 1 So that's what that's what gets me to my next point. So while Mark was off air, I told Brandon that we could slap wax on his nipples and it would be funny 'cause he'd have to walk around the entire day with wax on his nipples, right? And the next morning, I wake up to a barrage of hateful, hateful text messages. 3:01 They were hateful. They were mean. They were unprofessional. And at that point, I realized Mark's not cut out for showbiz. 3:10 Speaker 2 Well, you know, you, you called me freaking out about it. You know, I'd normally wake up about 3:15, 3/20, you guys will be getting another another party. It'll be in the it'll be in the summer. Thank God. Dunk tank. Dunk tank again. 3:25 Speaker 1 So what did I tell you? What were the exact words I said? 3:29 Speaker 2 I remember you were gonna get him a cake or no. You said I don't know. You said F Mark or something. I don't know what words I can say here or not. You know, I see children walking around. I'm not trying to get his banned on the first time here. 3:38 Speaker 1 I said, I said some choice words about Mark and then I said, dude, I ordered him a cake from Publix. I'm canceling it right now. I'm canceling the cake and and Brandon, in all of his wisdom, he says to me, first he goes, dude, don't do that. 3:55 Mark might like do something stupid and not come to the event or he might just, you know, bounce. And then 2 seconds later Brandon goes, But you know what would be really cool? Because you should have him put a big, big red X through Mark's name on the cake and just change it to Daily Dose. And he goes, no, no, even better. 4:10 We'll find another Mark there and we'll give him the cake. And I'm like, dude, this is worse ideas than I had. And Brandon's like, yeah, you're right. I probably shouldn't do that. Brandon tried to work it out. As of right now we're at the event, it's 12 something and Mark is standing in front of me and I don't know if he wants to punch me in the face or give me a hug. 4:31 But I will say this, I am an adult Brandon and I can be professional to anyone even if they hurt my feelings through text messages. So without further ado, I'm not saying his name. You bring him on. 4:44 Speaker 2 All right, the guy wearing his own name on a shirt. Crazy Mark. Come on up, buddy. I like how I like how Mark didn't think people would be able to identify him. I mean, you're the craziest looking guy here. No offense, but I also feel like how you got 50 on the back. Like, you're dude, you can sit right there and people will see you. 4:59 Yeah, look at that. You wanted to let people know he's actually 50, not 60. But buddy, how you doing over here? 5:00. Obviously we're not going to be talking the whole time. We're going to have some bands playing. We got Distinct, Grace Duncan Brothers, we've got Danny of the Vagabonds out here and Will Turpin from Collective Soul be showing up doing a few songs. 5:00 in the morning with their flights at 11. 5:00, we are going to get back over here and do this exact same thing. Because the one thing we learned from the last event was it sucks that we do this in the beginning. 5:00, and hopefully you're still with me. 5:04 Speaker 3 I'm pretty good. Thank you for using Publix. 5:04 Speaker 3 I'm pretty good. Thank you for using Publix. My both of my sons will appreciate the stock that you guys are putting into. 5:10 Speaker 2 It there's no stocks, you cancelled it. 5:12 Speaker 1 I cancelled it. 5:13 Speaker 2 Cancelled the order, so probably. 5:15 Speaker 3 Screwed them but but the the tennery says. 5:18 Speaker 1 Cake. You'll see. Oh fuck. Fudge. 5:24 Speaker 2 It wasn't me. It's supposed to be APG show over here. Sorry, sorry. 5:27 Speaker 1 So Mark, we are on a tight schedule here, but we did want to bring you on. It is your birthday. This is something that we put together a long time ago when we had our first event at Pontoon Brewery. It went really, really well. And we said, dude, we got to do this again. We want to do this at least twice a year. Get everybody together and see all these people that we see comments from or we, you guys, you guys hear from us daily. 5:44 We're like, we got to get everybody together. Well, Mark was doing damn that scary with us and he said, you know what's funny is my birthdays around that time. 5:54 Speaker 3 And you like hey. 5:56 Speaker 1 5:56 Speaker 1 And I said, I think I can get you Tesla. I think I can get the band Tesla out there. Marks like oh you gotta make this my birthday so we didn't get Tesla we. 6:05 Speaker 3 Got somebody better? 6:06 Speaker 1 We got you Duncan Brothers Band, we got you the Vagabonds, we got you Will Turpin. He's so we did pretty good. But Mark, is there anything you want to say to everybody about your birthday? I mean, you got a lot of stuff going on today. We got a lot of stuff planned for you. But what do you want to tell everybody while you're up here for the last time on the show? 6:21 For real this time. 6:24 Speaker 3 I'm going to go give him a punch in the nose real quick. Hang on. 6:28 Speaker 2 Don't RIP my cords out. 6:29 Speaker 3 All right, all right. I want to thank everybody for coming. My kids are probably pulling up right now. They're coming, too. I love you guys's background. That is a sexy son of a gun behind you. Yeah. 6:40 Speaker 2 We're going to take this poster down after we're done recording and put it over here. He wants everybody to sign it, he specifically said. 6:45 Speaker 3 Everybody at the vent, I want you to sign. 6:47 Speaker 2 6:47 Speaker 2 Specifically, little penises on his face. 6:49 Speaker 3 Do not put any penises on the face. Please, please, please, please. Thank you, Chuck, Brandon, I appreciate you guys everywhere. Everybody else here at New Realm, thank you guys for putting up with these three crazy people up here. 7:03 Speaker 1 Three, he named himself. 7:04 Speaker 3 Out. There's three crazy people up here. I'm not the only crazy. 7:07 Speaker 1 One do me a favor, if you wouldn't mind, Mark, can you go grab Sarah from the West Foundation and have her come over here and join us? 7:12 Speaker 3 Yeah, and just so you guys know, my girlfriend is real. She is actually here on site. Chuck has seen her. 7:18 Speaker 1 And she has not smiled one time. 7:20 Speaker 3 Yes, she has. 7:21 Speaker 1 I'm literally looking at this sad woman and I'm like, why are you with Mark? You know, And she's like, she's like I'll. 7:29 Speaker 3 Get her to come over here too, but she's going. 7:31 Speaker 1 To come over and just start grabbing our frozen. 7:33 Speaker 3 Are you over there all? 7:34 Speaker 2 Right, go get Sarah. 7:36 Speaker 1 7:36 Speaker 1 Good God. 7:38 Speaker 2 I don't know, is Matt here yet? I sent him an Uber and I forgot. I didn't change the name so I don't know if he was able to make it or not, but Chuck promised him we'd get him here and I don't think he realized how much an Uber cost to get from Pendergrass. I don't even know where Pendergrass is. I don't even sound real. Sounds like Bluegrass in Kentucky. 7:54 Speaker 1 So it's north of Chateau LAN on I-85. It's up by Brazelton. It was, it's passed. Is this? Is this him? 8:00 this morning. He's like, you awake? I'm like, yeah, I'm awake. I'm getting ready. I went back to sleep for 30 minutes, and then I woke up. But procrastination, Yeah, I got here just on time, too. I got here, you know, just enough time for me to do my duties, drink a beer and chill out. And then we were good to go, man. He's like a guy that gets to the airport like 8:01 Speaker 2 Yeah, apparently so. It's. 8:03 Speaker 1 Perfect timing. So last night Brandon gives me a call and he says he says, hey man, no I'm sorry. He called me and I sent him a voicemail three times. And then Megan comes up to me and she says, Chuck, you really need to answer your phone. Brandon said it's an emergency and you're not going to be happy. 8:18 And I'm like, Oh my God, you know, like, what could go wrong today? So I'm thinking immediately, like, we got so and so that cancelled or, or new realm, you know, had some type of his. Jesus, are you serious, child? Last time on the show Anyway, so, so he says, hey man, I got the guy that we're Ubering to the event and I just booked his Uber to get here. 8:30 because last night I, I couldn't sleep because I was so excited about this. Yep, thank you to Dean. So I get here, Duncan brothers pull up and and they were loading in the stage because remember, we didn't have a stage. 8:42 And I'm like, OK. And he goes, you're going to be so pissed when you know how much you have to pay to get him back. So how much was his? 8:48 Speaker 2 Uber here. Well, if I was going to Uber him here like that the exact time, like last night, it was like $180. But luckily the schedule, you schedule it and it's a lot cheaper. It's 93. Or we could have got him an Uber Black for $242.00, but I figured it'd be all right. 9:00 and we decided we were going to load it. I actually got here at 9:04 Speaker 1 So when you told me that, I immediately looked at where Pendergrass is and I realized at that point, I have somebody riding shotgun with me back today, baby. So congratulations, you're here for the whole event because dude, that's an expensive Uber. 9:20 Now, I will say Sarah, Sarah from the West Foundation, she actually lives up in that area too. So you know what her husband would love more than anything is for us to put a strange man in the car with her to ride all the way home. So maybe we'll work that out with Sarah. We'll ask her now, Sarah from the West Foundation. 9:37 Speaker 4 I got a minivan. I could take 5 or 6. 9:40 Speaker 1 Yeah, there's what we wanted to hear. So you came out here. The West Foundation was a part of our last event. When the event happened, Sarah actually was out of town. She was in Florida with her family, and I've never seen someone happier to do an event that she didn't have to be a part of. 9:55 She was like, yeah, just send me money whenever you get it. And then they thought they were in the clear until day of we realized we had no water for the dunk tank. 10:05 Speaker 2 We're about to just break our legs in this dunk tank. It was about to be bad. 10:08 Speaker 1 And we called, we called your husband Tim, and said, hey, man, what can you do? And he delivered very well. 10:14 Speaker 2 Oh, he was the water. 10:14 Speaker 1 Man he was. The water man he was. 10:16 Speaker 4 The water. 10:17 Speaker 1 Guy so they did have to do something for the So Sarah, tell us a little bit about the West Foundation and why you're out here. You're going to be talking to the crowd a little later, but what are you looking at? Like what are you guys doing? You guys still doing research? Did you guys find a cure yet in Africa? 10:31 Speaker 4 So what we do is the West Leukemia Research Foundations, we raise funds each and every year. So everything that we do, so every dollar that you guys help us raise and every dollar that comes in today will completely, 100% go to funding research. 10:48 And we have researchers in Africa and all over the world who submit research grants to us and they are, we choose ones that are pursuing new innovative research. So people that might have some crazy off the wall ideas, we have a medical Advisory Board. 11:05 So it's not just me or you looking at these applications. And they're like, yeah, that looks pretty cool, let's try that. No, we have a medical Advisory Board that's from Emory and they go through all of the researchers grants and their submissions and then they choose the top ones and we fund those. 11:21 So we actually just funded another one in October. We sent someone a $50,000 check and they will be pursuing their research this year. 11:28 Speaker 1 No, just out of curiosity because me and Brandon have had a lot of off air conversations about this, all right. And when it comes to leukemia, it's a serious thing when you go to events and people don't donate to you or they don't want to get the extra raffle ticket. 11:44 Do you ever just say it's OK that you're OK and you love cancer, It's OK that you hate leukemia? Research is there. It's OK that you don't want to save people's life. Do you ever do that 'cause that's what we've been doing a lot of? 11:55 Speaker 4 Nope, and I will leave that all to. 11:56 Speaker 2 You. Yeah, every time we talk to someone about it. Oh, you like cancer? That's cool. That's right. I understand that. I understand. That's cool. You like you want to pass it along. So. But no, we are doing with the West Foundation of leukemia research. If you're new here and you don't know what's going on, we're giving away raffle tickets at $20 apiece and we're raffling off a seven day trip down to Mexico. 12:00 and I'm getting blown up from Mark and Chuck. I'm like, oh God, like, how do I end up being HR on the show? I'm the last guy that needs to be doing human resources or solving problems, because I'll just tell you both off like you're both a bunch of idiots. All right, Just chill out. 12:14 All paid for thanks to us. Jose Epon Stockbridge, he'll be here a little later. Verified homeless services, the West Foundation and did you do Nate from Hanson hiatus who will be your tour guide? So seven days in Plato Carmen lodging, airfare taken care of and you got a built in tour guide. That's one of the raffles we're doing with the West Foundation. 12:22. We got about 20-3 minutes in for our itinerary. 12:30 And you, you, you brought some other things too, correct We. 12:33 Speaker 4 12:33 Speaker 4 Got a gun, we got a. 12:34 Speaker 2 Shotgun. A shotgun. Sweet. Don't tell us if you're a felon, all right? We're just going to give it to you in the park. Just get out of here. 12:40 Speaker 1 Sarah's like, Oh my God, all that money that was going to go to leukemia research is now going to get Sarah out of jail. 12:48 Speaker 2 The Mad Dog will be here. He'll give us a little cut so. 12:50 Speaker 1 Sarah, explain how this works. Just I mean, you get you can't pick a better raffle item in my opinion than a firearm in the South. Now, we talked about this and you're like, we've done firearms in the past. So without Brandon trying to get you arrested, how does that work if somebody wins a raffle? 13:06 Speaker 4 We work with 9 Bar Solutions up in Lawrenceville and they've, they've been a fantastic supporter of the West Foundation. So we've done this at a a couple different events as well. So if you win the certificate today, I have a certificate that I will give you and I'll take your name. You can have my information as well and you will go to 9 Bar Solutions and you will get the gun with and from them you'll get all the paperwork. 13:29 Speaker 1 That's what that's the key is that you'll actually have to pass a background check. 13:33 Speaker 4 Yes. Not at my minivan, so maybe. 13:34 Speaker 1 What we'll do is we will let everybody know when we get ready to raffle the gun off. This is for the gun. That way, if you happen to have the ticket and you happen to have a felony, you just look around and go they're not here. 13:51 Speaker 2 I don't know who it could be. Not me. 13:52 Speaker 1 And hold out. Hold out for the like, autographed hockey puck or something, I don't know. Just don't tell people you're a felon unless you want to tell them you're a felon. Mark's a felon. 14:01 Speaker 2 Allegedly. Not yet. Not quite. Not quite. We'll see, Matt. 14:06 Speaker 1 Doctor law firm will be here today. If anybody has any questions for Manny. The one thing I know he wants to do is talk about legal questions and work while he's here. I know my wife's having surgery on her foot again. She had her bunion removed and my sister-in-law last night said that sounds like medical malpractice. 14:24 And Megan goes, I'm going to talk to Mandy tomorrow. I'm like, dude, the guy's like he's going to be sitting in the corner taking names and getting referrals. Stupid. But anyway, thank you Sarah so much. So Sarah will be set up over here, guys around the corner. She will be selling the raffle tickets. 14:40 The one thing Brandon knows, we just worked this out. They're $20 a piece for the raffle tickets. Those raffle tickets are good for all the raffles today. So even if we pull it and we look at it and you win, we're putting it back in. We're not taking it out and throwing it away so you can keep winning. 14:55 The special is, I did some good math here. 5 raffle tickets should cost $100. But if you give her $100, you get 8, you get 8 raffle tickets. And we also have some giveaways we'll be doing later with that. But I just wanted to make sure we pointed that out. So, Sarah, thank you so much. 15:11 Speaker 4 Thank you guys for doing this and happy birthday to Mark. 15:14 Speaker 1 Happy birthday Crazy Mark. And Mark brought his son to see he has to prove that his son exists too. Look at that. It's so weird that he has to prove everything exists. 15:24 Speaker 2 I know like he's just like he just makes things up about his life and then he just OK, all right, his ex wife's here too. Great. We're about to have a whole family feud. 15:33 Speaker 1 Going Doctor Phil's going to be in here. 15:35 Speaker 2 It's really filling up quickly, so we're not going to be able to see the mosh pit going on over there. I. 15:39 Speaker 1 Don't know what he's saying. No, we'll tell people before we get off that people can do that. Now the other thing is beer pong. Some of you guys play beer pong. People play beer pong in here. We have beer pong tournament going on in this room right behind us. It's $10 per person to enter. 15:56 We only are accepting 8 teams. Tara's managing it. She's got the the grid over here. Winning team walks away with 80 bucks. So you put in 20 bucks a team, walk away with 80. And just to spice it up a little bit I have a raffle ticket in my pocket I will give to the winning team because I'm thinking you 2 would want to go to Mexico together. 16:13 The would be weird if they didn't though. 16:15 Speaker 2 Yeah, the the we're not keeping the other half of the raffle We're giving the West Foundation. You made it sound like we're keeping it just like I'm putting that in my pocket. 16:21 Speaker 1 That's going to me and no, it's going to Brandon because he pays for Ubers. 16:26 Speaker 2 So no, we got that going on. It's going to be great. Like you said, after we wrap up here in about 20 minutes, we're going to have the band start kicking off. Chuck's daughter should be here shortly selling her bracelets. I heard she made about 80, is that correct? 86 bracelets. Oh, Jerista, what do they look like? 16:40 Speaker 1 I have 3 on right now. They're actually really high class and these will be for sale at the end of the show. Just don't tell my daughter. 16:47 Speaker 2 Now where's that money going? To West Foundation? Or is she pocketing that? 16:49 Speaker 1 That she's pocketing all. Oh God, what there was there was not one. And you know who just walked in? I got Dean Stewart over here, the winner of the first guitar we ever gave. And and he's waited this long to come get it. And I said, I said, hey, man, do you want me to meet up with you and give you the guitar? 17:05 And he goes, where's the event? I said a brewery. He's like, oh, no, I'll go there. And Dean told me he was married in a brewery. Is that correct? That's the that's awesome. It's something you would. 17:15 Speaker 2 Do was it this one? No. Wait, so were you engaged at a brewery and married to one? Or do you do it like at the bar and then you like, let's spice it up and go to the brewery to get married? 17:28 Speaker 1 You found out you were pregnant at the brewery. Oh, he's kidding. I don't think he's kidding. I don't know. He's like, you really shouldn't have that fifth sour. 17:38 Speaker 2 We just bumped it up to PG13. We're headed to R, baby. We're headed to R, so you know, it's been a great time so far. We I see the Duncan brothers who made their way back over here. I think they went to get coffee. 17:49 Speaker 1 Can we get one of these Duncan brothers over here? I don't care which Duncan I want Duncan #2 I don't know. Why do you you know? 17:57 Speaker 2 That's number two. 17:58 Speaker 1 You can be come on, Duncan 1, Duncan one. So the one thing I know so this morning we got here early. We had here at 18:19 Speaker 2 Yeah, and I, I, I put it up on my my story and Haley hit me up. Said we had one. I said, look, I'll figure that out. See, Chuck said. Just post it. See which one of your redneck buddies can have it. What's in that redneck Brandon? 18:27 Speaker 1 Finally figured something out right there. So when they get here I'm getting worried. I'm getting very concerned because when I come out to play a gig I need 3 hours to set up our stuff on the ground. Mind you do a sound check and sound somewhat decent. 18:43 So the whole time they're putting the stage together, I'm looking at Tim and I'm going, there's freaking no way this happens because it was a dude. You guys were like, it was a process. Like you guys, it was like perfectly done. And then you looked at me and I said, dude, you got two hours and you're like plenty of time. And then I was like, I was like, dude, you got an hour and a half and you were like plenty of time and I'm freaking out, dude, you guys do your sound check. 19:05 You guys are like Fergie and Jesus, a whole band of Fergie and Jesus. It sounded amazing. So how I mean, is this, how often do you guys play out that you're able to do that? Are you guys playing a lot right now? 19:16 Speaker 5 We're playing a lot, yeah, we're really busy. So we've gotten really good at setting up in like 30 minutes. The stage, you know, adds a little bit, but we got to give ourselves time to go get coffee so. 19:26 Speaker 2 Yeah, I like to procrastinate, too. Chuck called me at 19:44 Like what are you doing? 19:44 Speaker 1 Always going to be on time. I will say the Duncan brothers, since we started working with this band, they've been one of the most pleasant bands to ever work with and they never say anything mean. They're not difficult. This morning was the first time one of them ever took a shot. 19:58 Speaker 2 19:58 Speaker 2 Oh wait, you. 19:59 Speaker 1 Oh, wait, me. So they're unloading the stage and I look over and I go, dude, that's so cool. You guys got your own stage. I was like, so do you guys use it a lot? And they're like, oh, we use it all the time. And I said, oh, that's cool. And then one of them goes, but we've never been paid for it. 20:12 Speaker 5 I didn't mean. I didn't mean that. 20:14 Speaker 1 And then he goes, he goes, still not getting paid. 20:17 Speaker 2 For it. Oh, you're more than welcome to take money out of the West Foundation Leukemia Research pot over there. 20:21 Speaker 1 Yeah, if you're cool with that. 20:22 Speaker 5 One around, yeah, I'm not. 20:26 Speaker 1 You do that, you get cancer too. 20:28 Speaker 2 Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think you should put your balls in the microwave. Not a good idea. 20:32 Speaker 1 So what is your guys's plans for 2026? We are here whole new year. How many gigs you guys got booked? What is your plan for this? I know we talked a little bit about you guys playing more in Atlanta, things like that. I mean you guys and you guys got your vinyl that is getting ready to be realized. See, the pre-order is already done. We highly recommend it. 20:47 Is that mostly originals or is that all covered? 20:50 Speaker 5 It's all all new originals, so there's seven originals on there and they're all acoustic, recorded live, reel to reel. They'll all be on our album to the full versions, you know, which we're working on this month, later this month. So we'll have a full album out this year along with that acoustic vinyl that'll be out and month or. 21:10 Speaker 1 Two, and you're still going to keep touring or, well, playing. 21:13 Speaker 5 Playing out, Yeah, we're trying to. We're playing out a lot. Not local to here. You know, we're out in Missouri a lot. We're in the UK this year. 21:23 Speaker 2 Oh really? Wow man, those Brits man. Beans on toast you better bring. 21:26 Speaker 5 I actually don't think I was supposed to say. 21:28 Speaker 1 That you shouldn't have said that because Brandon hates the Brits so much. OK, he he's not. Hey Chuck, man, we can't have Duncan Brothers band again. Man, they played for the Brits. 21:36 Speaker 2 They're on the red coat side, man. What's going on here? Beans and toast? 21:36 Speaker 2 They're on the red coat side, man. What's going on here? Beans and toast? You better bring your own food. And they don't. We'll sell like good nicotine over. 21:42 Speaker 5 There, well, it's a country music fest in the UK, so you know, we'll have our people. 21:45 Speaker 2 There. Oh, there you go. 21:46 Speaker 1 Yeah, that's probably going to be the only real country band. I don't know. 21:49 Speaker 2 Does UK have? 21:50 Speaker 5 Country people, I think it's all American people over there. Oh, they're just traveling. All country music. 21:55 Speaker 1 I when I, so when I lived in the UK, one of the things that I want to deal with, they had a Football League, like a actual American Football League. And I'm thinking like, dude, this is awesome. I was 23 years old. I was like, I'm going to go out there and I'm just going to be the greatest football player ever because I'm like, I'm playing with a bunch of Brits. Like they know what they're doing, right? 22:10 So I get out there and everybody's like, what's up, what's up, what's up? And I'm like, there's all the Brits and they're like, no, no Brits play. It's just Americans like this sucks, damn it. Like I'm still not good, you know? But anyway, hey, we really do appreciate you guys. We can't look, we cannot wait for your set today. It's going to be amazing. 22:26 And I just to give a little teaser, we have worked out the special guest and the special performance. It's going to take place with Mr. Will Turpin from Collective Soul. I'm not telling people when it's going to happen, but you might want to watch the Duncan Brothers set. That's all I'm going to say. 22:42 That's all I'm going to say. So thank you, man. We really do appreciate. 22:45 Speaker 5 You. Yeah, We appreciate y'all. Thank you for having us. Appreciate it. Yep. 22:49 Speaker 1 All right. So what time is it, Brandon? 22:51 Speaker 2 It's 22:55 Speaker 1 Can we address, can we address the Santeria? Santeria. The voodoo stuff we saw the what? 23:01 Speaker 2 Oh, what you talking about in the back back there? 23:03 Speaker 1 So this is what I don't understand, Brandon. Brandon is so just numb to odd things. And I see something, I take a picture of it and I'm like, dude, this is like really, really bad. And I come up to tell Brandon, I'm like, you got to come back here with me. Nothing so. 23:19 Speaker 2 It looks like our front porch, man. 23:20 Speaker 1 No, dude, dude. Mark saw it. So we go in the back and we got here early. Tim parked on the ramp to to load in on the back ramp and walk through the kitchen and come up here. So the manager said, hey man, I'll take you guys to the back warehouse door and you can load in here. 23:37 We walk back and there's a chair with a little table, cigarette ashes everywhere. Mark's actually got him on his phone. And then there's a picture of a like a black and white photo of a old couple in a picture frame on the table, a bowl of Ricola cough drops and a scorpion in a vial with liquid in it. 24:01 And I'm like, dude, this is really creepy. And the and the manager goes, this is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in my life. And really the manager tells you like this is weird. I'm like, this is weird dude. Like this is like some type of heck stuff. Let's. 24:14 Speaker 2 Bring him over. Come here real quick. So let's drink. Take a shot of the Scorpion I. 24:21 Speaker 1 Don't know, would you? Would Brandon? Will you drink it if they get it? 24:23 Speaker 2 I don't think so. 24:23 Speaker 2 I don't think so. Not right now. My stomach's already hurting right at the moment. Will you do it later? Yeah, we'll see. We'll see. Want to grab the mic real quick? Hey. 24:31 Speaker 1 Yeah, introduce yourself man. JJJTJT the newest. 24:34 Speaker 3 Spancher here, but that's the warehouse managers micro restaurant The Lanai. 24:39 Speaker 2 What? Wait, what is? 24:41 Speaker 3 What you guys are talking? 24:42 Speaker 2 About oh, OK, so so you know who left that there? 24:45 Speaker 3 Yeah, his name's Jeff. 24:46 Speaker 2 Oh, oh, so it's normal. He just does that. 24:47 Speaker 3 It's new, it's the lanai. 24:49 Speaker 1 It'll be the scorpion and the picture of mom and dad, part of the the. 24:53 Speaker 3 The flare. 24:55 Speaker 1 The flare of. 24:55 Speaker 2 What? 24:56 Speaker 3 24:56 Speaker 3 Of the lanai. 24:57 Speaker 2 What is the lanai? 24:58 Speaker 1 The restaurant micro restaurant you guys were talking about? 25:00 Speaker 2 Where I didn't see a restaurant, I just saw a beer. It's. 25:02 Speaker 1 One seater. It's it's one. 25:03 Speaker 2 Oh, what he's saying now. 25:06 Speaker 1 We showed up. 25:07 Speaker 3 He was like, you want to see the. 25:09 Speaker 1 So he just put his own little restaurant there with a scorpion and a picture of grandma and grandpa and the THC drink. Yeah. And the THC oh, that's there was a THC drink sitting right next to it. And I'm like, what? What's this? It's weirdest thing ever. But anyway, Brandon didn't even bat an eye. Didn't even care. 25:25 Speaker 2 You said it's a it's a very early morning for me right now, but it wasn't the oddest thing. You know, I was expecting like, I don't know, like used condoms, like tie in a knot or something and we were going to like film at each other. That's fun, that. 25:37 Speaker 1 Have been better. So if anybody's had the THC drinks here allegedly, and I don't know anything about THC drinks. Have you ever had a THC drink? 25:45 Speaker 2 I had they get you really high. 25:47 Speaker 1 Really. Yeah. So he said to me, I said, I said, hey, man, I'm not drinking alcohol. Oh, I'm not chewing tobacco right now. Like I'm like, really, really good. And he said, you know, what you should do is you should have a THC drink. And I said, well, what does it do? Then he goes, same thing as taking a gummy. 26:03 Get ya. So that sounds like a terrible idea. There's your child. So what I decided was this. After we get done, after Distinct Grace is done with this little show, I'm going to grab one of these THC drinks. Shut up. So I'm going to grab one of these THC drinks. 26:20 What I need is for someone that is feeling risque. No, not you. I don't like you right now. Somebody that is not crazy Mark that sends me dirty text messages. I want to share this thing with you. I just want to split it, no. 26:36 Speaker 2 You need to drink like 2 on your own and see how you feel. No? That's a good indicator on how much you should drink next time, no? 26:42 Speaker 1 No, it's a terrible idea if. 26:44 Speaker 2 You drink 5, then you get really high. You're like, all right, 5 was too much. Next time I'll try 4. You know, that's just how you do it. You just got to work backwards. That's how Tiger Woods became so good. He started putting 1st and then he worked his way back into driving. That's what you got to do when it comes to drinking weed drinks. 26:56 Speaker 1 Too. I don't believe that's true. What Tiger Woods did that? 26:59 Speaker 2 That's how I did it. His dad talked about it. Really. Yeah, I'm not doing. 27:02 Speaker 1 That I want half a freaking THC drink. That's it. Half. 27:06 Speaker 2 Figured you want to be like Tiger Woods. 27:08 Speaker 1 Not sharing it with you, Yes, yes. 27:11 Speaker 2 Yeah, there you go. 27:12 Speaker 1 So real quick if we could, because I see Linda. Linda is here. 27:12 Speaker 1 So real quick if we could, because I see Linda. Linda is here. Linda is Oh my gosh, what? 27:18 Speaker 2 Do you? There's drugs and tampons on the table. 27:21 Speaker 1 Oh my God. 27:21 Speaker 2 We have drugs and tampons. Drugs, at least for you. 27:29 Speaker 1 OK, well, cat's out of the bag. These are part of Mark's birthday present. 27:35 Speaker 2 A tampon, Yeah. 27:36 Speaker 1 Put it in his hat because he's on his period all the time. Definitely. You shouldn't have given it to me in front of Mark. That ruined the surprise. Anyway, Mark. There you go, buddy. There's one I'll give you. 27:50 Speaker 2 You want another one? 27:51 Speaker 1 We got, we got, we got, we got one of every. I don't even know what these are but there's like different sizes. 27:56 Speaker 2 Yeah, you can launch them. This is an R for real. I want to say the other word but I don't know if I can say it. 28:03 Speaker 1 Here, no, it's regular. I mean, it's regular. 28:05 Speaker 2 But it's retarded. 28:07 Speaker 1 Can't say that. 28:07 Speaker 2 One out of here. 28:08 Speaker 1 Can't say that word today. We're in APG. 28:11 Speaker 2 We've got we're in Atlanta, so I think weed's legal here that. 28:15 Speaker 1 Way dude Mark can't be within 10 feet of it. He goes back to jail. 28:18 Speaker 2 Manny's here somewhere. He'll take care of him. No cops here anyway. We'll be all right. That's great. 28:25 Speaker 1 All right, is there anybody else we need to get knocked out before we pause this recording because just so you guys know, at this, at the end of this event, 28:41 All this stuff happens and then we forget and then we forget because we're blackout. We are doing the second-half of this show at the end of the event at 28:53 Speaker 2 I hope so, 'cause I got to drive home at some point or I'm going to have to Uber home. Actually, my delivery driver's on the way here somewhere. I don't know my hey man, my hey man guy that comes out all the time in. 29:01 Speaker 1 The middle of the night, are you getting delivered? 29:03 Speaker 2 He's just bringing himself and his wife. He just wanted to come, but I might have to ride home with him. We'll see. I don't know if I, I don't know. My truck's safe out there, though. It is Atlanta. 29:11 Speaker 1 You're fine here. This is like the ritzy part of Atlanta. There's like, no crime here. It's good. Hey, what's this guy's name right here? 29:20 Speaker 2 I think so. 29:21 Speaker 1 Come on over, man. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. In the flesh. So if if any of you guys don't listen to the show or you've not seen our social media, there's always a few people that get on our social media and decide they want to troll or they want to just start stuff or they want to drop the most. 29:43 Oh my God. 29:44 Speaker 2 The heinous sentences known to man. 29:46 Speaker 1 Everything. So I, I was, that was really good. I've had a couple people. Michael Harris is one that's there. For a long time, Michael Harris wanted nothing more than to get banned from the groove. 30:00 Speaker 2 I feel like Michael Harris goes into a coma like a couple months out of the year. He just stops, he disappears, then he just probably pops back up. But you're fairly consistent. 30:07 Speaker 1 And I said to myself, I got to befriend this person, right? I mean, this guy could possibly do something serious and scare me. He could hurt somebody. I don't know. So me and Michael Harris are actually really you, you, you. 30:17 Speaker 6 Use Air Force, right? Yeah, sounds like him. Bravo. OK. 30:19 Speaker 1 So yeah, let's see. It makes sense. So this this right here about two months ago, three months ago, we started seeing just things in social media that were like, Oh my God. And Taraj calls me and Tara, who manages our social media, says want me to want me to ban him. 30:37 She said no, man, let's just remove every comment that's inappropriate. So she stopped doing it because she got tired of it. 30:43 Speaker 2 Yeah, there's a lot of them. A lot. 30:44 Speaker 1 Of them. So then I jumped on the wagon. I started removing it. Now it's almost my daily I go downstairs, I have a cup of coffee. I look on social media and I look for a post from Josh Gibbs and I look for Josh Gibbs to say something. Typically it's, you know, F Chuck. 31:00 He's a moron. He hates poor people, which he does. No, I don't, you know, shut up. So anyway, but after, after like a month of me and Josh just like kind of battling it out online, one of us reached out to each other. 31:16 I reached out to you and I said, dude, I love this guy. 31:18 Speaker 6 Because I reached out to you. Because I was. 31:19 Speaker 1 Hearing you put the brand into your mouth. 31:21 Speaker 6 Oh, Brandon hit the nail on the head one time 'cause he was like, well, if he didn't like he, he wouldn't be like, hey, any back in the group, you know, he'd just message you and blast you. So it was so I wanted you to know that like I I fucking love the show, right? And I messaged you the. 31:33 Speaker 2 Night, the RI said. We're getting the R rating already. 31:39 Speaker 1 Kids are right here. Yeah, that's my kids. They're probably worse. Yeah. 31:44 Speaker 6 Well so they all listen. They sing that every time. Y'all do like what the Chuck and daily dose? They sing the song with it. 31:50 Speaker 1 31:50 Speaker 1 Oh my God, yeah, sweet. 31:52 Speaker 2 That's awesome, so glad to hear it. 31:54 Speaker 6 I don't. I don't wish I'll get another. 31:55 Speaker 1 Season. No, we're only worried about it's it's not going to be edited. We're worried about kids, but. 32:00 Speaker 2 Random children, whatever. 32:01 Speaker 1 Spread out it. 32:02 Speaker 6 Was you know, it's like I reset you and that and I think the best thing y'all do. 32:06 Speaker 1 All right. 32:07 Speaker 2 Throw that in here. 32:07 Speaker 6 What did you do, Nate? He hates the Jews. I hate Jews. We'd be right there with each. 32:14 Speaker 2 Other Yeah, we are really cranking it up. Enough now. Appreciate it, buddy. Let's go to cut his mic off right there. 32:21 Speaker 1 Josh, thank you for coming on. Appreciate it, man. Please, I can't wait to meet your lovely family. It's awesome, and you guys knew that if there was any chance of this thing going right into the R, Josh Gibbs is going to be the one that's going to take us there. 32:34 Speaker 2 I don't know, I think the last 15 minutes might end up being NC 17 depending on how drunk and high we are, but we'll see what happens. 32:40 Speaker 1 That's why we are going to pause it here. What do you think is this? 32:44 Speaker 2 A good spot, this is probably a good spot to call it. And then we're going to start mingling around and a distinct grace will be at first, right, You're about to set up and start playing here. 32:51 Speaker 1 Yep. 33:08 If you guys want to draw mail parts on it, you can. But Mark does not want that to happen, So. And we might. That is how life should be right there. It's so nice I. 33:21 Speaker 2 Love the mute button man, I love it. 33:23 Speaker 1 Please sign it guys. Thank you so much. We cannot wait to hang out with you guys today. Have a good time and we'll be see you soon, alright? 33:30 Speaker 2 But all right, we're wrapping up the event, guys. We're really pretty appreciate everybody coming out here tonight to a new Realm Brewing. It's been a long day and I've seen a lot of smiles, a lot of stories being shared. And I love that everybody came out here. My voice is about gone, but I say it was another successful event. 33:47 We're going to have a few people come on here for the last few minutes of the show. But Chuck, what did you notice around the event here tonight? 33:53 Speaker 1 I will tell you, man, so we did. We had somebody counting heads because I said I got to have a number. I got to have a number. So at some point you got 411 people came into this place, which is pretty legit. That's pretty good. And, and I dude, everybody, it was great. 34:08 The event was great. The music was great. Duncan Brothers Band, Will Turpin, Danny Allen. It was amazing. Distinct Grace, Tim Bernadette killed it. I I just can't say enough about it now. I will say the highlight of the event for me was when Michael Germany came up to me at some point today and he said handed me a bottle of fart spray and he said I don't care how you use this, but use it wisely. 34:38 And so I walked up to Brandon at the end of the bar and I just sprayed and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed so much on the back of his sweatshirt. And it smelled like actual poo. And then the wind was taking it into the restaurant. 34:54 Pull that away. And it was hitting everybody against the wall, like the window was just getting killed by it. And they're like, what happened? They thought a kid had pooped their pants. 35:03 Speaker 2 Well, I I was what? Drew kids? Drew and his kids walked by. I'm like, oh, one of them, them crap their pants. And then I'm like, they're gone for a little minute. We go outside. I'm like, I still smell it. The kids crap on the floor too. What's going on here? Apparently Michael Germany crapped on the back of me or chucked in one of the two You bastards. 35:19 Speaker 7 I was sitting upstairs with Brandon and some guy walks by and says you stink. And I'm like, yeah, that's kind of mean. But now I get the whole story. 35:26 Speaker 1 Yeah, and so he had to change his shirt. He put on this coat because he didn't. He didn't want the sweatshirt with poop all over it. 35:34 Speaker 2 I know I look like a school shooter. This thing's oversized, man. I was like, what's going on here? My pants still are covered in the spray and everything. But besides, that was a great time. Not only do I appreciate being able to talk to each and everyone of you out here, but I love the fact that y'all converse with each other and y'all have your own conversations. 35:49 Listeners doing everybody's just a big group, big family here. If if you don't know what's going on, we are the daily dose show. We're Atlanta's number one comedy podcast and we like to put a put these events together for y'all for everybody to come out. We got great people that shows up. We got great performers like Duncan brothers, Will Turpin, Danny Allen, the Vagabonds. 36:07 I mean, it's it's just a great time every time we have one of these. So if you're new, you've never heard of us free show, check it out and just keep up with the socials for when we do the next month. That's going to be even bigger. 36:16 Speaker 1 No, I do got to say we got Danny Allen over here. So Danny Allen with us today, he's from the Vagabonds, as Brandon had had mentioned, He's out in Nashville now. Have you, Danny? Have you ever done an event like this? 36:29 Speaker 7 I've done events like this, but not no, this is, this is the one. This is the the best I've ever done. Never, never. This is so new. 36:38 Speaker 2 Well, normally when y'all do a style of show, you know, do you, do you have people that say, hey, have you ever done a show with a podcast and like three other bands? Is it normally just y'all? 36:47 Speaker 7 So I've never done a show with a podcast. This is super cool. I, I love the fact that you guys put all this together. We had what, like 500 people show up here. Good energy in the room, great music. And now I'm on a podcast at the end of it to round it out. How cool is that? 37:02 Speaker 1 That's it. I will say I, I, I was yes, give it up for Danny. 37:02 Speaker 1 That's it. I will say I, I, I was yes, give it up for Danny. I was a little, I was a little concerned when I went upstairs and I saw Danny and Brandon sitting at the table all alone. And they're like communicating and I'm like, what's going on? And I'm like, hey, Brandon, you need to come downstairs and see everybody. 37:19 And we get on the stairs to come down and Brandon goes, hey man, I think I convinced Danny to take us on tour with. 37:27 Speaker 2 I'm on the road podcast Sounds. 37:29 Speaker 1 Like a terrible idea. So, Danny, thank you for giving that to that little hope that one day he's going to be on the. 37:35 Speaker 7 Road it's not it's not a bad idea. 37:37 Speaker 2 That's what I told Chuck. No one, no band has ever done it before. We'd be the first and I didn't. I said no money, I'll just just ride with you guys. 37:44 Speaker 1 I've been with him for a lot of episodes and I can tell you, Danny, after episode 4 or five, you're going to be like Chuck, I need a break, so. 37:52 Speaker 2 I haven't missed 1 though so. 37:56 Speaker 1 So hey guys, Danny's going to be here. Get a picture with Danny, hang out, find out about the vagabonds. They're an amazing band out of Nashville. I cannot plug you enough. I think you guys are one of the most talented bands I've ever seen in my life and I've seen a lot of bands. I know a thing or two. No offense Will, I love Collective Soul, but you guys are great, man. 38:13 Keep doing what? 38:13 Speaker 7 38:13 Speaker 7 You're doing all right, brother. Thank you. Thanks for having us out. 38:16 Speaker 2 Appreciate it, man. Thank you, Danny. Thank you everybody for Danny Allen Boo. 38:22 Speaker 1 Where's digi dude Nate? Digi dude Nate still here? 38:24 Speaker 2 I know that Metskin man's floating around here somewhere. He's somewhere over there. 38:28 Speaker 1 My favorite thing about Digi dude Nate is the longer he was here, the redder his eyes got, the the more glassy he got, and then he just started walking up to me and hugging me for no reason and I realized Nate's high. 38:42 Speaker 2 He's got, he got in the happy mode, he got in the happy phase and he's just he's, I don't. 38:48 Speaker 1 I will say I don't think that Mark ever understands when we're recording. 38:51 Speaker 2 I don't either, he throws me off every time. 38:53 Speaker 6 I I know. 38:54 Speaker 2 That's to do that. I don't know what you're saying, Mark. I don't know what's going on over here. We're trying to wrap the show up fairly quickly. Is Deaf August here still or not? I mean, he's deaf. One of them. Oh, there's Nate, all right. He's coming. He's coming. Look at him. He's running over here. He's got, he's got his dildo university shirt on or something like that. I don't know what it is. 39:10 Well, we got, did you do Nate? Everybody you know, if you don't know we who's here with us at the OR. I was at the radio station with him back in 100.5. He since then moved to Mexico. We've been on a few podcasts here and there, but we're happy he was able to make it in. He just came just for us, correct? No like soccer or anything. 39:26 Speaker 8 Fucking reason I was here. I was like, fuck yeah, let's do this. We're drinking some beers and we're going to have a good time. 39:31 Speaker 2 I was doing a great time, man. Everyone's excited to see you. I. 39:33 Speaker 1 Like how the F bomb gets everybody clappy, yeah? 39:39 Speaker 2 Because I texted Nate. I was like, hey man, you on the ways? Actually, I'm here. I'm upstairs. But apparently we sold out all the tables down here. You couldn't even get food at the table, so you had to go upstairs. 39:48 Speaker 8 That's true. 39:48 Speaker 8 That's true. When I was coming in there, like all the tables are filled. You want to run upstairs, get some food there and then come down. So that's what I did. Yeah, it was good. 39:56 Speaker 1 We're sitting Nate upstairs. That's how you know it's a successful event. You know, we put, we sent, we sent Southside Steve upstairs too. He's still up there. 40:06 Speaker 2 He's just hanging out. 40:07 Speaker 8 Ponytail stuck in the fan. He's still there. 40:09 Speaker 2 He's swinging around, He's swinging around up there. Nate, you've been a part of a couple of these events we've done before, not with the same crew and everything, but how does this one compare to the previous? 40:18 Speaker 8 Dude this is amazing I love it here. Like I mean I I love New Realm and this is such a good event. Just playing beer pong against some like 4 year old or something. Yes. Was it your daughter or your niece? 40:30 Speaker 1 Probably my niece. Yeah. Yeah, it's good. 40:32 Speaker 8 I'm playing beer pong, we're watching live music, we're drinking beer. It's like you can't ask for anything else. 40:38 Speaker 1 That's on a Sunday. 40:40 Speaker 8 On a Sunday, on the Lord's Day, yeah. 40:43 Speaker 2 I mean, it was, it was just pure Americana. You had the bands up here playing in the background. You got NFL football. They're just scoring touchdowns left and right out there. I mean, it's American. 40:51 Speaker 1 Baby, I have the most. 40:52 Speaker 8 Wholesome video and it's you and your niece I think dancing and. 40:56 Speaker 1 Oh yeah. 40:56 Speaker 8 There's live music in the background, there's. 40:58 Speaker 1 Football playing like you can't. 41:00 Speaker 8 Ask for anything else like it was. It was a beautiful. 41:03 Speaker 1 Moment we did, we did get asked you guys, a lot of people had asked us before and me and Brandon had teased it about what's changing with the show. What are you guys going to do differently for the show. I'm only going to speak to the next event because me and Brandon, we talked to Jose about it and kind of what we want to do. 41:19 Guys, we are on like a 100 episode schedule here. So shocker, somewhere around 41:34 Speaker 2 41:34 Speaker 2 We're going to put sharks in it this time. 41:36 Speaker 1 And we are, we are going to be adding a segment to the show, which Brandon, I'm not going to get too much into, don't worry. But we're trying to get a name for it because the only thing we have so far is homeless. 41:48 Speaker 2 I got all I got is hobo nose.
