Its accuracy may vary. 0:13 Speaker 1 Tuesday and it's a daily no show, which means Chuck has to be making some kind of annoying noise in the background of his video. Today he is eating on stream. I don't know why he said we could do 445. He said ready when you are. And then here he is eating ham, green eggs and ham and I don't know what the fuck's going on over there. And I was broadcasting to his whole family's house and I was holding back from saying cuss words so your kids didn't hear me. 0:34 Speaker 2 God, I got something stuck on my throat again. 0:37 Speaker 1 I'm Brandon Thrasher over there is Chuck iron fist dying. We'll get to him in a minute. If you're listening to us on Spotify or Apple podcast, be sure to drop us a follow and leave us a five star review. OK, are you better now? Look at. 0:49 Speaker 2 That. Oh, my God. Yeah. So. Oh, my God, I'm not gonna eat any more of that. Yeah, it was. It was leftover ham from from Easter. And wow, I took it too. I got too much in my mouth. Shut up the. 1:03 Speaker 1 First time you said that probably too much. I can't take all of it. So it's it's been a great week so far. I think today I'm going to try to be a predictor. I think today is raining. I think it's rainy outside and it's kind of gloomy. I believe I'm like a fortune teller. 1:20 Speaker 2 I think you're, I think you're wrong because like people, you know, you guys don't understand. We sometimes record at the last second, sometimes we record a little early. This is last second, Brandon. And it is beautiful right now. 1:34 Speaker 1 Yeah, it is. It feels good at the moment. But I think tomorrow from what? From what My lady that I went to and checked out today, her house told me that she's getting her trees cut down this week. I said tomorrow. She said Oh no, it's supposed to rain tomorrow. So I took her word for it. I don't know if she's a meteorologist or not, but she seemed to know what she's doing. 1:49 I mean if she's that old and still living, she probably knows the things the right and wrong things to do. 1:56 Speaker 2 She's one step ahead of everybody. 1:58 Speaker 1 Yeah, so all right, we'll get you into your daily dose of dumb news. 2:14 Appreciate Chuck bringing up Easter because the Pope is dead. Pope Francis has died and before they put that man in the ground, they were already trying to do an election for the new Pope, which I thought was very odd. So the the daily dose of dumb news, your first one, what are the church's rights for the death of a Pope and the election of a new one? 2:34 Do you have any, any idea on how this process goes, Chuck? Or what was your thought? Also, your thoughts on the Catholic Church. 2:41 Speaker 2 OK, well, I, I feel my thoughts on the Catholic Church. What a weird segue. No, I, I watched the OK, so I read the book The Da Vinci Code and I watched the movie with Tom Hanks. 2:50. 2:57 So I know a thing about electing a new Pope. OK, so First off and I and I heard this on Fox News, when the Pope dies and he's unresponsive, they will not do an autopsy. 3:13 They will not do any type of light like resuscitation and guess how they determine if he's dead or not? 3:21 Speaker 1 They they poke him a bunch. 3:24 Speaker 2 They call his name three times. 3:26 Speaker 1 Oh my God, dude. So if you're in like a deep sleep and you're like, whoa, wait, wait, wait, sorry, man, you're not the Pope anymore. We thought you died. You got to live on the street. 3:34 Speaker 2 You're done, you're done. So that's, that's the one thing I know about that 'cause I, like I said, Fox News, now I will tell you the last Pope that died, Oh my gosh, I wish I knew which one it was. But I'm not Catholic, so it's not that big of a deal to me, 'cause I don't care. 3:51 Speaker 1 I feel like you died not too long ago, right? 3:53 Speaker 2 It was in two. No, it had to be more than 15 years, she was going to say. 3:57 Speaker 1 Yeah, past 10 years. 3:58 Speaker 2 It was, it was a, it was a while back because one of my buddies was in the Vatican when it happened, not when it happened, but shortly thereafter, because they put the, the Pope that passes away, they put them in what's it called where they like lay in, not in state, but they lay them out. 4:15 Speaker 1 Oh, was it? Was it Pope Benedict? 4:17 Speaker 2 I'm going to say yes. That sounds right. Oh no. 4:22 Speaker 1 There there's Pope John Paul. The most recent Pope to die in office was the previous pontiff, Pope John Paul the Second. 4:28 Speaker 2 That's the one. That's the one. So he died. My buddy's there and he was law enforcement here in the States. So he had a batch. I thought you were. 4:37 Speaker 1 Going to say he was the jester. 4:39 Speaker 2 No. So when he went, there's a huge line in Vatican City and you can wait in this line and it would take hours and hours and hours, but you can walk by and see the body of the Pope. He's laid out with, you know, in his white robes and you can just walk by. 4:56 And they do that with a lot of people. I mean, the president, they do that with presidents. You know, no, he's not naked. He's in like his little white robe. So so my buddy walked up to one of the Vatican agents or officers that were there and he showed his badge. He said, hey, man, you know, can you hook a guy up? 5:12 You know, I just want to get in and take a look and and bounce. 5:12 You know, I just want to get in and take a look and and bounce. The guy walked him in and got him right up near the body. There's a line of people walking by. He walked up and they were like, oh, yeah, you're, you know, you're a federal law enforcement officer from the United States. We'll take you in. 5:28 He said it was the grossest thing. He's he said it smelled. He's because they, because they don't, they don't embalm them. They don't do the things that we would do to preserve the body, apparently. And I don't know how much it is, how true that is. It's not me, it's another guy. But I know that that's one thing they do is they leave them out. 5:43 Now with the selecting of the new one, you're going to go through the list. But I do know it has something to do with smoke, right? 5:50 Speaker 1 Yeah, so it says it involves sacred oath by the Cardinals, electing A successor, the piercing of balance with the ballots with the needle and thread after they're counted, and then burning them to produce either the white or black smoke to signal if there's a new leader for the world's 1.3 billion Catholic. 6:08 So it's it's pretty much like Groundhog Day. It's kind of just made-up. They just kind of just throw something out there to decide like, oh, we see it put this Groundhog out here to see if the spring's coming or not. So in this case, they just burn. I don't understand. It's, it's kind of confusing. 6:23 So so I guess the Cardinals themselves do the voting and then they they tell the people like, hey, we found a new one, you know, whether it's white or black smoke. So I guess if they find one they don't like, do they burn him and the smoke and. 6:36 Speaker 2 They're like, no, no, they, they put their names in right. 6:36 Speaker 2 They're like, no, no, they, they put their names in right. So all the Cardinals will go around in the politic and they'll be in, they're locked in the Vatican. And they go I like, I like Brandon for this. And then the other ones are like, it's like Survivor. That's all it is. It's Survivor. And then they write all the names down and they vote. 6:53 And until they get the Pope, they just keep voting. I mean, it can take days, right? 6:59 Speaker 1 Yeah, I mean, I imagine it's going to take a while. Oh, here's a fun fact, though, is so the the period is known as in Latin sede vacante, or vacant space C So that's where we get vacancy from because there's a open spot for the Pope. I'm gonna add a little bit of knowledge for you. 7:16 Speaker 2 So do the people that are Catholic and I don't know the answer to this. Is this a big deal to them? 7:24 Speaker 1 I would think so. This is like their God, right? That's who. 7:26 Speaker 2 They no, it's not their God. Catholic people don't look at the Pope as God. 7:32 Speaker 1 Well, they I don't you're that that's what confuses me because it says in the Bible you're not supposed to have any other idols or anything. But they clearly they put the Pope in there as like the idol, like look up to the Pope. Oh, thank God. Here's the Pope because I do they believe he's closer to God than them. 7:47 Is that why we have a Pope? 7:48 Speaker 2 Or I'm going to say yes and they also don't. 7:48 Speaker 2 Or I'm going to say yes and they also don't. I don't know if this is true or not, but it's the only thing I know about the Catholic religion. Don't they put Mary pretty high up there too? 8:00 Speaker 1 I think so, yeah. Not Magdalene, but the other one. The mom, right? I mean the prostitute. 8:06 Speaker 2 She wasn't a stripper. 8:08 Speaker 1 She's a prostitute, wasn't. 8:09 Speaker 2 She she, yeah, she was a prostitute. And but Mary, I mean, the Catholic Church puts a lot of love in them. They just say a lot of stuff about Mary. I don't understand it. That's what that's one of the things I can't get behind with the Catholic religion, right is you know that thou shalt not worship idols or put anybody above the Lord. 8:30 I'm. 8:31 Speaker 1 Making the Pope sit up there. What what I've always thought about is why does the, the Catholics not catch as much hell like the Jews do? I mean, the Jews get shit all the time, but the Catholics don't get as much shit. You know, they, I mean, you'll hear, you know, like the little the priests are touching little boys. 8:46 We all know that happens. But the odd that the, it's, I think, I think the Catholics are the one behind a lot of the Jews slander because they're just trying to, they're trying to get the heat off them and they're sending it over to the Jews. 8:58 Speaker 2 Why? Why would the Catholic like need to get heat off of them? 9:02 Speaker 1 Because they're doing bad shit. 9:02 Speaker 1 Because they're doing bad shit. I mean, you don't just build a city just for your religion to keep the Pope in if you're not doing bad shit over there. 9:08 Speaker 2 Oh, so you think they're doing they're like crime or just like the pedophilia? 9:13 Speaker 1 Well, it probably starts with pedophilia. That's at the top. But they don't want people looking into them anymore. So they're like Jews. Look at the Jews over there, you know, look what they're doing. I mean it's working. 9:23 Speaker 2 Too it I I think all that happens in every religion, right? Like any religion in the world. Mormon, Catholic, Baptist, whatever, you're going to have men in power that take advantage of that power and do things they should not do. 9:38 That's just doesn't matter the religion. So I don't blame the Catholics for the the pedophiles. The Jews get a bad rap because they're the ones who killed Jesus. Yeah. So, so they get a bad rap for that, which I don't necessarily sign on to. 9:58 I mean, in the Bible it says the Jews or Jesus or God's chosen people. So he kind of. 10:03 Speaker 1 I thought the Romans killed Jesus, right? 10:06 Speaker 2 But it was still, it was still the, IT was still the Jews was the Jews. 10:09 Speaker 1 What? In the Catholic Romans, it was Jewish Romans. 10:12 Speaker 2 It was Jews. 10:12 Speaker 2 It was Jews. I just know it was Jews. I don't know. I don't know what Romans. I don't know. I don't know it was Jews because to this day Jewish people do not believe in Jesus as being the Lord and savior or the Lord of Jesus of God, the Son of God. 10:27 So I don't the whole thing with Jews that doesn't I don't I don't know, I don't get that it is what it is. But the Catholics, they get a bad rap, I think mostly because of the money. That's where I mean, come on, man. Like they got more money than any other religion, all the religions combined. 10:47 And I don't understand the Pope. I've never understood the Pope. He's a nice guy. I'd like to say hi to him but. 10:54 Speaker 1 It's like the queen, you know, it's like, why do, why do we even have a queen anymore? But the The thing is, they're going to have to be doing this again in like 5 years because all the contestants to be the next Pope. The youngest one is 67 and he's from the Philippines. I don't think they're going to vote him in. That just does not seem like something they would vote in. 11:11 We got Pietro Perellin of Italy, Mark Ouyet of Canada, and I ain't putting him in Christoph Schoenborn of Austria. Oh my God, dude, I don't know. That's bad. That's a bad look. Austrian man in power. God, remember what happened last time? 11:27 That's it. 11:27 Speaker 2 Used to be like yeah, fuck you Catholic. 11:29 Speaker 3 It's your turn. 11:32 Speaker 1 And, and the Luis Tagil of the Philippines, 67, he's the youngest one. And then Matteo Zupi of Italy, he's 69. So like I said, if whoever gets in, we're going to be doing this again very soon because this guy died at 88, Pope Francis, I believe. 11:47 Why are they putting old people in? I guess it's a requirement. You know, we require a president to be 35 over here to be a Catholic priest. You got to be on your deathbed. You got to be like, you about to die in five years. Like, all right, you want to be the Pope last five years. 11:59 Speaker 2 I think, don't you have to, you have to like take some weird vows to be the Pope too, right? 12:04 Speaker 1 Yeah, you can't get married. And then you probably probably only certain kinds of porn you can watch and they're very intrigued. You gotta check the box. If you've ever thought about doing something with a child, they're like all. 12:20 Speaker 2 Right, so you have to renounce your salary. Oh, don't get paid, dude. What the fuck? So Pope Francis, he's the one who started it when he renounced his traditional salary, which is 32,000 per month. 12:35 What? Yeah. He did this as a sign of commitment to the humility and his desire to be closer to the poor. 12:43 Speaker 1 That's like Katy Katy Perry saying he's an astronaut. 12:46 Speaker 2 Yeah. 12:47 Speaker 1 Telling the telling the he's sitting in the Vatican, in his own city, at the top of the, you know, the massive church. Like I'm poor just like you. 12:56 Speaker 2 There's, there's nothing else I see that's really that big of a deal. They don't say anything else about. I mean, I think the rest of it's just like Catholic priests, right? 13:03 Speaker 1 Well, that see, now everyone's going to start looking into it because like, oh, Catholic Pope, let's look into it. And I guarantee you something bad is going to come out about the Jews here in the next week or so. And we're going to be like, Yep, Catholics did that. They took the heat off them because now that they're died, they Pope Francis died. 13:18 People always look into it, you know, like someone died. Let's see what's going on with their business. What have they done lately? Let's do some investigation. And when people see there's not a lot of information, they're going to start digging. They're going to start digging. Then Catholics don't like digging if you find something you don't want to. So they're going to be like. 13:31 Speaker 2 You really don't like Catholics? Yeah. 13:34 Speaker 1 I don't know. It's, it's, I just feel, you know, I'm fighting for the, I'm like Methodist for the most part. We're a little more relaxed because. 13:42 Speaker 2 Like I feel like Methodist is just a branch of the Catholic religion. 13:45 Speaker 1 Yeah, but we got a lot of potlucks and we can eat any kind of any kind of meat on any day. They're all weird about the Jews and the the Jews things got to be kosher. The Catholics, you can't eat pork or beef on Fridays or Saturdays. I couldn't be Catholic because I would forget, screw up and then I'd go to hell. 14:00 Speaker 2 Is this is that true? 14:02 Speaker 1 Yeah, my cousins are Catholic. They can only eat like fish on Fridays, which is a terrible like I. 14:06 Speaker 2 Don't think this is. I don't think any of this is true. I don't think all. 14:09 Speaker 1 True, I know very much. 14:10 Speaker 2 But they can drink. They can drink alcohol though, right? 14:13 Speaker 1 Yes, they can be Alcoholics and beat their wives, but they cannot eat pork or beef on Fridays. I believe it is. 14:18 Speaker 2 I don't even, I'm not even going to Fact Check any of that. I I don't know 10% of what you just said is true, but if it is, the Catholic religion is more jacked up than I thought they were. But yes, I'm not into Catholicism. I have no idea. 14:30 Speaker 1 I try to tell people that and they call me crazy. Same thing about the cowboy can of jail. I was right about that. But the Catholics, they're up to something, man, and they always blame the Jews. They got something else going on to the news story. I don't think it's all the Jews. I think it's some of the Jews that some of the Jew problem, but I think some of the Jews. 14:47 Speaker 2 Some of the. 14:47 Speaker 1 Jews. I think the Catholics are amplifying it, getting heat off them. 14:51 Speaker 2 I've never heard a Catholic speak poorly of a Jew. 14:55 Speaker 1 Well, they don't. They're not going to do it in front of you. They're do it behind the scenes, you know, but they put a wall and they built their own city. They're hiding stuff. All right? If they're going to hide it like that, they're going to, they're going to spread rumors. They do. So you're Catholic. Nothing against you. Yeah, Yeah. 15:09 Speaker 2 Nothing against you, we just spent the last 10 minutes bashing your religion but nothing against you man. 15:16 Speaker 1 And I think it's very European in my mind. I know there's a lot of Catholics in Europe, I mean in America, but I just think it's more of a European thing and you know my stance on European. So it's just hard for me. 15:28 Speaker 2 What are they? 15:29 Speaker 1 I don't like them. 15:30 Speaker 2 What are they? 15:31 Speaker 1 Europeans. What about them? 15:34 Speaker 2 Every time I say anything. 15:35 Speaker 1 They're dirty, dirty, dirty. 15:37 Speaker 3 Poor. 15:37 Speaker 1 People. 15:39 Speaker 2 Everywhere in Europe you're like, they're dirty, they're dirty pores, dirty pores over there. 15:44 Speaker 1 So yeah, that's that's the Pope. I think we're going to be doing this every 10 years and before the man's even down to the ground, they are moving on. So all right Next up on daily dose of done news dumb news Spanish police arrest two people linked the cat smuggling ring based in Majorca. 16:00 And the only thing, the only reason I pick this news story because I didn't know you can get in trouble for smuggling cats and Majorca's on that funny commercial about Allstate. I think you know I'm. 16:11 Speaker 2 Well, I'm not. I'm not going to say it because it's inappropriate. What's another? 16:16 Speaker 1 Word pussy. 16:17 Speaker 2 OK, that's funny. Now if you said it that way, that's funny. 16:21 Speaker 1 It's funny, I said. What? 16:22 Speaker 2 That they're smuggling it. 16:24 Speaker 1 Spanish police arrest two people linked to pussy smuggling ring facing Majorca. That what you wanted me to say Chuck? Chuck that, make me happy, shit in my hands and clap. 16:40 Speaker 2 All right, so tell me more. Tell me more. 16:41 Speaker 1 All right, so authorities seize 19 animals, including a crackle and two servals. I'm guessing these are not strains of people, these are cats. More than 40 irregular animal passports from countries such as Russia, Belarus and China were also found. 16:58 I didn't know there was animal passports. Operation began last March when the Civil Guard got word that they were, they got cats over there. Apparently they were also selling tigers for about $60,000 apiece. They had hyenas, lynxes, black lepers and Pumas. 17:13 And I'm just confused on why, why cats are illegal to smoke. Well, it's not like they're an invasive species and they're just going to cut. Well, I guess they do breed a lot, but is that just domestic cats? Because lions don't do that, right? They they don't have like. 17:26 Speaker 2 Litters, This is not a domestic cat. A carrackle is like a legit. It looks like a bobcat. It's like a Puma. 17:33 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's, it's, it's a little bigger than like a Maine Coon, I'd say. 17:36 Speaker 2 17:36 Speaker 2 Before I explain to you why cat smuggling is a big deal, can you say that word again that you said in the news story that spelled IIRR e.g. ULAR? Can you say irregular? What'd you say? 17:51 Speaker 1 Irregular. 17:52 Speaker 2 OK, you said it right that time. 17:53 Speaker 1 What did I say? Irregular. Yeah, irregular. 17:58 Speaker 2 Irregular. No, I think. I think cats like, especially exotic cats like that because I'm allergic to cats. My family doesn't believe it, my wife doesn't believe it, my friends don't believe it. I'm a deathly allergic to cats. I hate them and they make my eyes puffy. So I was looking into getting a bald cat. 18:15 What are they called? Siamese. Are they Siamese? Are they just sphinxes? 18:19 Speaker 1 Sphinx cats. Yeah, something like that. I. 18:21 Speaker 2 Wanted to get one of those and they're so expensive and they're so ugly. God awful, ugly cats. They, they, they, they scare the hell out of you every time you see them. You could have the cat for 10 years. Every time you walked in a room you're like, oh Jesus. 18:34 Speaker 1 Yeah, it's, I mean, it's like a scrotum with claws. What it looks like, it's like nasty. 18:41 Speaker 2 Just imagine a scrotum with four legs walking around your your house like that's what it is, you know? So I I was looking into getting one and I think the cheapest I saw him was like 1500 bucks but I couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on an ugly cat. Was that ugly? 18:57 Anything. 18:57 Speaker 1 Was that just a kitten or was it full grown and already pissed off? 19:00 Speaker 2 No, it was a kitten, so it would grow to hate you. You know, there it's not. It's just not going to hate you when it shows up that day. It hates you within a week. But but so I think the smuggling thing, it makes sense if you're going to smuggle cats that are exotic breeds. 19:15 Now if you're smuggling strays, you know some free half breeds, then it doesn't make any sense because there's no money in that. But a Sphinx, you get one of those, you can sell it for 1000 bucks and that's a deal. 19:27 Speaker 1 I wonder what you would get in more trouble for if you're smuggling cats or if you're like smuggle like smuggling cats for to sell to people for them to keep as pets or selling them to like Chinese restaurants to eat. I wonder which ones you're going to get in more trouble for I. 19:39 Speaker 2 Thought you were going to say, I thought you were going to say to put them in cat fights. Like, you know, they have cock fights in in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico's got a big cock fighting in Mexico. Cock fighting is huge over there. And then dog fighting big in the Victoria household. 19:56 But it's, you know, it's big in the United States. Dog fights. You don't hear a lot of people talking about cat fights. Yeah. And then people. 20:03 Speaker 1 Don't care about cats as much so you could probably do it. It's the chicken. I've been doing a chicken fight and then a chicken shit event where they you bet on what square are they going to shit on. 20:13 Speaker 2 No, you didn't. Yeah. 20:14 Speaker 1 We were at it was a damn, what was it called? It was we were doing a we were doing a BBQ cook off down in somewhere in South Georgia near Macon. Maybe it was the some kind of Freemason temple place that they were putting on a car show and they had a circus and a BBQ cook off and they also had to, you know, put your money where the chicken's going. 20:35 Shit, we were like 8 years old and just riding our bikes around, Wind it up or, or our dads did. They won the BBQ cook off while we were over there betting on chicken shit. And it was pretty fun. It was entertaining. 20:45 Speaker 2 I'll tell you that, stupid man, Why What? I've never even heard of that game. And for you not to bring that up and all the time I've known you breaks my heart. That is one of the greatest stories I've ever heard. What? What's the game called? 21:01 Speaker 1 The chicken shit square or something. You just pick a square before the chicken shits and you'll have people like waving at them like go go go go go. I mean, you're yelling at the chicken the whole time they had it. I I was so happy because they had it. And my name is Earl. I used to watch that show and then we saw one in real life. 21:17 I was like, this is awesome, dude. We need we, we need one of those whenever we have a party betting on chicken shit. I mean, it's very easy to set up. You just get a board, write some numbers, get a chicken, feed it a little bit of food and don't wear it. Shits house always wins. Oh. 21:33 Speaker 2 My God, what's up? OK, I got a lot of questions. We'll talk about that later. So cock fighting, frowned upon dog fighting, frowned upon cat smuggling, forefighting. You're saying people wouldn't care? I think they would care. 21:49 I think there's a lot of crazy Karen's out there that love their cats. 21:53 Speaker 1 Not as much. I mean, like when the, you know, when you're younger, you don't really understand what dog fighting is. So you start your own little ring by accident. Like when you're you and your buddies have dogs and you just rile them up and just like let them play fight and then you antagonize them more to get them going. Then you learn that's wrong. 22:09 You know, MM Vick, he was a martyr in our world. The dog. I mean, he really saved a lot of dogs by dog fighting, ironically in the end, and they had to go to jail and he probably killed some dog. I think he killed like 65 dogs or something crazy or they found that many. But he saved a lot more because there's a lot more, you know, sacrifice 65 to save thousands, you know? 22:31 Speaker 2 I can't even respond to any of this that you're saying right now. OK, anyway, back to the cats. So. So the exotic breeds were being smuggled. End of the story. What was the punishment for the people? 22:48 And did we find out what they said they were being smuggled for? 22:53 Speaker 1 So they, they, they apparently did. Oh my God, there goes my computer again. There's a it's widespread in Russia and Ukraine, ironically enough. There's, there's cat, you know, this war going on now that we got cats being smuggled in the middle of it. 23:08 They, they didn't say what they were charged with. Usually in these countries, they just kind of kill you if they want to. There's really no, there's really no trial. And they don't really put that in the press. They don't do a pressure. They're just saying if they don't tell you what they were charged with, they were probably killed. And I think the people in these countries know that. 23:25 They see these news stories like, oh, we can't be smuggling cats to Russia and Ukraine, man, this is bad. So, I mean, which I'm surprised because this is like in Belarus. Belarusians were involved and in that, like Russia's little bitch. 23:38 Speaker 2 Yeah, yeah. I don't know why you're so funny today. You're making. I don't know why you're making me laugh like you're funny. Belarusi. What'd you call them? 23:47 Speaker 1 Belarusians. 23:48 Speaker 2 And they're what? 23:49 Speaker 1 China, Russia's little bitch. 23:52 Speaker 2 China took over Belarus years ago. Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry. Russia took over Belarus years ago. And remember, that's when what's the president of Ukraine that always comes over here and asks for money? 24:04 Speaker 1 Zelensky. 24:06 Speaker 2 Yeah, yeah, Zelensky. That's when he came over. Zelensky, that's when he came over. And he's like, look what they did to Belarus. They took Belarus. They never gave it back. That's what they're going to do to my country. But Belarus was kind of OK with it. I think Belarus was like, yeah, sure, we'll be Russian. 24:23 We have no identity. We have no love for country. So they wanted to be part of Russia so they could be protected what's which. 24:30 Speaker 1 Kind of screwed Ukraine because that was Russia's whole thing at the beginning was just like, no, there's Ukrainians that want to be part of Russia like with Belarus, they were happy to join us, you know, and if they're. 24:38 Speaker 2 Not happy? We'll kill them. 24:40 Speaker 1 And we'll put in people that are happy, we'll move happy Russians into Belarus. So yeah, it's that's a wild time. I mean, I would love one of these cats. It'd be pretty cool. They look, they look chill. Well, they'd hang out and be OK. 24:51 Speaker 2 The cackle that doesn't look chill. It's got those weird pointy ears and they're huge. Well. 24:56 Speaker 1 I mean, it's like a a dog, like a Belgian Malawi. 25:01 Speaker 2 No, it's not. No. Cats are not like dogs at all. They're complete opposites. Cats will kill you. They will attack you from no reason. At least dogs. There's only a certain breed you have to be afraid of. What? Pit cats? Yeah, pit bulls got a bad rap. I had a boxer one time. 25:17 I took her. I took her for a walk and she got attacked by a pack of pit bulls. Three of them my neighbor had. Holy crap, man. I had to beat them off with a broom. It was nuts and ever since then I've had a bad taste in my mouth for pit bulls. 25:31 Speaker 1 I secretly see, I don't, I don't know, all the animals I've had dog wise they just hang out outside and they roam, you know, hang out, we feed them and play with them and pet them. But I've never had a dog that I've walked on a leash. But secretly I want a, you know, if I had a dog and I was walking on a leash, maybe when I'm older and my wife got a little bitch dog like the one you got, you know, just always bark is biting your ankles out. 25:51 I got to walk it. I kind of hope another big dog attacks because I just want to beat the. 25:54 Speaker 2 Fuck out of that dog one day. 25:56 Speaker 1 I got a little Mike Vick in me. I need to get out, but I need to do it legally. Legally. 26:00 Speaker 2 Some some dog goes to sniff your dog's butt and you're just jumping. Start punching it as hard as you can. You beat it to death. They're like, what'd you do? He was a jacking it man. I saw it in his eyes. He was ready. He was ready to kill my dog. I couldn't let it happen. 26:12 Speaker 1 Yeah, there was. There's that video going around. You've probably seen it before. There's like a pit bull or a boxer mix attacking like a little Chihuahua, and the dude just jams his finger up his butt. Now that dude had it, it'll make the dog stop and freak out. I mean, I think it'll make anybody or anything stop if you put a thumb up their butt. 26:29 Whoa, what's going on here? 26:31 Speaker 2 What? So the dog was attacking his dog and he jammed his finger up the dog's butt? Yeah, and it. 26:36 Speaker 1 Made him stop, made him like. 26:37 Speaker 2 Whose dog, his dog, or the dog attacking it? 26:39 Speaker 1 The attacking dog. 26:41 Speaker 2 OK, that makes more sense. I was. I was very confused as to why you'd shove your finger up your own dog's butt as it's being attacked. The. 26:47 Speaker 1 Attacking dog was like, oh, oh, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I didn't know y'all were doing that. I'll get off right now. Oh man. So that was your daily dose of dumb news. We got a new Pope for you Catholics. I don't know why I'm saying we I'm not Catholic or French. So have a good time with the new Pope and don't be smuggling cats. 27:05 Apparently you're going to be killed. If you're going to do it, do it in the US, but don't fight them. Fight them. And if you got to offload them, take them to a Chinese restaurant sponsored by Dollar Scoop. I'm just kidding. But they did find cats out there. Outback, a little restaurant down here in Newnan. It's $1.25 a scoop now. 27:21 It's fucking lying bastard. So we got. 27:23 Speaker 2 A guest. And if you want a game to play at any family function and you're thinking about having a BBQ, Brandon recommends what game? Catapult. No Oh chicken 1. 27:39 Speaker 1 Chicken. Oh God. Chicken. Shit. Squares, squares. Shit, it's a fun game. I'm sure multiple people are going to come out and tell us that they've played that same game. 27:50 Speaker 2 Very good or not, nobody's ever even heard of that game. 27:53 Speaker 1 It's it's essentially, it's essentially a live version of keno. It's what it is a lot more fun instead of just waiting for the balls to turn red on the TV at a, you know, pizza place with 10 people in it. And you're just like, what am I doing with my life? At least you get to watch the chick and chit and run around if you get bored and you eat it. 28:12 So we got a guy coming up. Oh, Mike, if you remember Mustang Mike or Mustang list Mike, he wrecked his car listening to us. I don't know if we're at fault if he's trying to blame us, but first thing he thought to do was give us a call and hopefully we can talk him through it and make his life feel better. So we're going to call him here in a little while. 28:27 But first, we'll get to your. 28:29 Speaker 2 What the Chuck? What the Chuck? 28:33 Speaker 1 Yeah, you want to Chuck me? Chuck him real hard. 28:36 Speaker 2 Chuck me Chuck, me, Chuck me Chuck. 28:40 Speaker 1 Me. I'm full of Chuck. Oh Chuck, Chuck it real good. 28:43 Speaker 2 What that you DJ in vision? Oh, all right, man. First time we've done this on this show, we talk about music. So anybody that's listening that that hasn't followed myself in the Pet or me in the past or my band in the past knows that, you know, I record music. 29:02 I have music out there. It's not on iTunes anymore. I learned that from Brandon. It's on Apple Music. It's also anywhere else you get your music, but I've been doing it for what, 15 years now? And we always have new music being released. We try to do it every few months. 29:19 And this one that that got released, we just, we just dropped it. We're going to debut it on this show. We're going to give you a little piece of it. But before we do, I got to set this up because you guys have to know how special what you're about ready to hear is. And it's mostly because this other guy on the show, Brandon, had a little piece of it. 29:37 His, his magic touch is on the song and the sample that I'm going to play. Brandon had a big part of that. So so my buddy Will Turpin me and Will got got together many years ago. 29:53 Will plays bass for Collective Soul. He's toured the nation. He's a genuine rock star, but he's also a great guy. And he was with with me at A at a brewery for a show. We got him up, hit it off, became friends. 30:09 I start talking about music. He has a studio down in Jonesboro, GA called Reel to Reel Studios, where some of the biggest bands ever have recorded. Joe, Joe Bonamassa, who is a wonderful guitar player, was down there a couple weeks ago and, and Will's just got a really good clientele of friends. 30:27 So whenever I take a song to Will and I say, hey man, like this is what I'm thinking with this song. This is what I wrote it for. This is the reason he does a very good job of taking my vision and making it reality. So with this song, I said, look, I've never done a country song. 30:45 Never. And I've always wanted to do a genuine country song. So what do you think? And Will said, yeah, let's, let's hear it. So I played it on my acoustic guitar. And Will said, I like it. I like it. You know, what we need is this, this, this, this, this, this, you know, it starts going through the Rockstar thing, right? 31:02 And I said, Will, I'm begging you, make it a country song. Give me all the bells and whistles for a country song. So he brings in Brian Collins, who Brian has charted top 20 in the country music genre for singles and songs over the last five years. 31:23 Brian Collins is a very, very good country music artist. I encourage everybody that hears this to go out. Listen to Brian Collins. He's got great music. Brian Collins. So he said, hey, I'm going to have Brian Collins do backup vocals for you. I said that's wonderful, you know, because I love my band. 31:40 I love Tim. Tim's a great guitar player. But I wanted country, I wanted country and I told him country, country, country. So he said, I'm going to do another one for you. I'm going to bring in Zac Brown, Zac Brown's fiddle player. And we're going to use, we're going to use her to play the fiddle. 31:57 Speaker 1 Now you can play in Texas. 32:00 Speaker 2 What does that mean? 32:02 Speaker 1 If you're going to play in Texas, I got to have a fiddle in the band. Elite Guitar is hopping out for a Louisiana band. Don't worry, I'll be over a. 32:11 Speaker 2 Bone Yeah, you know the rest. Anyway, so he brings her in, she plays fiddle on it, and he plays bass guitar. Why would you not have collective souls? 32:26 Bass guitar player play bass and he plays piano on it. And I said, hey, I want the western stand up piano like a like a saloon piano. I said, that's the that's the piano I want you to play. He said I got it. So we go in and we're recording all this and it's going great and I'm very happy with the song. 32:48 I'm very happy with the lyrics. I'm happy with everything that we had put together. And then the last day that we're going in to complete this song, I had the unfortunate opportunity to bring Brandon with me into the studio. 33:07 And I told him, I said, Brandon. I said, hey, why don't you come to the studio with me? It's only going to take like 20 minutes. We just got to lay down a couple things. And you can just hang out in the back and just watch like it's, it's just a great experience to be there. You're in the studio with Will and you know, it's just cool. 33:23 And Brandon, of course. Hell yeah, man, that sounds awesome. 33:23 And Brandon, of course. Hell yeah, man, that sounds awesome. Let's go. So we go in and mind you, I have written this entire song. This entire song is done. Will has given his stamp of approval. He has said to me, this is a great song. 33:39 I love the lyrics. I love everything we're doing. We're good. Let's just lay this down. So I lay it down and I walk out and I walk into the the control room and Will says, and this is after I've been in there what, Brandon, 20 minutes was like 20 minutes maybe I was in there 2025 minutes, something like that. 33:59 Speaker 1 Yeah, something like that. 34:00 Speaker 2 So I had to already I'd sing the song five times and Will goes, what if we change this lyric? And when he told me what he wanted to change, I, I was a little confused because I don't, I didn't really understand it. 34:17 I I didn't understand what it meant. And he was really good at explaining this is what it means. This is what it means. And Brandon's in the corner completely agreeing with everything that will say yes, yes, yes. And then I noticed that Brandon's eyes are really glassy. 34:38 And I, I picked up a small hint of what some would consider to be smelling like THC or the marijuana. And I quickly came to realize that while I was recording, Brandon was taking part in consumption of a THC pin. 35:02 Is that correct? Is that is that? Is that the correct way of putting it? 35:05 Speaker 1 35:05 Speaker 1 Yeah, I think what Chuck meant to say was me and Will were getting absolutely ripped on the fucking dabs in the damn studio, baby, while Chuck's in there singing his heart out. You want to hit this? I'm like, yeah. Then I hand it back to them like, that's good shit, isn't it? I'm like, Joe, come in in here for a minute. 35:20 Speaker 2 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So after you guys have been in there for a while, they call me in and Will says, hey, I want to change this. And the part of the song which you're going to hear, the sample that Brandon's going to play, it's supposed to say you think I'm a villain, but I'm not. 35:40 And Will says where you say I'm not, you just say you think I'm a villain, but on the water I walk and and him and Brandon were both like, oh God, that's so good, That's so good. 35:56 And I, I just, I made the comment because I'm not high at the time. I don't get it. What does that mean? You think I'm a villain, but on the water I walk and he's like, you know what I mean? Like you think I'm a villain, What do I walk? And Brandon's. 36:11 Speaker 1 Like oh God, that's so good. 36:13 Speaker 2 That's so good. So the Grammy, baby Grammy, he's like that guy. Jesus man. So, so I, I fought it for, I don't know, 5 minutes until I realized that this is a losing battle. 36:29 And if a person that has sold millions of records tells you you need to change a lyric in your song, then you change the lyric in your song. And that's what we did. 36:39 Speaker 1 And I'm sure he's gotten high many a times when he wrote songs now that we know that. 36:44 Speaker 2 36:44 Speaker 2 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like December. That's a good Collective Soul song when they talk about stuff that you have no idea what they're talking about. But either way, without further ado, I want you guys to hear this sample and it includes the lyric that Brandon and Will Turpin had a piece in changing the lyric to be on the water I walk. 37:05 It does flow. It did work for the song. Sadly, I have to admit that. But here we go play it Brandon. I can 37:21 You call me a villain on the water. I walk. It's our. 37:32 Speaker 3 Story. 37:34 Speaker 2 Yeah, you tell it so. Well, you are the beauty. I'm the beast that fell. There you go. 37:50 That's that's the chorus. That's the chorus that that Will Turpin and I now collectively. Right. He might have did that just because he gets more royalties. Yeah, because if he changes one word in a song, the royalties change. And I didn't know that. Oh, this was back when we first started. 38:06 So we were talking about royalties and how they work. 38:06 So we were talking about royalties and how they work. And because Will produces all these songs, he's in for like, I don't know, say 10%. That's a, that's a Tim question, but he's in for like 10%. So. But if you're a partial writer of a song, you automatically take an additional 10 off the top no matter what. 38:24 That's the way that me and Tim. So any song you hear that we release, especially if it's written by Tim, I always make changes, you know, like like Warren and all of them. I'm like, yeah, Tim, that's a great, that's a great line. But what if we change the with? Uh, you know it would. 38:38 Speaker 1 Be really good. 38:39 Speaker 2 Exactly. Yeah, Yeah. You never know, man. One of these things get picked up for a commercial and you're in it. But anyway, so that's the new song. It's called The Beast. It is my first. It is the Distinct Grace, the band's first country music song. 38:56 And I can say 100%, we have done everything we can to make this as country as possible. The word on the street is from Will and the guys is we're never going to do another one. So please go out, listen to it, download it, share it, whatever you can. This thing will be shared like crazy today, Tuesday, as you guys are listening to this, you can go to Distinct Grace on any social media. 39:18 You can go to my page and you can go to Apple Music. Last thing, this is, this is where I need your guys's help. So this song, like I said, country music, whatever, we've been doing our own music videos for a while. 39:34 We we reached out, we've reached out to producers, we've reached out to people with with production companies and we've gotten really, really lucky in how some of these music videos have came to A to came came. What's the word I'm looking for come about. 39:49 Thank you come about came about. But what I need is somebody to take the rein on this. So here's what I'm going to do. Anybody that's listening, that is. Decent with video AI, whatever you want to make a music video, make one for this song. 40:08 We will put it on Vivo and all the other things that they have for music videos on TV and all that. We can get those out there. We'll put it on Apple Music, we'll put it on YouTube, we will share it. Crazy. But what we need is we need a music video for the entire song. 40:23 And then we need a music video a minute or under for Instagram, TikTok, things like that. I don't care what you do. You can be an actor. I give you full rights to do whatever you want to do with this song. Make a music video, get it to us so we can find somebody to say, oh man, that's a really good video, or it's really funny, or we have nothing else. 40:41 We're just going to use it because we're just too busy. I'm too busy to do a video. The guys are too busy right now. We got way too much with this show and trying to plan for a show that we're having Memorial Day. So anybody that wants to get one of their music videos out there, and like I said, it will be on Vevo. 41:00 You you use Vevo, Brandon. 41:03 Speaker 1 No, why would I use Vevo? I am not AI, do not make music videos. 41:07 Speaker 2 But you no, it's a it's an app for your smart TV Vimeo, no. 41:15 Speaker 1 It's called. 41:16 Speaker 2 Vivo, it's called vivo, isn't it? Isn't that well, I don't think. 41:19 Speaker 1 I don't think they've used Vivo in forever. That used to be back in the day when they would help artists try to get more money out of YouTube. 41:26 Speaker 2 No, Yeah, video hosting service that probably focuses on official music videos. Yeah, Vivo. So if you have a smart TV and you put in vivo and then you get on there like we always have it going on in the garage, especially during the summer, because you can just go on vivo and type in country music and it'll go through all these country music music videos without all those commercials. 41:50 It's fun. It's fun. So anyway, so if you guys, like I said, anybody wants to get a music video out there, get it on YouTube, get it on vivo, you know we can we can work with it. It'll be fun. But I need your help because I don't have time. And Brandon, if I tell Brandon to do it, it's not going to make any sense. 42:06 Speaker 1 It's literally going to be a hot girl. Like 15 seconds, Luke just dancing back and forth, shaking. 42:13 Speaker 2 Yeah, so that's it, man. That's it. I'm just I'm just happy that that that experience is finally over and I will never take Brandon back to the studio with me. 42:20 Speaker 1 Is there a deadline? Enter. 42:22 Speaker 2 Yeah, let's do what is today. Tuesday the 22nd, man. Let's go May 2nd. 42:32 Speaker 1 OK. All right, sounds. 42:33 Speaker 2 Good. May 2nd you got 10 days. Come up with something, send it to myself for branding, get it to us and we can even show them on here because I have one of the copies doesn't have licensing which is good. So we can play it like that little thing wasn't licensed yet. 42:48 So that way nobody will even know we did it. 42:51 Speaker 1 All right, Well, that was what the Chuck time for daily dose to get your life together. If you listen to yesterday's show, you know that old Mike called in after he wrecked his Mustang and he's very upset about it. That's his only transportation to work. So we're going to go ahead and give him a ring. Hopefully this is a little more light hearted than our our our past one was. 43:08 I guess not wouldn't unlight hearted. It's just the very hilarious, serious, terrible situation for old Ed. But we'll go ahead and call Mike and see see if he picks up. Hopefully he joins. It's going to piss me off if you're done. 43:27 Speaker 3 Hello. 43:28 Speaker 1 Hey, is this Mike? 43:30 Speaker 3 Yes, Sir. 43:31 Speaker 1 Hey man, it's Brandon and Chuck from the Daily Doe Show. How you doing? 43:35 Speaker 3 I'm doing good man. How are you? 43:36 Speaker 1 Oh, we're doing great, dude. We heard your voicemail yesterday for your daily dose to get your life together, and it sounds like you're kind of down in the dumps. You had a Mustang and you wrecked it. 43:45 Speaker 3 Yeah, yeah, yeah, I did. I did. So it wasn't it wasn't a crazy wreck or nothing, but. 43:51 Speaker 1 Well, yeah, I mean, in the voicemail you said you didn't know how you're going to get to work, so I guess it had to be kind of bad. I guess it immobilized your car there for a little bit. 43:57 Speaker 3 Yeah, it definitely immobilized it. I was out, I was out of a car for about a month, but I just recently, I just recently got it back running. 44:04 Speaker 1 Oh sweet. So what did you do? Were you listening to us and we said something funny and you wrecked it? Or were you just driving trying to be cool for some chicks? Or what happened? 44:12 Speaker 3 Oh, yeah, I was, well, I was, I was doing some Donuts in a parking lot, right. But, but when I was done with that, I, I, I, it was night time, so I turned my lights off because I didn't want people seeing me, you know, spinning around in, in the so it was, you know, an empty parking lot. 44:30 But so I had them off and I, I was done and I was going to leave and I never turned them back on. And you know, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, it's a pretty low car. So, you know, and then right in front of me, right below me, there's a fucking ditch. 44:46 And I literally just drive off the edge. 44:50 Speaker 2 OK. 44:50 Speaker 1 Well, at least I mean it was, so no one was around to see the doughnuts. You just felt like pulling off and doing it real quick. 44:57 Speaker 3 Yeah, I just did them real quick and I was like, all right, whatever it was, and my homie was in the car. I was like, all right, let's get out of here. And I just, yeah, just drove right up the. 45:04 Speaker 2 Edge MM I I love this story so far and I did not know when I got your voicemail that I was going to love it this much, but I'm excited. You got me intrigued now. So I got to ask you, Mike, how old are you? 45:17 Speaker 3 I'm 18 years old, Sir. 45:19 Speaker 2 OK, all right, Now we're now we're talking, old fucker. Now we're talking. OK, you're 18. And how often, let's say in a month, do you genuinely just driving down the road, go I need to go do some Donuts? 45:33 Speaker 3 Well, I mean, I, I, yeah, my, my, my buddy was in the car. He intrigued me. You know, I can't really, can't really say no. 45:42 Speaker 1 So this is like a once a month thing. 45:42 Speaker 1 So this is like a once a month thing. You do something cool and then you end up wrecking the car? Or is this the first time? 45:48 Speaker 3 No, dude, I, I drift this thing every fucking day. I've got I've got countless videos drifting this fucking thing. 45:54 Speaker 1 OK, yeah, the incrimination on the phone, I don't know how bad it is if you post a video of you doing like burnouts and Donuts and whatnot, because I know I see those people on Instagram that ride like the the Super sport bikes and the Hayabusas and they're always running from the law, but they they keep their identity safe. So have you posted any of these videos and had anybody like kind of come after you? 46:13 Speaker 3 No, I mean, I have some on like my Instagram story, but I mean, you know, I just say, you know, private property or whatever. 46:20 Speaker 1 So what kind of Mustang is it that you have? 46:23 Speaker 3 It's a 2007 GT 4.6 liter. 46:26 Speaker 1 Oh sweet. OK so what's the damn it? What's your insurance running on that at 18 years old? AV 8 sports car. 46:33 Speaker 3 Well, it's under my mom's name. I'm just on there. So it's, it's it's about 46:39 Speaker 1 Oh, so it's next time you get pullover for doing Donuts and leave the car wrecked there. They're gonna be like, ma'am, are you doing Donuts in the parking lot at the Walmart over here and just left your car wrecked? 46:48 Speaker 3 No, I actually will. This is how it went. So I, we, I had to, I had to put, get the car pulled out first pulled out of the ditch. So I called my boss up. My boss came with a tow strap in the truck and he pulled me out. That was no problem. And then, and then, yeah, the car was the car fired up. 47:06 It sounded really bad, but you know, it drove. I made it for about I'd say a football field about 100 yards and the car gave out. That was because I didn't know at the time, but that was because since the airbags had gone off, it it cut the fuel to the car, it it cut the fuel pump off. 47:23 So yeah, it was just like a dude. I just ran out of gas, basically. Yeah. And. 47:27 Speaker 2 Mike, where, where are you from? Mike, where do you live? 47:30 Speaker 3 I'm from Northwest Indiana. 47:32 Speaker 1 Damn we we get a lot of people from Indiana is there nothing to do there except for just hanging out on social media and listen to call in for about about problems y'all have? 47:41 Speaker 3 Percent. Either that or fish. 47:44 Speaker 1 Yeah, some dude we talked to broke, would he break both legs snowboarding in Indiana? And he lost his business or something. Then his he got in with another business partner and he screwed him over and he was just like, yeah, man. And we're in Indiana. That's what we do, break our legs snowboarding. Yeah. 47:57 Speaker 2 Lose our job and do don't and do Donuts in random parking lots. Which parking lot do you choose Mike, if you if you have to go to a business, what is your go to? What is your go to business parking lot to do these Donuts in? 48:11 Speaker 3 Anything with black top? That's right. That's where I crashed as well. But straight black top. 48:17 Speaker 2 Why black top if you don't mind me asking? 48:20 Speaker 3 I don't know it just it slides better because I thought my tires as much. 48:29 Speaker 1 Yeah, you don't ever just like pull out like you're driving down the road and you see a nice field and you want to go do a doughnut out there. I guess that's more of a truck thing. We, we when we were in high school, we had, we were more of the truck seeing it. It happens that with kids I find like different generations, they'll go from sports cars and then the next generation will go to like jacked up lift the trucks and then they'll go back to sports cars and then jacked up lift the trucks. 48:47 It's very. So I guess, I guess we're on the the sports car generation at the moment. 48:53 Speaker 3 Yeah, yeah, yeah, for the moment. 48:54 Speaker 1 Oh I got you, cool now what? You said your boss came and helped and pulled you out. Sounds like a pretty cool boss. What do you do for work? 49:01 Speaker 3 I do I, I play basketball. I do Black Ops. 49:04 Speaker 2 Oh my gosh, motherfucker's out there. 49:08 Speaker 1 That's why the boss loves you. You're out there tearing up parking lots and he's getting jobs to repay them. You're destroying them. 49:14 Speaker 2 He has to put a sign up when he leaves. You need you need your asphalt redone. Call this guy and it's like every time he gets done tearing up the asphalt, he puts a sign in the grass. 49:24 Speaker 1 So what did you? So are are you out of high school now? I guess you just graduated this past year. 49:29 Speaker 3 No, actually I graduated in about two weeks. 49:31 Speaker 1 Oh, OK. Damn, Doing asphalt while you're while you're in high school, That's awesome, man. This is a, it's a big change in your life. We had a guy on a couple weeks ago who is he's about, I think he's graduating this semester also. And he was, you know, very worried about what the future held for him and what he was supposed to do next. He said all his friends had it figured out. 49:48 He didn't know if he wanted to go to school or straight to work. So what what's your plans? Are you planning on working at this asphalt company when you get out or is this just the side gig? Are you going to college? What's your plans here in the next couple weeks? 49:58 Speaker 3 Yeah, I don't know. I'm still getting it figured out. I wouldn't say, you know, you know, I got it. I got it all figured out. But it's definitely I, I think it's a pretty good, you know. Oh. 50:09 Speaker 1 My God, just getting another wreck, getting pulled over. Ain't no way. Sounds like he's driving. Something happened again. Yeah. I swear if he got in a wreck, Mike, are you there? 50:30 Speaker 2 No way, dude. I know there's no way that just happened. There's no way that just happened. 50:36 Speaker 1 Oh my God, Mike, are you there? Can you hear us? 50:41 Speaker 2 Mike, push one of the buttons on the phone if you can't speak. 50:46 Speaker 3 Oh wait, when did you lose me? Oh. 50:47 Speaker 1 OK, there we are. Oh, we lost the right. I thought we thought you wrecked, man. We're like, ain't no way this man just wrecked again us. Like, God damn, he's doing. He's doing doughnuts right now. 50:58 Speaker 3 I think I walked too close to my car and connected to the Bluetooth. Where's your? What was I planning? 51:03 Speaker 1 51:03 Speaker 1 Basically, we just asked you what your plans were after high school. 51:07 Speaker 3 Oh, OK. Yeah, no, I was, I was just saying, you know, I don't really, I wouldn't say I got it all all figured out just yet, but I I was saying, you know, I think the asphalt job is a it's pretty good. You know, while while I'm still in school, I've been doing it for about about six months now. 51:23 And yeah, I'd probably end up either using that experience, you know, to to help me eventually start my own business. I've already, I'm taking entrepreneurship right now. Last last semester I took finance. So yeah, I'm just. 51:38 Speaker 1 Getting awesome. Is that like a dual enrollment class or they offer that at your high school? 51:43 Speaker 3 Well, they're only those classes are only 1 semester. 51:48 Speaker 1 OK. But the it's offered through the high school. It's not like a dual enrollment program where you're technically going to a college while you're in high school. 51:56 Speaker 3 No, no, no, no, no. I did take in, in my sophomore year, I did take dual enrollment for engineering, but I eventually I, I don't think I've, I, I didn't finish the the what what do you call it a certificate for it? But yeah, I was, I wasn't dual enrollment. No, these are just regular one semester classes. 52:13 You know, it's like, yeah, like 14 weeks, 14 weeks or something. 52:18 Speaker 1 No, I got you. So you said you're getting close to your car. Are you in your car now? 52:23 Speaker 3 Well, I was, I just got home. 52:23 Speaker 3 Well, I was, I just got home. I just, I walked away from him because. 52:25 Speaker 1 Oh damn. OK, I was about to say, if you're on the way home, if there's a parking lot you can stop in and do some Donuts, we'd love to hear that real quick. 52:33 Speaker 3 Obviously I I got a parking lot right next to my house. Let me, let me go. Start her back up all. 52:40 Speaker 1 Right, we'll keep you on the phone. How? How long is it going to take you to get over to the parking lot? 52:45 Speaker 3 5 minutes. 52:45 Speaker 1 Oh, OK, cool. 52:47 Speaker 2 Hey, Mike, I got a question for you. So when you when you got in the accident and you wrecked your car, how long after that did you call us and leave that voicemail? 52:57 Speaker 3 I think that was about a week after I crashed. 53:01 Speaker 2 Oh, damn it. I was hoping that you just did it and you just, it just happened to be like, you know what? While I'm waiting on the tow truck, I should probably call Chuck and Brandon I. 53:10 Speaker 3 Got to tell someone about this. No, I got you. Yeah. So. 53:18 Speaker 1 Yeah. So I'm guessing you didn't go through insurance to fix your car, you just kind of fixed it yourself. Are you like a handy mechanic guy or did you take it somewhere? 53:26 Speaker 3 Yeah, I'm pretty handy myself. I've I, I've, I've done, you know, my brakes when I crashed it, I ended up having to replace the whole radiator. I replaced the airbags, the fucking, the fuel pump, which I don't think all that was necessary because I ended up actually just taking it to a shop to get this, to get this module repaired. 53:44 But yeah, I, I have thrown plenty of parts of this car. It was only like 100 bucks in repairs I think. 53:49 Speaker 1 What year did you say it was at? O seven? Yeah, O 7. Oh yeah, them fuel pumps are easy as hell. You just pop the back seat right out and there it is. 53:56 Speaker 3 Yeah, yeah, it's right there. 53:57 Speaker 1 Yeah, I'll say I, I got a 2008 V 6 Mustang that I'm putting a a Lincoln Navigator 5.44 valve in, so it should be a pretty cool build. Whenever I get it done. It's I I kind of decided to. 54:09 Speaker 3 Go, you showed me it on the text message. 54:11 Speaker 1 Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah. So it's yeah, it's like I said, I got the V6 because I wanted the cheap insurance and I also because even if you buy AGT like your years, I mean you're probably, you probably spent what, 10 grand on that car. 54:24 Speaker 3 Oh no, my mom. This was my mom's before it was mine. I'm only 18. I my mom bought this about I'd say 8-8 or nine years ago she bought it. She got it for like 6 grand or something. It had 100 and 160,000 on it probably at that time. 54:40 Speaker 1 Oh, sweet. Wow. Yeah, that's that's always good. Keep the car and the family keep it, you know, maintain good. Take care of it and it'll take care of you. And you pass it down to your kids for sure. So. 54:50 Speaker 3 Got it. She drove it for, she drove it for about I think three years and then the motor went out on her, but she she put a whole new motor in it so. 54:57 Speaker 1 I was on the road, yeah. Those four sixes, I mean, they're good. They're good car motors. I just, like I said, I wanted a little bit of a challenge on A5 four, so that's why I went in that direction. 55:06 Speaker 2 Well, while while we're waiting on Mike to get over there and give us some Donuts, I got a question for you. Mike. You're rolling your Mustang. You're 18 years old, Indiana. What's your go to music when you're going to do some three 60s or doughnuts or whatever in a in a parking lot? 55:23 What are you listening to? Oh. 55:26 Speaker 3 Man, I'm pretty, I'm pretty, I'm pretty all around when it comes to music. But I think you know, some classic, some Lynyrd Skynyrd or something. 55:35 Speaker 1 Yeah, baby. 55:36 Speaker 2 Have you ever heard of the Band of Stink Grey's? They're really good, you should check them out. 55:40 Speaker 3 Hold on, listen to this. I'm not here with the wind. 55:48 Speaker 1 Yeah, we heard it. Is that you whipping it around real quick? 55:52 Speaker 3 Yeah, just whipping it real quick. I'm I'm trying to get to to the nice parking lot. You know, I don't. I don't even. 55:56 Speaker 1 Talk, man, just doing it in an intersection. Sorry officer, I was on the phone talking to these guys on this podcast and doing Donuts. Like Sir, that does not help your case. 56:07 Speaker 3 I got the dash Cam recording at the time so it'll be funny at least. 56:10 Speaker 1 Oh yeah, they'll, I don't know, Chuck, you might know that can, if you have a dash Cam and like, let's say you hit somebody, can the other person request your dash Cam footage? 56:23 Speaker 2 Well, yeah, I mean, anything would be admissible, especially if their insurance companies are involved and they're going to say, hey, did you record? Did you have a recording? Because they're going to try to get any type of recording they can. So they're going to go after, I'm not go after, but they're going to go to like local businesses and look for surveillance camera footage, things of that nature. 56:38 So if they know you have a dash Cam, they're going to request that dash Cam and most likely they're going to get that dash Cam footage. So my recommendation? Yeah, get rid of the dash Cam if you're at fault, you know what I'm saying? 56:51 Speaker 1 Toss that thing out the window. 56:54 Speaker 3 Yeah, when I crashed mine, my dash Cam wasn't recording at the time. So even if even if it wasn't. 56:59 Speaker 1 There you go yeah that's that's like I lost all my guns in a boating accident yeah, it's see how things like that just happened at the right time, man so. Well, Mike how far are you away from this parking lot? We're we're getting close to wrapping the show up here. I'd about say we're going to keep you on to hear a quick little burnout or a doughnut and then we'll get we'll get you we'll get you out of here. 57:16 But we appreciate you coming on. I'm. 57:19 Speaker 3 I'm I'm like 20 seconds away. 57:22 Speaker 1 I'm excited, man. I am excited. 57:27 Speaker 3 Gravel because the I got a new tire and they're super loud when I when I squeal them. So I'm going to just, I'm going to hit some gravel. 57:34 Speaker 1 OK. 57:36 Speaker 3 I'll keep it in first here though. I'm a let it be. 57:39 Speaker 1 OK, you let us know when you're ready. 57:43 Speaker 3 One second here. 57:45 Speaker 1 This is awesome. I love how earlier he was just like hold on, listen to this peeling out. 57:52 Speaker 3 So all right, I'm gonna keep the windows down. 57:56 Speaker 1 All right, here we go. All right. Ready. Yeah, we ready. 58:17 Speaker 3 Entire intersection. 58:23 Speaker 1 Oh God. Oh, that was awesome Mike. I appreciate it. I'm sure the the listeners will love that. Like I said, if you want, if you want to message me a video also, you got my number. If you want to shoot that over, I can make sure there's no incriminating evidence. Obviously it's up to you. I can we can put it on the screen also. But awesome Mike, I'm glad you got the Mustang back together. 58:39 Like I said, I'm a Ford guy, Mustang guy. And like I said, this is a good one. Sometimes people when they call in, you know, with the, I mean, we do try to help them, you know, as much as we can, but I think some people might think we're a therapist and we're not a licensed therapist. We're just more of entertainment dudes chilling dude to dude talk women every now and then the women are scared to call about their problems. 58:58 I think they're I think they're worried we're going to handle a little too roughly, but we're just letting them know, you know, as we get along, they're they're getting better. We're OK. All right, Well, there goes Mike. We'll see. Mike might have got pulled over. I don't I guess he was done talking. That's all he wanted to talk to us. So. 59:14 Speaker 2 He just wanted to get his. He just wanted to get the sound of him peeling out like on air. And then he's like, all right, I've done my job. 59:20 Speaker 1 He's good enough. He probably got dude. I hope he didn't get pulled over. He's like these guys told me to do it. 59:24 Speaker 2 On the spot, yeah. I didn't say anything. You did. You're the one who wanted it. So I'm going to tell them I had nothing. They're going to go back to the footage. I'm going to do anything. 59:32 Speaker 1 I'm going to change the voice over and have it be your mouth. Be like do a burnout. All right, Well, if that's your daily dose of dumb news, your what the Chuck and your get your life together. That guy he called when his life was not together and he got it together before we could even give him a call back. 59:48 So that's a good one right there. That one. That one shows you that even though he was down and kind of sad about what was going on, you know, he stuck it out, kept going to work, kept going to school and he got his car fixed. So look at that. If you're listening to us on Spotify or Apple podcast, be sure to follow us and leave us a five star of you if you. 1:00:05 You have a problem with your life or you need to call and tell us about something for our daily dose to get your life together 404-890-0005 lots of 0 so you can remember Chuck what you got and I can't hear you he's muted he doesn't know what he's doing I don't know why I. 1:00:20 Speaker 2 Decided to Sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't do that. You. You muted me. You muted me. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Have you checked your phone? 1:00:29 Speaker 1 I have not what happened. 1:00:30 Speaker 2 I'm just going to let you know because we were going to have a guest on this show in a couple weeks and I just found out he passed away. So Cadillac Jack from Kicks One O 1.5 is no longer with us. RIP. 1:00:46 Speaker 1 Are you serious? 1:00:47 Speaker 2 Yeah, where the fuck? 1:00:48 Speaker 1 Did you see that at? 1:00:49 Speaker 2 It just came through, man. Nate. Nate sent it to us because we were talking about having him on the show. 1:00:55 Speaker 1 Oh my God, dude. 1:00:56 Speaker 2 Yeah, so. And anyway, so, you know, respectful to the family and respectful to everybody that knew him, but just from us. Rest in peace, man. Damn, that's terrible, terrible news. 1:01:10 Speaker 1 Like Jack Man, yeah, when I first started at Rock Corner .5, I remember we did an event at Pontoon Brewing and he, he didn't really, I mean, he didn't know who I was, but I was kind of sitting down and then I walked up and he kind of came over to me and he just started talking to me. And I told him and, you know, I love radio or, you know, I like entertaining people. 1:01:26 So we talked about that for a while and wow, that's crazy. That's that's crazy news. So, all right, well, hold the ones you love close and we'll see you later. Bye.
